The vision is there

  1. Seems to be missing the fumble stat and the wins column not quite lining up there chief.

  2. 2nd year stats

    Josh Allen: 271-461 58% 3089 yards 20TDs 9INTs

    Justin Herbert: 443-672 66% 5014 yards 38TDs 15INTs.

He might not match Herberts pure offensive output, not many QBs could, but if he continues at his current pace he will have a better 2nd year than Allen.

  3. This sub loves to cherry pick specific stats to emphasize rather than looking at the whole picture

  4. Keenan Allen and prime diggs are totally different to boutte and whoever our #1 was last year haha

  5. I love Maye and all but…why does he always lean to the side when getting his photo taken? Same thing happened with his roster photo this year too.

  6. patriots fans here haven’t realized yet that Josh Allen is unicorn once in a generation talent yet. You guys would realize how absurd these comparisons are If Allen was on any other team besides the bills.

  7. Maye is fine. The talent is there, media coverage is just about clicks, and “what have you done for me lately?”

Maye looks good, and his stats are fine from a starter perspective; we’re just not winning, and he’s not throwing 400/5 per game.

If the team around him wasn’t complete ass, we’d be 3-0 right now.

  8. Fair – but josh Allen didn’t have to do anything in one of his games. Run game dominated and he just picked his spots. He didn’t have to be Superman. And he learned when he has to be vs when he doesn’t. Massive step for him

  9. The main lesson here is that our 2nd year QB who hasn’t even played a full season of NFL games is the least of this team’s problems.

  10. Josh needs to take the training wheel off and let Maye cook. Move Diggs to the slot and put Williams on the outside. We need a legit deep threat not just Hunter Henry seam routes.

  11. So he’s passing better than the qb that was a ‘raw’ passer and he’s running better than the qb that was airing it out. Doesn’t seem that great

  12. Drake needs an (even more improved) OL and playmakers on offense sooooo badly.

    – Henderson might be one of those guys.
    – Boutte is playing 70-80% of the snaps but not garnering targets! (started watching the All 22 to see why not…)
    – what’s up with Diggs? Staff paid him a ton of money and he didn’t miss a single practice all summer. But now he’s only playing 40-50% of the snaps but it has not been trending upward.
    – Kyle Williams. This guy could be really good, maybe he’s not showing it all in practice yet, but I think he deserves more than 10% of the snaps when there’s like no one else who really deserves more.

Anyway. Drake looks really good. Vrabel needs to continue trending upward in passing over expectation. 1st down passes. More. I love what Harbaugh is doing with Herbert. Need to see that here in NE.

  13. We could easily be 3-0 now if this team didn’t self-sabotage so much!

I still haven’t been able to digest the 4 FUMBLES from last Sunday…

  14. I’m happy with Maye’s development thus far. I think the two biggest things he needs to work on are pocket awareness and ball security. If he can cut down on the INTs and Fumbles he’s going to be great.

That will take time, we need to be patient. Those tendencies will need to be coached out of him, it doesn’t just happen over night.

I’d also say the pass protection has been much better the last two games, so he’s got to learn how to work the pocket in those scenarios. Everything before that was more chaos and a shit show.

  15. I can see if, and I’m hopeful for it, but also let’s not force the idea that Drake Maye will become these two and then get disappointed if he doesn’t fully get there

  16. I don’t see Seth Rollins, Paul Heyman, or either of the Brons anywhere?

No, but to be serious. Drake has looked awesome this year. If he can just clean up those turnovers. Especially the ugly throws the Pats have yet another elite QB on their hands.

  17. Drake throwing and completing 72% is just amazing, considering his weapons and lack-of protection. He’s obviously far from being polished which makes me excited with his future. Only 23, in his sophomore season, dealing with his 3rd offensive scheme since he was drafted.

Hope the Chiefs finds and builds around him, FAST! He’s going to be a Top 7 QB real soon.
