Tub lead it off followed by Isach Parades. Carlos Korea Walker hitting clean up. Then it’s Sanchez Diaz Meyers Cole and Orius ready to roll here in Sacramento. First pitch missing from Luis Seabberino. Well, he was the first one to realize it was raining tonight. Very true. A walk here off the full count as Jos Altbe. Four to six weeks. Joe Spot knows what’s at stake and Jacob Wilson eating that ball up and turning it into a double play. Well, how about the quick reaction from Jacob Wilson able to go down and get his eyes on the same level of the baseball your younger starters. And that right there is the key. That’s strike three. and Kurts with the ground ball on the left side. Backhanded across the diamond and Orius two to Soderstrom to center field charging as Jake Meyers will leave his feet and make the catch. Brooker with two outs. Brooker swings to the first pitch. Shopped to third. Orius busy over there. He’ll make the play connecting with the tag from Christian Walker. Well, that has left a few bruises. missed and this gets out to Jacob Wilson. Here’s the O2 ground ball to Jacob Wilson and over to Curts Tugan down to the bullpin blocking baseballs. This one in the air to center. Lawrence Butler over towards left to make the catch. Brings it back over that corner. Here’s the payoff pitch from Hunter Brown in strike three. That’s not going to make Jacob Wilson happy and K as well. [Applause] That team has at their disposal and the decision they have to make one to Butler. Broken back ground ball backhanded by Kareah. Second out. You know how far that can take you. Ground ball to Koreah. Three up, three down inning for Hunter Brown and the Astros. We’ll move to the third. Isn’t Nick Curts works the walk in they used to have a part of the magazine during a time of year where suspect side of things and I make sure to text him that there’s a ground ball on the left side. Korea is going to get to it but won’t have a play above 280 here over the next couple of games before the end of the season. And that will help a fair ball down the third base line into left field. Here comes the first score of the game and Nick Curts. A stop sign for Shay Langalers and he’ll have to get back to third. He’ll check Burker went around. So strikeout will end it. Three strikeouts in the inning for Hunter Brown. [Applause] win. Myers sends this one out to left field. Sodstrom jogging in for the catch and Brett Harris will reach up and make the catch. Yeah, here’s the 3-2. That’s going to get through. Base hit. Brett Harris and bobbled out in left. He’ll head to second. Harris will slide in there but didn’t need to. Throw wasn’t in time into scoring position with one with an extra long look at Harris before delivering. And indeed it will be in the dirt and ball four. [Applause] One shot into right field and that’s going to land down. Here comes the run. Brett Harris in and a stop sign after it bounced over the wall for a ground rule double. Thumbs up from the dugout for Langalers with a hard hit ball into left. Hurts coming home. Eric Martins waving around Shay Langers. And after bottling it in left field, easy in 4 nothing Athletics. Wilson pops this up. skyhigh on the right side. Jos Altve with the catch. Three runs come across for the Athletics. He’s built on their one- nothing lead in the bottom of the fifth, scoring three runs on the ground to Brett Harris. This team together fighting it out and they’re trying to have fun finishing it. This one is going to be in the glove of Schuman. Pitch again. It’ll get Parades to strike out swinging. That’ll take care of business. Handful of strikeouts. Listed in the air out to right field. On the move is Zack Cole and he’s going to reach up and make the catch at about 30. Max Schuman puts a swing on one to left and it’ll be a line out over the month of September. will be Thomas will strike out. Six innings for him there. Didn’t a run off three hits. This one’s in the air. Traveling a ways back towards last right before the wall. Tyler Soderstrom will make the grab. The beard rocket now lifted in the air for Christian Walker to center field going back and can’t make the catch for Lawrence Butler. That’ll bounce into the bullpen and Walker will find himself on second. Joe was spotted lifting the lefty Jesus Sanchez on the ground to Harris. He’ll check the runner over to first two outs. You know that you’re want to play spoilers. A late swing and a miss. Logan Harris spoiled any chances and left a runner in scoring position for the Brent Harris. And a line shot right to third base. Blunt down and over to first. They will make the out. [Applause] Getting the job done. Able to knock. Chase had a night. Three for three. A couple of infield singles in this one into left field. Shay adding a homer. 5 nothing Athletics. And that is home run 31 for the A’s catcher. And through the rain he has brought the pain. [Music] A missile off the brick facade. Maybe not done yet. Tyler Sodrom out to right. Back to backs. Six nothing A’s and Sodrom getting the number 25. [Applause] Those backto-back years in 1929 and 1930. I know you quite weren’t around yet. Out to right field, Brent Rooker takes the final out. I didn’t even know if you’d add the word hopeful on there. To center field for Jake Myers. Charging in is Lawrence Butler for the catch. I’m not sure that there is a more valuable player. Mauricio Dubons. The pinch hitter and the fly ball to left field will make it two outs. their seventh consecutive win against their American League West foes tonight. That’s strike three. Not one infielder looked like they had any interest in going after it towards center field for Jacob Wilson giving it a ride, but it’ll end up in the glove of Myers of their division and even just trying to hold on to a wild card spot in the air for Lawrence Butler to right field and a catch for Smith. Champagne on ice maybe for the green and gold. Swinging a miss for Thomas and that will end the eighth. Doubling that number. The catcher position. He saw Parades in the air to left. Soderstrom will reach up and make the grab [Applause] into right on the move. Colby Thomas and Koreah is going to head to second. This will be the ground rule double [Applause] payoff pitch to a swing and a miss. Alvarado gets the job done against Christian Walker. Here’s the pitch. Strike three. Karatini caught looking and Elvis Alvarado able to slam the door. A shut out victory for the A’s tonight as they take the series over the Astros. And that is now seven straight wins.

LOL, If Astros going to lose this tomorrow, THERE WILL BE NO PLAYOFFS!!
They're still calling them the Oakland athletes?!
The Astros missing the playoffs would be absolute cinema 😂
The A's had that one bad stint about 1/3 of the way through the season that screwed their record up the rest of the way. I'd put this team up against any of the so-called 'power house' teams (Brewers, Dodgers, etc…) right now. Teams are lucky the A's didn't make it to the playoffs this year.
De zamba Santiago Rodríguez para el mundo ❤alvarado
As a tigers fan seeing us, Mets and Astros all crashout yet again tonight is comical lmao honestly don't know who's worse at this point
Are the Oakland athletics going too the playoffs lmfao
Vamos mariners lettttsss gooooo
Fortunately we beat the trade deadline and got Sanchez because apparently we needed a left-hand batter. Phew! to think we could have missed out on seeing him miss catches and fumble and only occasionally get a hit.
Absolutely embarrassing !!!!
Still no Cleveland game two days in a row is crazy
How do they claim it's a homerun if it hits the wall and bounces back in??!!!!
I think my Astros will be in the playoffs and plus in general two teams from the division do make the playoffs if I'm not mistaken
