Barkov is the most respectable player on that team, wish him a short and speedy recovery. He shuts down every star in the league, such an impressive player.
Kucherov got bitched by him that whole series last year, was hard to watch.
Obviously fuck the Panthers (and the Leafs) but yeah this does suck, he’s one of the few players on that team I respect in any capacity, hope he can get back to form

Always liked Barkov even though I generally dislike the rest of the Panthers, he plays the game well and with class.
I feel for Team Finland, what a huge loss before the Olympics.
There are a ton of Panthers that I wouldn’t give a single fuck if they got injured. (Looking at you Bennett and ekblad. Y’all can get fucked)
But barkov is absolutely not one of those players. Sucks for him and I wish him a speedy, and full recovery.
Pretty devastating considering Tkachuk is also out. Zito might’ve saved their season keeping all three of Ekblad, Marchand and Bennett.
Also sucks he’s going to likely miss the Olympics.
They’ll still find a way to blame Hagel for this

It was going to be almost impossible for them to reach the finals again, but now their season is done before it evens begins. I’m not happy he’s hurt, but I’m glad bad things are happening to the Panthers.
No Tkachuk until December and no Barkov all season. Hate to see an injury but we have to take advantage early in the season.
Pretty glad the NHL got the playoff cap rule in place for this season or we’d have seen a $7-8 million AAV player traded to FL.
While I am absolutely not happy about his injury, I am a little happy to see that their incredible run of luck may finally be coming to an end. Speedy recovery
Barky is among the top of my list of favorite non Lightning players. Having said that, Florida is going to have to fight to just get into the playoffs now in our division. This might have opened our cup window more than any off season changes could have.
