Moises Ballesteros Deserves To PLAY For Chicago Cubs

All right, that’s more like it. The Cubbies dominate the New York Mets and retake command of potentially hosting that wildcard series against the San Diego Padres’s. I’m Samber from the Locked On Cubs podcast. Matthew Boyd was pretty good. Hopefully, he can take that momentum into his next start, which will be against the Padres’s in the postseason. We just don’t know which game yet. A lot of standout offensive performances to choose from, but I’m going to pick Mois Bisteros. And I’m just gonna say this, if Kyle Tucker can play the outfield, because if Tucker can’t play the outfield, then Baststeros has no place to play because Tucker will DH. But if Kyle Tucker could play the outfield next week against the Padres’s in the postseason, I think there needs to be a tough conversation to be had with Sea Suzuki against righties that Moises Bisterero should be in there as a DH. I just think with his approach, his bat ball skills, he’s kind of like a lefty Nico right now. He gives the Cubs a better chance to win right now with the way he’s hitting. I don’t think that’s a crazy take. Um really good big hit from from Ian Hap. Really good day for for Matt Shaw. It was a it was a big offensive performance. Cubs look great and are in a much better spot now than they were in just 24 hours ago. But man, Moises Bisteros, I’d like to see his bat out there. He He could really hit.

  2. i don’t think that’s a crazy take either. mo baller came up and showed he was ready for the big leagues. i believe he can show he’s ready for the postszn as well!

  4. Mo Ballah might be the real reason they let Tucker walk….Mo can Dh, Seiya can play right for his final year, and by then Caissie or Alcantara or both can replace Seiya and Happ 2 years from now.

  9. If you were losing your mind yesterday and are completely flipped today, you are wrong.

    If you were shouting from the rooftops after they clinched and completely flipped after the 5 game losing streak, you are also wrong.

    Let’s have a little objectivity and hold it together people. We have to better manage our priorities and not put our entire well being on the state of a baseball team. Life is hard enough as it is.

  12. why isn't Jonathon Long, Cubs minor league player of the year, in the Majors now that the minor league season is over? Long can play 1B, 3B & LF.

    Carlos Perez also needs to be in the Majors. he can play C, 1B & LF.

    Justin Turner & Carlos Santana need to retire as players & then be hired as coaches & mentors.

    Willi Castro also sucks & needs to be designated for assignment.
