Seriously, Cowboys got reinforcements coming back. Listen, I know we all want, shout out to my brother, Boss Cowboy, and everybody over at the DC Universe. We want the Cowboys to get aggressive and go after some players. We do. You know what I’m saying? I’m not opposed to to trading a pick or two to reinforce this team. But before we do that, I think the team has to show the front office that it’s worth it. We are teeter tottering right now. At one and two, it’s like, ah, we could lose the season cuz the momentum could really be out of us. We lose two games in a row, it might be a wrap. One and four is like a death sentence. So, they’re not trading any picks until they feel like it’s worth it. Seriously. we come out of the next three weeks and we we we we three and three, right? If we three and three, you know what I’m saying? Maybe I don’t even think three and three at bare minimum. Three and three or better, right? Four and two would be phenomenal, but three and three, I think they’ll be like, we might need something. I think they’ll go after something, but they need to see some effort from the present players, and that’s up to them. If they want this team to be improved, it’s up to them. And with the reinforcements coming back, we might get some of that improvement because we are we’re playing with our arm strap behind our back. Let’s not front. Not having CD Lamb, Tyler Booker, Cooper, BB is a lot. Let’s just keep it real. It’s a lot. It’s not easy going and we’re going against one of the best defenses in the NFL presently and one of the better teams. It’s like like I hate to say it too, but it’s real, you know. But getting Java Clowney not back, but for the first time should help. We haven’t been able to generate no pressures really. No pressures really. Um, no sacks really. Just our edge room and defensive pass rushes just look so poorest. And I’m going to be the first one to tell you Java Clowney is not your savior. He is not Micah Parsons. He’s been saying that. I’m going to tell you that. Fine. But Jadeon Clowney hopefully is what I thought Dante Fowler was. A professional pass rusher. very disappointed in Dante Fowler, but that’s a story for another day. But I think that DaVon Clowney can give us some type of a spark, some type of I’ve done this before. I can get to the quarterback if I need to. You can’t block me just one-on-one every time. My experience, quickness, strength, still I can still get the job done. I watched Brandon Graham playing until he was 35. So, it’s not age, you know, it’s possible. It’s all about the work he’s put in and what he’s still got left in the tank. I’m hoping he still got something left in the tank. Still ain’t Micah, but I think he can help. So, him coming back is perfect. Um, the way our secondary been looking, anybody can help. I can run out there and give us some help. So, Don Bland being back out there is a godsend. Even if he can’t stop anybody from making catches, can you stop him just scoring touchdowns? Like, I got really low expectations. The bar is set low. Please don’t let them just throw deep on us all game. So Don Bland coming back is important because listen over the last what 700 plus yards eight touchdowns I think. I think I’m wrong but it might be more. Um might be 800 yards something crazy in the last two games. We got to tighten up y’all. We got to tighten up. We at K we we kingmakers now. Everybody’s acting like Caleb Williams is that dude again. All because he went up against the Cowboys. You know what I’m saying? He going to get humbled again soon. Um, we should have did the humbling, but that’s neither here nor there. Um, John Owning actually put up a great graphic. I would like for y’all to go tap into this. I I’ll put it on the screen. It’s just some small changes that if we did all these things, um, increasing the blitz, um, making a couple personnel changes like, you know, bringing in Clowny, um, Bland, etc., it should should improve this team’s defense to average. Can we get to average? That’s all I’m looking for cuz it it I think the great defense that ship sailed. I’m trying to creep towards average and not worse in the league. It’s only one other team that’s looking as bad as us right now and it’s the Ravens. The Ravens defense look bad, too. I’m like, “Oh, Lamar Jackson feeling what Dak feel like. Go out there and ball out and your defense let you down. Welcome to reality, Lamar. It’s crazy, right?” Um anyway, you know what I’m saying? So Don Blanch and Damen Cloudy should help make this defense better as well as what Shotti was saying. We going to see if he going to keep a be a man of his word. He backed up what he said the other day. Changes are coming. So I want to see cuz if we run back out there with the same exact team except Clowny and Bland, you you going to start to look real funny and light. You can’t say you’re going to make changes and then I because I I kind of need to see Diamond Wilson sat down. I do. Maybe Malik Hooker too, but I need to see some switches, man. I do. So, I need to see something, man. And at linebacker, where’s Shamar Shamar James at? My fault. Shear James need to be out there. You know, Maris Leile, we need to move some things around things that maybe change the edge rotation. Looking at Aaron White Cotton cuz what the way you was talking in the preseason and leading up to this season, I ain’t seeing it. This Dline look bad. this on Aaron White Cotton. That’s your unit. But anyway, um lastly, um we worked out three guards or we’re going to be working out three guards. Um forgive me. Um trying to figure out who’s going to replace Tyler Booker because of the ankle sprain. Um TJ Bass, I think, will get to start, but he’s going to get some work. We got Trevor Keegan, the guard we scooped up from the Eagles. Um he’s going to get some work. We’re going to see if he can um fill in a little bit for him. And Aake Adeny is going to get some work at that right guard. trying to figure out who can fit best. Um, I even like the suggestion that that Votch and Brian Bris had. Put Nate Thomas over there because he’s powerful. Danny came into the league as a guard. But do something. Please don’t let this offensive line. We need all the help we can get. All hands on deck. But I would love for y’all to let me know how y’all feel in the comments about reinforcements coming, mainly Blandon and Clowny. Um, will it help? Will we at least look serviceable this week? And do me another favor in the comments. What will we hold the Packers to? Not win or loss. Just points-wise, what can the defense hold them to this week? We got 40 or something like that.
