3 errors? you should lose. oh well.
Why did I watch Jose Fermin try to bunt? Lol might as well use VS2 for that
Walker is not just going to suddenly become good
Officially eliminated on a bunt…. Not sure how I feel about that.
What a disappointing ending.
I only hurt myself, though. I shouldn’t have raised my expectations and given myself hope after such a mid season.
That Walker error haunts me.
Sweeps r hard
nice pinch-hit bunt …wtf
Get Walker off the fuckin team. Don’t even let him finish the season. We all saw the interview. Get his bum ass out of the city.
Eliminated just like that
Well now we can tear it all down and start over
I just wanna say im not bad at the bunt. So many time when fuckers cant hit I say, at least fucking bunt and guarantee putting it in play. Thats rxactly what he did, maybe not the best time to but shit and least it wasnt a fucking pop up
Walker cost us this game. Brutal.
Are there legs to that rumor that Walker is hard to coach and just kinda doesn’t give af? Because I feel for him with his struggles if not, but if so, man’s gotta go.
Silver lining here; we 100% will not give the cubs the satisfaction of officially eliminating us from the postseason race
No miracle. I guess I shouldn’t have expected one.
I want a new manager. Not that I think Oli is bad. I just want to be excited about change for the sake of change.
Better luck next year. Now, I just have to root against the Cubs.
Scott dives for a ball and they let Walker hit then bunt with Fermin. Okay, that sounds about right lmao
Does this eliminate the Cards from the post season?
Honestly I’d rather see Walker turn into Aaron Judge II for another team than watch him make a complete ass out of himself 6 nights a week here.
Lottery pick! Lottery pick!
On the bright side I really did enjoy the first two games of this series. I’m very excited to see what Herrera, Burleson, and Winn can do next season. Hopefully Bloom can turn things around somewhat
Should’ve had Walker bunt and instead he hits into a double play. Then Fermin tries to bunt with 2 outs to end the game. Should’ve just left Scott in if the plan was to bunt at the end. At least he might beat it out.
Just frustrating to watch. I figured it was a long shot for us to make the playoffs, but the Mets and Reds lost tonight and the Diamondbacks are losing as we speak. The sweep would’ve been helpful and given us a chance going into this weekend.
Honestly, I’m shocked we got that close considering Fedde, Mikolas, and Pallante were liabilities in most of their starts. Gotta get some better pitchers for next year and beyond.
Andrew Knizner eliminates the 2025 Cardinals
Walker has shades of O’Hearn from the Royals. Sucked for years, goes to the Orioles and looks great. Now with the playoff Padres. Ugh.
Knowing it’s gonna be a bad season going in doesn’t mean it’s not frustrating when it happens…
I can’t believe we still had a mathematical chance to make the playoffs this late into the season.
I think now we should all want what is best… for me. That is three more games where we score 6 so I can get discounted drinks at Mobil On the Run.
