St. Louis Cardinals vs Chicago Cubs 9/26/25 MLB Pick & Prediction | MLB Betting Tips

What is going on guys? Brad here from pits.com and I got a pick in this Cardinals verse Cubs game going down on Friday, September 26, 2025. You will find all my plays there. Let’s get right into this one, guys. We got the St. Louis Cardinals headed into Chicago to play the Cubs. Cardinals are finishing up a series against the Giants. Or is that series? Yeah, actually no. The Cardinals will have Thursday off and then the Cubs will and then the Cubs still have to finish it up a series on Thursday against the Mets. I’m recording this Thursday afternoon, so I don’t know what the result of that game will be. The Cubs will stay home at Wrigley for this game, whereas the Cardinals will travel. So even though the Cardinals aren’t playing a baseball game on Thursday, they’re still traveling in Wrigley. So I don’t think there’s really going to be too much of a rest advantage. I really don’t put too much stock into the Cardinals having a day off. And I mean, this game’s pretty pointless. You know, the Cubs have locked up their spot um in the playoffs. And then the Cardinals, they’re three and a half games out of the playoffs. Like they’re not completely done. I’m pretty sure if they lose one more game, then then they’re going to be completely out. So, I guess you could say the Cardinals have something to play for. It’s going to be a really uphill battle and they’re going to need a lot of things to happen, but never say never. Miracles happen. So, I guess you could say the Cardinal, this game means something for the Cardinals. They’re rolling with Miles Mikolas. 277 erra in his last five. Not bad. Miles Mikolas has kind of went has has been a bit up and down. Um, but he’s he’s been very controlled as of late. You know, he hasn’t given up more than two earned runs in each of his last five starts. He can’t be mad at it. Looks like we do have Javier Assad on the mound for the Card or for the Cubs, sorry. Uh his last start was decent. Pitched four innings, two earn runs. He didn’t go long in that that last game against the Reds. They did lose that game, but not a terrible outing. Guys, this is kind of a game where I think it’s honestly pretty 50/50. Don’t get me wrong, the Cubs are the better team. The Cubs have been great in Wrigley, but the fact that the Cardinals actually have something to play for. Um, Miles Mikolas has been pitching good. Uh, in this spot, I rather attack the team with plus money. You know, a lot of these games I’m not going to touch here at the end of the season. Um, this is probably is going to be one of them I don’t touch, but if I had to place some bet on it, I don’t see why we don’t attack plus money with the Cardinals. I I just don’t feel like laying juice with the Cubs in this one. So, I’ll take the Cardinals on the money line. Appreciate you guys watching this. Drop a like.
