He’s not appearing at this team function, comraderie mini-camp. I spoke to Aaron Turner today & he told me the PO is still critical”

  1. So Melton, Payton II, Curry, Horford gonna be there too? JK just digging in too deep. What’s the advantage to him making everyone wait this out? Warriors ain’t going to blink.

  2. It just seems like it’s too late now. Regardless what happens he’s burned his bridges. He shown what matters to him. Take the qualifying offer sit on the bench and fuck off.

  3. And do we expect all these players to be buddy-buddy after everything has been said and done?

    Very poor look on JK

  4. I think it’s only fair to Kuminga to consider that his life and livelihood really do depend on this contract. Also, to remember that the team will treat him as an asset and trade him with no thought to how it effects him if they’re able to.

It’s not hard to think of a scenario where he’s traded and that option is the difference between languishing in Milwaukee (for example…) for a year or hitting the free agent market with an opportunity to make huge money.

If you had a deal that could potentially impact your ability to make millions of dollars (and if we’re being real tens of millions, probably close to a hundreds of millions), wouldn’t you have your representatives try to make sure it’s as good as possible of a deal as they can get?

I don’t know his full story, but I’m sure a lot of people are depending on him too. The Warriors could give him what he wants too, that’s an option. I think they’re playing hard ball because they know they have a market advantage and it’s rubbing JK and his reps the wrong way. It makes sense. Idk why everyone is so mad at JK for this… I hope it gets resolved very soon but this isn’t a hold out.

Glad most of the team is getting together.

  5. It’s one thing for the warriors front office and Kuminga trying to make a deal. It’s another for your teammates hosting team events you should still go to.

  6. told you guys we should’ve traded his ass at deadline but I got downvoted 78 times lol.
Dudes a diva and thinks he’s a superstar. We don’t got time for this bullshit with steph jimmy draymond windows closing

  7. If he can’t buy in to a mini camp without a PO, there’s not that much that he will buy in to

  8. does anyone know where in SD they’re hosting this?

I went to ucsd and I remember the denver nuggets held camp at rimac at ucsd.

  9. i hope this thing don’t drag all the way to oct 1. get all done by monday and take the week to get all other signings in

  10. Why can’t they just remove the options all together and offer a 3 year lower per year contract?

  11. Can we just waive that clown? He totally ruin the whole off season. Cant wait for him to be traded or even waived😮‍💨

  12. I dont think he realizes how much he will be clowned if he doesn’t become an allstar or at least be a 20+ ppg scorer in the next 2-3 years. He is legit acting like a top 20 player.

  13. JK is currently not under contract, therefore not a team member. No need to meet with the team and have them try to meddle.

JK is holding out hope for a sign n’ trade to materialize. Otherwise he will sign QO on Oct 1.

  14. In any contractual dispute – it always seems like the player ought to do everything he can to endear himself to his teammates and limit the contractual dispute to management.

This being an unofficial event hosted by a teammate just really highlights how JK’s representation is failing to advise him properly.

  15. The minicamp make the timing of the Warriors upping their offer make sense to me now. I thought they did it too early. Unfortunately, Turner seems to have taken it as a first blink rather than a final offer.

  16. Worst agent ever.

JK should FIRE this POS and move on. He is NOT serving his client well at all!
