Lil breakdown of the brewers hitting numbers recently.

  1. I mignt get downvoted but i think i am right to be worried. This team is streaky and right now we are streaky losing. Not sounding an alarm but they need to wake up now over this last series against a team fighting to get in. Rest guys sure, but show fight while you do so.

  2. This seems like just random noise to me. Hitting with runners in scoring position is just always all over the place. If you look at that list again we are one of the lowest teams in baseball for BABIP in that time frame with RISP. These are the type of stats that tend to drive wins and losses more because of variance than because of anything meaningful. I bet if you look at the previous 35 game stretch it will look exactly the opposite of this.

  3. Tbh whether they go into the playoffs hot or cold is somewhat irrelevant. They’re going to have 4 days off before game 1, so it’s more a matter of just resting up and locking in to be ready when that time comes. I think this recent slump honestly has way less significance to the players themselves than us as fans

  4. Mariners and Guardians are super hot but they’re both in the AL. There aren’t any really super hot teams in the NL right now. The Phillies were rolling but now they’ve cooled off too.

  5. I’m a Wisconsin Sports fan I’ve grown numb to big let downs come post seasons. So it doesn’t hurt anymore when it happens

  6. They are still hitting the ball hard, but it seems to be resulting in more outs than mid-season. Are the other teams doing a better job with defensive shifts by batter now with a greater pool of data from the full season? They are really often losing games because of one extra walk (that gets around or extends an inning) and one missing hit with RISP (that ends up being the difference in final score). Are they cooler than August? Sure. But like, just a little bit of added mojo can put this team over the top.

  7. I think there’s been a ton of adjustments to the lineup lately, balancing rest with needing to eek out a couple of wins. I don’t like backing into the playoffs, but I also feel like Murph has a few tricks up his sleeve and trust that he knows what hes doing.

Just need that spark to happen again and this team is really unstoppable.
