  1. A much-needed laugher after that scarring loss yesterday.

One of those games where seemingly everyone chipped in.

  2. A nice stress free win after last night’s collapse was exactly what the doctor ordered. With the Padres loss today, we clinch home field in the wild card round with either two wins or a win and another Padres loss. Should be doable.

  3. The offense has finally scored some runs the last 2 games. Nice bounce back outing from Boyd and good to see Palencia back

  4. Great win…BIG win to make it 2.5 games up. Let’s win tomorrow and hope to clinch the top spot

  5. The ESPN broadcast just has to be better, man. Watch Ken Burns’ Baseball series and accept that our beautiful game should be shown like this. Lock in.

  6. Good recovery, just need to win 2 of 4 to get a home WC series. Hopefully the Diamondbacks can make it even easier

  7. any perennial Cubs doomsdayers should have a quick read over at r/motorcitykitties and be thankful that we’re not them right now

  8. Cubs can clinch top WC spot by Friday afternoon. That would be before the Padres even play another game.

  9. Have they updated the news about Horton yet? Patiently waiting for Craig’s postcame interview. He said pregame they would have the results around game time

  10. Nothing against Seiya, but with a healthy Tucker I think you have to sit him against righties for Moises. Mo Balls ABs have been the best on the team for the last while

  11. Maybe the Cubs are getting their stuff back together again, just in the nick of time.

Detroit has apparently blown a 15 game division lead!
