FINAL PREDICTIONS for the Cleveland Browns vs. Detroit Lions game | Week 4

Alright, before you, uh, grab that petting app, you wanna read our prewritten headlines. G. Bush, what do you got? Well, listen, man, last week we was all tripping. We should have believed in the Browns, and so this week I went out here and I made amends for it.y. Brown’s become a snack after falling into the lion pit. Cleveland gets the gravy poured on them 34 to 13 and a loss. Yeah, yeah, this is, this is a trap game and then the trap game means they’re trapped in that line. That is, that might be my favorite headline of our years — of doing this
— has no faith in the Browns, even in their defense. — How old
— are you. Well, no, certainly not. Uh, how much can the defense be asked to do? Brown’s defense collapses as the offense again looks anemic in 27, 6 loss. I, I, there’s been a lot of talk about the Browns scoring 20 points and it’s football and like eventually these bad stretches end, but do they? Like I. Do they bowl? And this is after a win. Yeah, that’s right. I just, it’s impossible. It’s still impossible to believe the Browns won that game last week. I can’t play words offensively. I love Quin Shaw Judkins, but Joe Flacco looks like he’s completely finished to me, and I don’t see that changing anytime soon with their terrible offensive line or certainly their terrible tackle. — So I think it’s gonna be
— ugly. All right, um, I love how you said G Bush, no faith. Do you? No, certainly not. Absolutely not. What are you? I think the surprise there was usually G is the most optimistic. He he has this getting ba. The death by the lion. Uh, yeah, I have the same thing. Uh, I don’t, I, I, I think that we’re going to get over 20 points. I think we’re going to show some progression on offense because we’re going to give the ball to Quan Junkins. He’s our offense and then throwing the ball to tight ends. But ultimately this is a juggernaut offense. It’s not going to happen this Sunday. I got a 34-21 Lions win. Shame on all of you, you, come on. No, I didn’t think so. Do you have it in single digits? Yes. Did you have the Browns covering? Detroit evens the score. It’s been a rough week for, uh, Detroit sports fans this week. Lions are gonna extract some revenge for that. Lions get revenge for Tigers. 27, 20 win over Browns. I’m with Jay. I think they break 20 points. It’s the small things in life you have to celebrate. It’s 20 points, many milestones, is it a clean sweep again for the second. — Great week
— last week we unanimously picked. We know how that resulted. Usually when we are unanimous we are wrong. So in the sake of that mindset, we are unanimous. It is a feeding frenzy for the Lions. I do think Cleveland’s defense holds Detroit in check, but an immobile Flacco behind a battered old line leads to another disgusting offensive performance. I’m in the same boat as Bull until I see Joe Flacco do something. Anything I just can’t bet on the Browns right now. I’m sorry. No, that’s listen, we’re all with you. Um, I want to give a special shout out to Ant who’s much better at making these headline graphics than he is in fantasy football. I don’t know if you saw the subheadline. All of our headlines throw anyone out. Look at it. Weekly hot takes fantasy football is fun. And and and Anthony is, uh, having another rough cut. He and Evan 419 battling for that last spot. Oh, you don’t wanna, you don’t want to be there. All right, that’s gonna do it. Enjoy the weekend. You’ve got great baseball to watch. You’ve got the Buckeyes are back and the guard Sunday.

The Cleveland Browns head into Week 4 against the Detroit Lions riding the momentum of an ELITE defense that just smothered Green Bay, but questions remain about whether Joe Flacco can hold up against another high-powered NFC offense. Detroit comes in balanced — Jared Goff is distributing the ball with confidence, Jahmyr Gibbs is a nightmare in space, and their offensive line is built to test even Jim Schwartz’s pass rush. For the Browns, this game will be a clash of strengths: Cleveland’s defense that has looked championship-caliber versus one of the league’s most efficient offenses.

On the flip side, Kevin Stefanski has to figure out how to get something steady out of his offense. Quinshon Judkins has been the bright spot with his Chubb-like production, but Flacco’s limitations are real, especially when pressured. If the Browns can stay on schedule with the run game and use David Njoku as a safety valve, they’ll have a chance to keep the Lions’ offense on the sideline. Anything less, and Cleveland risks getting into a shootout they simply aren’t built to win.

So what’s the final call? This has the feel of a physical, grind-it-out game where Cleveland’s defense makes enough plays to keep it close — but unless Flacco finds some vintage magic, Detroit’s balance might be too much to overcome. Expect another hard-fought effort from the Browns, but in the end, the Lions pull this one out by a touchdown.
