[Reiss] “I know what we can do. I still feel like we haven’t played our best football, and that’s what is promising ahead. … You see glimpses of it.” — Patriots QB Drake Maye

  1. Yeah, I could agree with that. I’m definitely anticipating what this team could look like after a couple of more weeks

  2. We’ve had 3 one score games with a fuck ton of mistakes

It’s not unrealistic to think they can get a win streak going if they clean it up and stop beating themselves

With that being said, we’ve faced some pretty bad teams so far so who knows

  3. We’ve already seen glimpses. Unfortunately some of those glimpses are quickly overshadowed by a turnover or another mistakes. I can tell this team is better than last years but the mental mistakes are going to be the death of the season.

  4. I’m fine with this take from Drake and not sweating the losses…but also pretty much every bad NFL team has “glimpses” of good football.

  5. Every bad team has some “glimpses”.

The Patriots were expected to be significantly improved this year, and they still can be. But a 5 or 6 win season with “glimpses” would be a disaster.

  6. We’re just like the Ravens. Couple of 1-2 teams who lost close games to costly turnovers. Two peas in a pod.

  7. Love that the team is starting to build some confidence and belief, even if the results aren’t there yet

  8. > “I still feel like we haven’t played our best football”

Yeah I mean I sure as hell hope not.

  9. They just need to learn how not to lose. The organization has been cheep losers since 2019… it takes time to recover.

  10. We could just as easily be 3-0 as well as 0-3.

Have had some wildly unlucky plays. The PT has us at 2.56 wins meaning realistically with AVERAGE luck, we’d be 3-0.
