AR was torching them too until he couldn’t stay upright.
Such a goofy quote because that was shaping up to be Richardson’s best game of his career. Shane Steichen simply rips that Steelers defense to shreds every time he plays them
It’s a weird flex, AR was cutting them up on the few plays he had before going down. He had ~100 yards and 3/4 passing on limited snaps.
Kinda makes the Steelers look like scrubs tbh.
I think we beat the Steelers with AR. Mike Tomlin hasn’t been great since he lost Big Ben.
He was cooking them. It’s weird colts fans are trying to post this to shade AR and it’s not even valid.
I’m honestly kinda shocked he even said it. But I appreciate the honesty. You can always count on Tomlin to give a brutally honest answer…so maybe I shouldn’t be surprised
I feel like this comment is getting a little bit over analyzed. I think the context is talking about how competent and efficient Flacco is, and using this as an example where he would rather face a highly inconsistent QB than a guy who can execute consistently and competently like Flacco.
Yes, it’s kind of a hilarious stray for AR to be catching, but I also think that people are making the quote out to be a bit more than it really was.
AR has so many res flags but too many people here are emotionally invested in a bust
It’s incredible the standard Richardson gets held to and the falsehoods people will enact just to act like Richardson is better than he actually was.
“BUT FOR 1 DRIVE!!!!!”
Then how come he barely outplayed mediocre QBs like Caleb, Huntley and Rudolph in games he started and finished that year? He couldn’t even outplay Malik freakin’ Willis.
He’s regressed so bad and a lot of you need to stop living in denial
