If this is our backup C in this depleted market, Pat did a good job by bringing back mini Bam. Welcome back Achuiwa πŸ‘πŸΎ

  1. I think the idea is to get someone in here that we don’t have to completely change the defensive schemes to have on the court. They’ve been looking for a Bam like backup for years.

  2. He’s a 4-5 who may not see the floor much at all if Ware and Bam are healthy. I thought it was a great pick up and a great bargain.

  3. Idk, the fact that in a depleted market no one cared to sign him but us RIGHT before training camp..I don’t see what good job he did. He signed a tertiary bench player. πŸ€·πŸ»β€β™‚οΈ

  4. He’s really made some great strides since leaving the team. Excited to see what he can do with our second team. He moves a lot quicker, has more sense of urgency on the drive, and can hit an open jumper when we need it. All things I feel like he was severely lacking before. Even if we don’t win a ton of games this season, I’m looking forward to watching what they put together. If nothing else, it should be pretty fun.

  5. I mean we shifted bam away from center to power forward because he was getting too much wear and tear and wasn’t too effective…. though there is some worth in a guy who knows the system played here etc. I expect it to be solid but that’s about it. Still feel as tho Thomas Bryant would’ve been better pickup. he was Indianas primary backup center for most of the year and can stretch the floor. He also has the size and hustle to compete on defensive end. We could’ve staggered bam with Bryant so as to maximize Jovic + ware minutes too. but its whatever.
