  1. r/nba really has the gall to say that nobody was trying in the bubble. What the pistons did for mj,Dwight and mcgee did for jokic.not to mention that the 4 teams from 2020 conference finals were the same teams in 2023 conference finals

  2. For James and Rondo it was really about just bringing them to the moment and letting them deliver.

If they get there this year I’d expect Bron to take over again. But this line up omg

  3. lebron closeout games are always a marvel to watch. he just draining all sorts of jumpers. there is no counter to it

  4. Man I just wish the next season didnt start so soon, or they let Lebron and AD rest way more. We had imo a better team in 2021, and Lebron was playing out of his mind before his injury (36 years old being in the mvp race and DPOY race is insane).

  5. Clutch jumper after clutch jumper. Give healthy Bron a good supporting team, they’re gonna be in the finals. I know this is a era of parody, but I miss seeing that dude solo to the finals like it was nothing

  6. What a squad was that! And the year after the FO did really good (with Marc Gasol and Schroeder, although we made the huge mistake, pushed by Clutch Sports, of picking THT over Caruso) trying to continue on that route, until Solomon Hill first and AD’s groin later killed any chance of repeating (we were leading 2-1 versus the future WC champions Suns).
Then we decided to ditch the formula “two stars and depth” (that has proven, since then, being the winning one for any team), because LeBron and AD panicked when the “never happened Big 3” formed in Brooklyn and we went all in on Westbrook, filling the roster with dead veterans (Melo, Ariza, etc.).

  7. Bruhhh we was whooping everybody ass that season. Name your favorite team and I’ll say we 4-1 any of them with this 2020 team.

  8. I feel like a lot of people (maybe not Lakers fans) overlook how dominant this Lakers squad was, possibly because of the bubble or the following season’s injuries. The best playoff Lakers team we’ve seen since ‘01, even without home court advantage.

  9. The most complete team we’ve had in years. Good times. Love this squad during the time of uncertainty.
