Royals vs. Angels Game Highlights (9/25/25) | MLB Highlights
Mitch Ferris in his big league debut was great at Coffman Stadium back on September the 2nd and slowly but surely the league is catching up to them. Well, four starts of course the first two were great. The last two not so much. Mike Elazison with a game opening walk. Bobby had a good game on Tuesday night. Two hits, two RBI’s and a run scored. Went with a fly ball. Let’s see if this one stays in play. It’s Guzman and Marcata. It’s Marcado casually making the base. Play under control all the way over there. Nice play. Anytime you get Bobby Wit out, that’s important. Look at Bobby Wit. 73 extra base hits this season. Just casual. Yeah, I’ll make that play in front of you. Just say hi. Runner on first with one out for Vinnie Pascantino. Pasquantino launches it deep to right field. Adele’s to the track. He looks up and it’s gone. The first inning two-run homer for Vinnie Pasquentino. And the Royals have an early lead tonight in Anaheim. Big year for Pasquantino. A career year in many regards. When he went down, he kept his head down on that baseball really well and lifted that one out. Perez does have 30 home runs this year. He’s driven in 97. Looking for his third career 100 RBI year. Here’s the pitch. And that is a wave and a miss. And that was a good change up there. And that one really pooled Salvi Perez. struck him out with the Angels winning 3-2. The Royals won on Tuesday night 84. The payoff delivery. This is hit well into center field. Going after it is Teodosio has a beat on it. He’ll make the catch a few feet from the rim of the tracks. Former Angel Mike Lorenzo. Yeah, he was 8 and six when you go back a couple seasons ago with Halos and 18 starts, 424. Got the opportunity to be a starter again. Called third strike. Seanell didn’t like it. He did not. That brings up Mike Trout to a nice ovation at Angel Stadium. And Trout takes a call. Third strike and he’s upset. Well, really testing that theory that Trout never argues. He did not like that call. Didn’t say much, but you could see his demeanor as he heads back to the bench. Lorenzan is coming off a really good start. And that was last Friday. And that’s in there. Called strike three. A slider at the knees. Michael Lorenzan strikes out the side in the bottom of the first and every angel went down looking and the Royals were hoping to finish the year above 500. Joe Adell leads off the bottom of the second inning. Lifts this one in the air into center field. It’s hit well in dead center. Out by the wall, jumping up. It’s out of here. A home run. Angels in the outfield are pretty psyched about that. dead center field now just three RBI’s away from 137 as he takes over the lead now home run passing Taylor Ward Joe Adele crush that one to center seen Taylor play a lot since coming back from the injured list he’s filled in here and there wow strike three definitely below the strike zone there thought that was ball four he was halfway to first before realizing that was a cold third strike that was definitely not a strike Here’s a liner base hit for Logan O’Hy. That ball smashed through the infield. Another well hit baseball on the first pitch thrown by Lorenzan. You don’t want to get into a two strike count. You better be up there. Here’s the pitch and that one is low. It skips off the glove of the catcher Jensen. And easily moving up to second base on what will be scored. A wild pitch. Oh, Hoppy now at second. The hit could bring him in and tie up this ball game. Swung out and miss. Strike three. Got him with an elevated fast ball. Five Ks for Lorenzan tonight. Two gone in the bottom of the second. That brings up Dener Guzman. Hits this ball sharply. It’s stopped by Wit. A dive and he was unable to pick the ball up cleanly. And Guzman to reach first. But he saved the run on that. I don’t know. Showing his range as a pitcher on the mound. You’re you’re you’re appreciative of that. You love the out, but he saved the run. That ball was hit hard. 106 mph off the bat. how quick those reflexes were trying to get up, unable to get the handle of the baseball on the transfer, but he does save a run. Played an excellent defensive center field. We’ll see how the Angels pair that out for next year. And Theodosio skies it straight away right field. Jack Kagleons underneath it. He reaches up and makes a one-hand catch. Teodosio’s out and that ends the inning. Walked his first time, scored on Pascino’s two-run homer. Angels got one back in the bottom of the second on the home run by Joe Adal. His 37th of the year. Mike Helzon for a second time tonight. He has 176 hits, five away from the injured Bo Bashette for the major league lead. Off the end of the bat and that’s down, Garcia Reddit and he’s going to make the turn. And with one out, the Royals have runners at first and third. That is the approach it’s going to take for the Royals hitters to get back to what they did last season in 2024. Batting with runners in scoring position, extend the innings. More down to second. Back to first. Close but out for now. Vinnie did not react. And Q is going to challenge. Kansas City is challenging the out call at first base. That looks like he’s safe. We don’t know when this is the better angle. When does the ball make contact with the interior part of the glove? I think he’s safe. It looks safe. Good hustle by Vinnie coming down the line. After review, the call on the field is overturned. The runner is safe. Kansas City will retain their away Duper. Oh, makes it possible. Vinnie getting out of the box aggressively. You see the head down? He wanted. He could smell that RBI. A little bit of a wse as he went through the bag, but well worth it for him and for the team. Royals three, Angels one. Got to keep an eye on him at second base. So what a dangerous hitter at the plate now. Line down the third baseline goes off Locat’s glove and carams down the left field line toward the corner. Bobby W Jr. gets to second. He’s got a one out RBI double. He scorched it down the line. He put the hot and hot corner and Monata could not get the webbing around it. Michael Lorenzan has gotten 24 runs of support over his last two starts. Junior moves toward the middle, sets his feet, and throws in time. How’s he mixed it up tonight? Well, a little heavier on the sinker. Last start, he threw 22% cutters. Tonight, only 1.6% cutters. So, and there is strikeout number nine. Guzman goes down and that ties Lorenzan’s career best from 2022 against the Phillies. line toward short stop right at Bobby Whit Jr. He gloves it chest high that ends the inning. Michael Lorenzan has retired 10 consecutive batters. Michael Lorenzan has been really tough tonight. He’s set down the last 10 in a row. Shottwell’s 0 for two. There’s a liner out to right and Shawell jumps on the express and sends one out. His 12th home run. Showell with his first hit in this series and that is home run number 12 of the year and it cuts the Royals lead to two. It’s 4-2 Kansas City. Angels pitching coach Barry Enright is coming out and they’re going to get ready for Adam Frasier. So, Adam Frasier, who had a two-run double and two hits in the game on Tuesday, feathered to the left side of the infield, and the throw is late. And Frasier gets an RBI infield hit to score Bobby Wit Jr. Well, there you go. There’s the feather you’ve been looking for. Put it in your cap. Nice job right there. Back door breaking ball. Just a put it in play. Let his speed do the work here. One of the big time hits in his career versus Kansas City. There’s the liner center field. It’s hit well. Wave is back at the wall. Gone. It’s 401. Going to start a new countdown to 500. Mike Trout hits a laser at a straightaway center. Another home run for the 4001st time in his career. That’s vintage Trout and Window. This a 22° launch angle. the premier power hitter of a generation. How about another big swing? Back goes Adele all the way back and it hits the score three. Let’s go. El Capitan breaks the game open and reaches 100 RBI’s. Look at that. Needed three of them. Got them all on one big swing tonight. He thought he might have got it too. Marine Layer got him but still able to cash in three. And there’s a base hit into right center. Here comes Salvi around third. And the Royals score four in the ninth inning. Damage with two outs right here. Slider trying to go in below the barrel to Yansky. Doesn’t get it there. And these Royals hitters have made him pay for it. Big time hits with two outs. Runners in scoring position. We saw it on Tuesday. We’re seeing it again tonight. So the Angels are down to their final out in this ball game. And it’s chopped out to Junior. And Abila gets the job done in the bottom of the ninth inning. The Angels go down in order.

Angels lost and I’m a Dodgers fan but I will be forever grateful for that Mike Trout HR i was there to see tonight
Bobby Witt Jr and Mike Trout. What a Match up!
The ump definitely made some questionable calls in this game
Trout homer 🔥
I miss ohtani
I prefer the "Small Ball" Halos better. Top four in total Homeruns is nice, but it doesn't win games. Oh well.. at least unlike MANY other teams the Royals didn't take the Season Series.
Look at the size of the crowd…
Mike Trout chose to play here. Some people like to glorify that as “loyalty,” but think about it: if you’re talented, and the CEO of the company that first hired you is incompetent, and the whole organization is rotten, yet you still pledge loyalty to that company—there’s nothing noble about that. That’s just what people call being an idiot.
The Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim, Huntington Beach and Knotts Berry Farm can't even outdo the Oakland A's of Sacramento & Las Vegas.
😀😃😄😂😁😆
Hard to believe a team with Trout and Ohtani never even sniffed the playoffs. Trout's a class act. Think of what his numbers might have been had he been healthier. It's a shame he never got a ring.
