Cincinnati Bengals vs Denver Broncos Prediction | NFL Week 4 Picks | 9/29/25

Next up for us, our final spot on the week four card, 8:15 p.m. Eastern, Cincinnati Bengals 2 and one, one and one on the road at the Denver Broncos, one and two, one and0 at home. Empire Field at mile high Denver, Colorado 74 Fahrenheit, partly cloudy, 4 mph winds. Going to the line history for this one, we have the exact same 44 that we’ve been talking about throughout today’s show. It seems the look ahead was 44 and a half. It opens up Sunday night at 45 and a half and it drops to 44. So it’s a point and a half drop since it came out on Sunday night. Pretty big drop towards the under. On the spread we have Denver minus 7 at minus 118. The look ahead was six. Comes out on Sunday night at 7 and a half flat 7 and a half. At that point the action came in on the Bengals. You can still find seven and a halfs. You know, you can still find sevens if you wanted. Denver minus 7, you get it -18. And and there’s other books that are minus 113, minus 115s. So, you can still get it. We get to the cash flow here. We’ll probably have to look at a couple different spots. Uh here we have 65% of the ticket, 78% cash on Denver. And then we’ll have to go over to action to get more info. Here the action is telling us that that 43% of the tickets and 86% cash on the Broncos. 70% tickets, 66% of cash on the under. Jim Dwiger looking at Cincinnati plus seven. Fireside looking at the under and says Broncos by 20. Bengals coming off a disastrous 48-10 loss at Minnesota. Offense only managed 171 total yards. Browning was 19 and 27 for 140 yards, touchdown, two picks. Both interceptions were returned for touchdowns by Isaiah Rogers. Burrow will be out for three months. His injury could be season ending. Sucks. Jamar Chase caught five passes for 50 yards. At least I don’t have futures on them because this is the second year in a row I haven’t had futures on the Bengals. And may I live the rest of my life without futures on the Bengals because I’ve it’s cost me in the past. I obviously you can imagine what Joe Burrow and Jamar Chase and Trey Hendrickson are capable of. Chase caught five passes for 50 yards. He’s not going to be happy this year. He also ran once for nine yards lo and lost a fumble. The Bengals could get nothing from their run game. What the hell happened to Chase Brown? 10 carries for three yards. Bengals got 53 yards on 21 rushes. So through three games this year, listen to this. This is horrific. Through three games, the Bengals have run 61 times for 147 yards. Horrible. Three of 11 on third down, one red zone opportunity. Pass rush finished with three sacks, five quarterback hits, but the defense could get no stops. They allowed Carson Wentz to go four or five in the red zone. Sami Perine left in the second quarter. He fumbled. So it was a third consecutive Bengals possession. They lost a fumble and they said he escaped serious injury. He hasn’t been ruled out yet. Then tight end Noah Fant had the ball ripped out of had the ball ripped out of his hands by Rogers. Set up a second return. He entered concussion protocol. Left guard Dalton Rristner missed timed to an injury and he supposedly Taylor said he could have come back in but it was just the score was out of whack. So they didn’t bother bringing him back. And then they didn’t have Cam Taylor Britt who had the hamstring injuries. This is questionable. And they didn’t have defensive end Stewart who’s dealing with ankle injury. They were both inactive. Broncos coming off their second straight last second loss. 23-20 to the Chargers at SoFi. The offense put up 5.5 yards per play and only had nine first downs. How the hell does that happen? 5.5 yards per play and nine first downs. They went two of 13 on third down. That begins explaining it. Bo Nicks was 14 and 25 for 153 yards and a touchdown. Courtland Sutton caught six for 118 a touchdown. Rest of the team had eight catches for 35 yards. That’s it. JK Dobbins ran 11 times for 83 yards touchdown against his former team. The Chargers got what they needed uh to in the most important moments of the game. Chargers finished with 376 yards, eight of 17 on third down. The defense did strengthen in the red zone. They held the Chargers to just one of three. The pass rush applied pressure all night. Five sacks, 14 quarterback hits. Brandon Jones had an interception. So, are the Broncos a powder keg type spot that you know will explode here? What did you need to see? Do you need to see a seven and a half or an eight? Is this the double result that the other seven point favorites haven’t interested in us haven’t interested us in? Take it away, Troy, my friend. Bengals Broncos. This market is very similar to how I viewed the Seahawks market. I am good with this number at seven. I am good with six and a half. I’ll start getting heavily concerned if we start seeing sixes in the market and I doubt we ever get there. But at seven, I like it. I like it. This is a case where I would prefer to bet the seven than the seven and a half. And now a double result does make a lot of sense. This is the powder keg in my opinion. Broncos coming off back-to-back losses. One and two on the season. Bengals are two- one but should be 0 and three. Broncos are six and one ATS, 7-0 straight up as home favorites with Bo Knicks covering big numbers in that sample. The Broncos offensive line will dominate the Bengals defensive front. Everyone but Hendrickson on the defensive front is grading out in the bottom 10%. And on the vice versa, the Broncos Dline will dominate the Bengals offensive line. The only player on the offensive line that has a grade above average is Orlando Brown. The Bengals are going to be onedimensional in this football game because they cannot run the football. the worst run block run blocking grade in the past five years. Uh they’re 32nd in the NFL and Jake Browning is much better suited verse zone coverage. He’s going to be getting a lot of man coverage and a lot of pressure and his offensive line is grading out 26th in the pass blocking category. I think the Bengals have a bad offensive scheme, a lingering cancer and a pretty shitty backup quarterback in my opinion. I am looking. I have not bet it yet, but I’m looking to back the Broncos and I’m just trying to figure out the best way to do it. Obviously, I’m going to probably pair. There’s just so many options with these favorites, you know, with teasers. I I’m trying to to slam on the brakes a little bit because I just want to parlay all these teams money line and all all this stuff. I’m just trying to I just want to be more calculated with what I’m going to do before I move. But Broncos double result might be something I can move on tonight. So, the Bengals just get completely annihilated and obviously that’s not the spot you want to fade them the next week. Is that part of your hesitancy? Is that we just lost watched them lose by 38 or the fact that the Broncos had lost twice in a row on the last second of the game? Does that trump all that? That’s trump that’s what’s trumping all that. That’s exactly how I feel about it. the Broncos losing those two games in both games that they could have easily won, coming home like you call them. I’m using that term quite frequently lately, the powder keg. I love it. Um I think they are a powder cake this week and I think they’re going to deliver an ass whooping to this Bengals team. So tell me about this. 35% of the tickets have come in on the Bengals. What is that angle that Nicks is a is is not mentally there? We had Mel come in, you know, Mel from Denver, sports capper from Denver, and she said, “If you’re going to talk about anybody being trash, the person you talk about is Boone Knicks.” Bo Nicks has been terrible. I’ve been talking about that. That if anything, that’s my hesitancy is Bo Nicks. And I think that uh our guy Payton is not catering to him right now. So, so that would be the angle for the 35% of tickets that have come in on the Bengals because that’s not it’s just not dumb money. We know that on like six days before the game, seven days before the game backing a team that just lost 48-10. Yeah. So they’re saying that they’re saying it’s simple here that that Bon Knick should not be this big of favorite. He’s seeing ghosts. Yeah, that’s the angle. It’s fading Bicks in this Broncos offense. And Courtland Sutton being the only viable option that we’re seeing. I mean, we have a a Broncos team that Courtland Sutton caught six passes for 118 yards and a touchdown. The rest of the team had eight catches for 35 yards. So, is that is that enough to get you not to bet the Broncos at minus 7. That’s not enough. I’m going to be on the Broncos. I’m going to be on the Broncos. I’m going to put it all behind me. I think this Bengals defense is horrendous. I think the offensive line is horrendous. I think Browning is horrendous. I don’t like betting favorites, but this is one I’m going to have to be on. And there’s Mel. She says, “Don’t overthink it. Packers Broncos teaser. Tease them both to minus one. Boicks is terrible, but the Bengals are worse from our friend Mel.” Well, I guess the Broncos double result needs to be bet. I’m just trying to figure out if I should also be on the minus 7. It’s a pretty uh I mean these are the spotlight games Sunday night, Monday night. You really got to treat us like that. Spenny says it’s one game and they get an awful Bengals defense they will throw around on Cincy. Okay. Well, I I guess the I guess I probably want the Broncos double result in my pocket. It’s not that expensive. It’s more expensive than all the other sevens. Fireside says, “The issue with the pack is they are on the road as big favorites. I pump the brakes out of division. Maybe I’m overthinking it.” Well, there’s still a lot of work to do, which is part of the fun. It is part of the fun here uh that uh this is the base and then we attack. I always make a lot of bets tonight. I’m going to do that, but I’m gonna save a lot more to
