This is a very random thought but I wonder if Bregman and Lowe ever talk about that 2023 ALCS. That was the most fun non-Sox postseason series I’ve watched in recent memory.
I’m not gonna lie, New York winning the division wouldn’t be that bad *given the situation we currently find ourselves in.*
I think I’d rather face Toronto’s pitching in a 3-game series than have to face Fried and Rodon.
Fried is 3-1 with a 2.37 ERA against us. That becomes 1-1 with a 1.96 this year. Rodon is a little worse, he had one bad start, one okay start, and one good start, but they’re still better than Gausman and whoever they’d run out second.
