  1. I just don’t get how they looked at the line Joe philbin put out there at the end of the year, that was blocking just fine for Mccormick. Kept philbin, shuffled the entire IOL, watched them struggle desopite knowing parham is better at RG than left, knowing jpj is better at center than guard and knowing Meredith was the higest rated lineman last year playing guard. They had all this info, they kept the guy who got that line working and decided to change it anyhow. Now it isn’t working and they refuse to change it back. Surely they are punishing jpj for some reason or they just think they’re smarter and won’t admit they weren’t.

  2. I have a hunch the coaching staff has more information than those of us watching the product on the field. being they are in practices and with the team most of their waking hours. And while they may not have solutions to immediately fix the problem, as with most nuanced issues for which most people aren’t directly involved, it’s way easier to opine simple solutions when you have nothing at risk.

I don’t believe they can easily fix this issue, but I also don’t think they are so stupid that a bunch of fans that only watch games know better. I’m fine with venting and discussing, but I won’t call them idiots for not being able to immediately fix it, or even try random things. That sort of short leash can probably ruin a locker room real quick.

  3. I kinda get Pete’s point, it’s getting rather tiresome in this sub. JPJ was out for two weeks. He had a concussion that kept him out for the second week and the third week was a short week with no pads so they kept him out. They are being careful with him because ya know they want him around long term. So we really only got to see the line they think is the best for week 1. Somehow all their shitty play on defense and special teams last week comes down to JPJ not being at center. Every YouTuber and podcaster is crying about it, that’s all this sub wants to post about, every press conference it gets asked. I’d be like stfu too.

  4. Why is it so hard for people to accept that JPJ doesn’t have enough working knowledge of the offense to basically be the captain of the line right now? Stop forcing things that aren’t there.

  5. I find more worrysome that our two 3rd rounders linemen seem to be bad enough that they can’t get playing time over Alex Cappa
