Giannis’ mid-range game is MONEY 💸

There’s no way you can do this without getting in some trouble. So, I guess I’m in trouble with you guys today. I’m a big believer in Giannis. His growth as a playmaker and his ability to find shooters and cutters and the addition of his little mid-range jump shot that he’s making at such a high clip. But for me, I thought his case for best player in the world was always his like relentless effort, motor, and availability. I trust him in the playoffs to hit a certain level defensively. Giannis is the best player in that tier on defense by far. guy that’s continuing to evolve his game, making everyone else around him better. I think that’s going to carry over to next season. The addition of the mid-range and how Giannis shot the mid-range, fifth most makes in the league, decent level of value. How much improvement would he have to make in that area, the mid-range area for you to change your opinion? The line of demarcation, so to speak, is 50%. I want to be able to get to a shot that I can make half the time. What I like from Giannis is actually the ones out of his hesitation dribble when he’s like holding the ball in his left hand and the guy’s kind of giving him space and he just rises and fires or like a quick little rhythm dribble.

  2. I'm a big believer that Jason Timpf doesn't watch the bucks. If he did, he'd put Giannis first, because he is doing as much and more on the offensive end than Jasons 1 2 and 3 and significantly more on the defensive end.

    Jason's take is dumb. It's one thing to completely miss the nuances of Giannis game and rank him 2nd. It's another thing all together to put a guy who is eaten alive defensively 1st and then put two guys with far fewer accolades and long term success at 2 and 3.

    Jason is speaking to get paid. He realizes these clickbait Giannis bits are good for business.
