Also genuine question- How is Zeke Nnaji not one of the guys competing for a roster spot in camp. Is it because of his contract? With Daron Holmes, Moses brown, and Kessler edwards in the mix, zekes spot should be far from guaranteed. He had some good minutes last season and looked like he had finally developed some. But a lot of the time he’s a liability out there and I lost confidence in our offense whenever he checked in.

  4. He is on a standard contract so while he is 100% competing for a place in the rotation he is going be on the roster regardless unless they waive him which I don’t see happening

  7. People said the same thing about Bones and now it’s look at him. This organization rarely waste talent if its there so if 2 head coaches, 2 GMs and their respective staff dont see it then he probably just doesnt have juice

  9. We wouldn’t gain much from cutting Zeke since he would still count against the cap. I guess the question is, is there a minimum contract out there better than Zeke? He does finally get a legit 5 to play next to, so maybe that’ll help? Wishful thinking I know.

    I’m excited for Holmes but he is basically a rookie coming off a season ending injury.

  11. Really excited for how this camp and preseason go. Even the guys at the bottom of this roster are good enough to play at least some NBA minutes, which hasn’t been the case the last few years

  13. I have much more hype and faith heading into this season than last season, probably more than the 23-24 season also if I’m being honest. Actually improved roster, coach that’s much more locked in than Malone was last season, healthy FO approach, and a bit more rest as well.

  16. I don’t know why he’s even on the team other than we have no way to get rid of him. We should just tell him to stay home until his contract is up.

  17. Zeke Nnaji is a 5th year player on a guaranteed multi year contract, come on bro you have to know that.

    I’m hyped for this team and believe they can win it all. If I have questions about them it’s these.

    1) Will Kessler Edwards get the 15th spot? Do they keep it open and sign a backup ball handler? Do they cut Hunter Tyson to get a backup ball handler?

    2) Does Julian Strawther have a real role on this team and play rotation minutes for more than 50 games?

    3) Does Peyton Watson get an extension? (Probably)

  18. Zeke Nannji and dozen this guys could not even make difference in the most of the europs clubs, they are pain to watch to be honest all these past seasons.
