So would you just not have TNF the first 4 weeks of the year and not the last how ever many year of the season? So I’ve always thought there should be a game on Friday’s
I wonder if they don’t do this because the players union wouldn’t want it? I could imagine some players really appreciate having that extra few days on their bye week. I’m not sure I’d want my day break to be consistently cut short.
Idk about that, but I’d argue it’s physically unfair to the players.
What the NFL hasn’t realized is that you could also have the first two weeks with TNF too. Week 1 doesn’t count because everyone is “coming off a bye” and now that they have the Friday night game, you just have two teams play from the TNF and Friday night game for week 2. Then you have weeks 3-5 without TNF, and you roll it out again for week 6 to week 15. That’s still 12 total TNF games. By week 16, teams shouldn’t have such short weeks because the good teams are fighting for position and the bad teams have already given up.
Thursday Night Football should just be Jaguars-Titans every week like God intended.
Yes and overseas games should have a bye afterwards. Also probably time to evolve to 2 bye weeks

TNF is ass because they have awful teams scheduled. The games are equally shit on Sundays, you just can watch more interesting games in the same timeslots.

The Seahawks and Cardinals managed to play a game that looked less like professional football and more like a Craigslist meetup gone wrong.
