Washington Commanders Just Unleashed A Budding Star In Statement Win
All right. What is up everybody? If you are watching this video, just know that we want you to subscribe. But take a second, watch the video. If you like it, then hit that subscribe button. If you don’t, move on to the next channel. That’s okay with us. But we want to have you as part of this community. If you are unfamiliar with what we do here, my name is Craig. Me and my buddy Chris started this. We are big Detroit Lions fans, believe it or not, but we love teams um in the NFL, especially those that the national media kind of ignores and doesn’t really talk about. We feel like the Commanders are absolutely one of them. And in this video, we are going to be talking about a commander that is already turning heads that they have just unleashed. All right, as you can see in the title, and it was for something that nobody would expect him to dominate in. It was very, very encouraging news for a young tight end. But then I’m going to talk about two other players. I’m going to be talking about a Will Harris replacement who I think it should be. And then I’m going to be talking about yet another young player that’s dominating. Um, Commanders are coming off a very easy win over the Raiders. just giving you a lot to be excited about. And um you know what? Look, you ran into a Packers team that was a buzzsaw. We ran into it as well. And then that Packers team very quickly turned the other way. Isn’t it crazy how the NFL works? No game is a gimme. And so even in wins against the Raiders, while it’s just like, “Oh yeah, that’s a gimme game.” It’s not. It’s really not. So enjoy all wins in the NFL. Not necessarily all equally, but try your best. All right, let’s talk about a guy by the name of Ben Sinnet. Right, this is your tight end. You drafted him in the second round just a year ago and he really didn’t play much his first year and I think there was a lot of worry. I think there was a lot of worry that he would be the best, right? Like, oh no, what is he going to be? like you looked at him. I mean, Peter’s your GM talked about how he was a combination, right, of of uh KD and use and you’re just like, okay, well, if he’s a combination of KD and use, then he’s the greatest tight end to ever walk on the face of the earth that can play fullback. He can play tight end. Anyways, all of that kind of stuff. Now, here’s what’s interesting. your primary blocking back Bates was injured in week two and so what you thought you know I mean like look part of the reason Senate didn’t get on the field in year one is because Z has turned back the clock and I mean he is playing some ridiculous quality tight end but still I wondered when Bates got hurt if Z would settle more in the blocking role and they’d send Sinnate on more of those deeper routes um because Sinnate was viewed as a reasonable reasonable blocker But he was also known for stretching the field vertically. All right, it was a it’s a But here’s the deal. He ended up filling in for baits entirely. He was blocking and he blocked. In fact, um I’ll show you this. Um I on this article that I was reading according to Pro Football Focus his 72.9 run blocking grade trailed only only Tyler Biottish and Chris Paul on the team. Two interior offensive linemen. All right, that’s similar to what Bates has been providing. Here’s the thing um that’s interesting to me. If Senate can prove that he can be that blocker, and it’s very clear what they were doing with him. They’re saying no block, no rock. This is a common phrase that you hear among offenses in the NFL and in college. And if Ben Sinn is out there proving, I can block, what he’s going to start doing is allow this offense to be even more multiple because he will be better than Bates when it comes to getting out and catching the ball as well. So, if he can block at that same level, the multipleness that this creates when he goes out and actually runs a a route, it allows you to go into more two wide receiver sets instead of three wide receiver sets. Um, and you can play more uh 12 cup or 12 personnel where you have two tight ends and one running back, two wide receivers, and it just allows you to do more things, become more multiple, flex out a tight end, like just unbelievable what it does, but it allows you to be a legitimate threat to run the ball on every single play. Uh, and that is that is really important. Okay, I do want to talk about a couple of other um a couple of other things. All right, couple of other things. Uh all positive things. We’re not going to go with the bad injury news yet here. Um I want to talk about a guy to replace Will Harris. And Will Harris have been playing some safety for you, right? And um it which is interesting to me because I remember him with uh the Detroit Lions and he did not play well, but some of that I do believe is poor coaching. And so I you’re not replacing just this ridiculous safety in Will Harris, but where are you going to go? And I think there’s a lot of options when it comes to that. You could go Percy Butler. Um you could go Savage. You I mean like there’s a lot of things you could do, but the guy that I love is Tyler Owens. See, what he doesn’t do as well is playing in the back. But when you need a guy that can play strong safety, and that’s Harris was normally a strong safety playing alongside Quan Martin, that free safety. And if you’re looking for a strong safety, Tyler Owens is your guy. This is a guy who will come in there at at a point I’m just absolutely blown away. And I don’t think many people realize this about him. Tyler Owens is an athletic freak. And I mean like the freakiest of freaks. All right. When he ran all right, East West Shrine Bowl, all this stuff is unofficial. He would have been the number one safety to ever test. And a lot of that is because he’s 6’2, 216 pounds, running under a 44. He is an athletic marvel. And when he’s on the field, he looks like a tall, lean linebacker more than he looks like a big safety, I would say. And so if you can use him, put him in the box, things like that. Again, you have to understand and you have to realize like this could be really good. The question is how are you going to use him? I think they’re going to play multiple safeties in the back end. But Tyler Owens is the one that I’d be saying, “Hey, he was undrafted. Athletic freak, turned heads last year and uh in practice and in preseason, things like that. Now, he has an opportunity to actually play. I would love to see him get out there, watch to see if he takes the field uh this weekend. It would be a really good sign going forward.” And then the next young person I want to talk to about is nobody other than Trey Amos. If you have been part of this channel for a while, you heard me from the time of the draft and then increased in rookie mini camp and then increased in otaas and then increased in training camp. I kept talking about Trey Amos. There was just a different vibe around this guy. There was just simply a different feel around this guy where you knew he would combine his athleticism and he was looking like the number one corner drafted even though he was drafted in the second round. He looked like he was a lock and a lock is what he has been. I’m going to give you a couple of stats here. All right, first one. Trey Amos has been work has been Washington’s top cover corner through three weeks both on the all 22 and analytically and it isn’t really close. In three starts, 84 coverage snaps, 42 in man. He only has nine targets against, four catches have been allowed for 41 yards, four forced incompletions, and a 51 58.1 passer rating. By the way, I like looking at the passer rating one um more than anything. Then when you go over again to Twitter, this is a chart. Top right, good, bottom left, bad. All right, so it’s a yards allowed per coverage snap versus passer rating allowed. So you want a low passer rating up top, and you want low yards allowed per coverage snap. Here is Trey Amos. All right. Right here. I’ll make my mouse big in case you can’t. Yeah, right there. Trey Amos right there. All right. He is amongst the top 10 corners in the league in case you were wondering in the league. So yeah, I would say he’s doing just fine that he has come into the league and been fine. Here’s Mikey Sain still. All right. His passer rating allowed is really high, but yards per um coverage snap are really low. So he’s doing pretty well. And here’s Latimore right in the middle of the mix. All right, Marshon Latimore right here in the middle of everything. I guess I could have just highlighted the whole time. Congratulations, Craig. Welcome to being old. All right, so anyways, with all that, um, there are changes, don’t get me wrong. Uh, but you easily won a game with your backup quarterback in. That’s encouraging. There are some injuries, but again, you have a great GM, so there’s a lot of depth that is reing reigning behind it. All right, thanks for watching. Make sure you hit that subscribe button if you’re still watching, and we’ll see you on the next one.

I think the commanders should go after deonte Johnson. He's not playing for the browns. He wouldn't cost much and he'd replace. Noah Brown Noah browns made of glass….
Let's Go Commanders HTTR πͺπͺπͺπ―
Lattimore needs to step up. He gets paid way too much to play mediocre….
I think Jaylin lane is going to be a superstar returner. They drafted him just for that.
Im getting as many Amos Rookie cards as i can hes a Stud.
The 'Skins need to use Sinnott much more in either rotation or pass catching 2te sets. We desperately need a dependable and accurate kicker, we unfortunately missed the boat on picking up Koo as the Giants grabbed him this morning. The Savage pick up was a solid move. I'm starting to question the Lattimore trade as his drama and excessive penalties along with mediocre play has cost us dearly to this point in the season. I would grab Gilmore as insurance and to motivate Lattimore to play better. Finally, our WR room is severely depleted by injury and/ or inconsistent play. With that being said no one thus far has stepped up ( although Lane did phenomenal on special teams!), so I'd snatch up Mecole Hardman, the Pack just released him today. The guys got sure hands, speed and is only 27. Clearly a win win for everyone.
We are down Terry, Noah, Jayden, Will Harris, wise, Ekeler.
Thanks for the Commanders love. Congrats on the great Lions win the other night.
Hey Chris congrats to your Lions on beating the Baltimore Ravens. The Lions looked really solid. Commanders fans don't like that team up North.
John Bates is a proven blocker. He's a Beast! Agree Sinnott was solid but let's see if he can do it consistently when teams have tape on him.
Is Tyler Owens ready right now???
FYI: Tyler Owens is a flat earther. Really. I think that's why he wasn't drafted.
Fact remains Sinnott was a reach. No idea if he can run a route a year in
Lions and Commanders in the NFC Championship game!π
I was very happy to see that we didn't destroy the Lions in January. What a win!
I just came here too say congratulations Detroit on beating those thugs on there own turf, & 7 QB sacks damn. nice job again beating those Baltimorons. The Redskins looked great last weekend against the Raiders.

Congrats on beating are neighbors.. You look good even though yβall lost yβall coordinators
Lions fans absolutely deserve a Superbowl trophy. I root for them when they are not playing the Commanders. Where I get off of the highway is trying to listen to Woodward Sports condescending comments towards their opponents.
Tyler Owens will be in the rotation, but Jeremy Reaves is a much more experienced missile that's earned playing time. Look for Luke McCaffrey to make some noise while Noah Brown and McClaurin nurse their injuries. The injury bug is certainly making up for being on sabbatical last season, but guys are stepping up. Congrats on spanking the birds btw.
We don't miss a beat with Marcus. He wins games too. Congratulations on beating the Ravens.
