‘Never A Whisper’ About Nikola Jokic Wanting To Leave Nuggets

Personally I thought he would announce it. Of course there is no whisper
I hope he doesn’t though
Why would he ever leave? Hes won a championship in this city, is beloved by fans and given a lot of power within the team, out of the spotlight which he prefer unlike being in LA, NY, and other big cities, close friends/teammates, and now has a great team built around him and knows that the FO will do whatever they can to continue to be championship contenders for many years to come.
He is going to be a Kobe, a Tim Duncan, a Dirk, a player who will only play for 1 team his entire career and retire as a Nugget. I am confident he will go that route. Would be really shocked if he decides to jump ship to another team but that will more than likely happen when he is much older.
People outside of the Nuggets fan base really tried to make a big deal out of him not signing the extension this offseason but, it’s really a nothing burger.
He’ll get paid more if he signs next season, they could’ve won the championship last season and it wouldn’t have made sense for him to sign right now.
He will sign his max extension next offseason.
He had a choice between the guaranteed money now or $80 million more if he waits until next summer. He chose the $80 million. Everybody knew this was going to happen but clickbait media has to clickbait.

The chances of Jok leaving Denver are the same as Steph leaving the Warriors. Never gonna happen
I can’t wait for the eventual irrelevance of GSW when they don’t sign Jok or Giannis in 2027
People who spread these rumors are people who want Jokic on their team (Lakers mainly lol ). Why the hell would he leave? He is settled here with a team that was good for a long time and now a great team…. Man stop!
He cares about denver about as much as any other city. It’s just american noise.
I don’t pretend to know Jokic’s motivations but the evidence thus far is that his superstar status to drama ratio is closer to 0 than any of his elite peers.
