  1. Damn, wishing him the best and hoping for a speedy recovery. Hopefully not too advanced, prostate cancer has a high survival rate if caught early.

  2. This makes sense considering all of the buzz. I really hope he gets the best treatment and comes back stronger and healthy! Good luck coach!

  3. Hope they caught it early.

Prostate has a very high “survival rate”, however the reason being is most are diagnosed in their 60’s-70’s and if caught early enough will typically pass away due to other issues in their 80’s-90’s.

My father just passed 2 months ago and had stage 4 prostate cancer, however passed of a heart attack, (maybe due to meds, stress and definitely lifestyle :/ )

  4. No one ever wants to hear the word cancer, but isn’t prostate one of those cancers that you just kinda live with until something else gets you?

  5. Prayers up to Coach Williams. This could mean it’s very serious. Late stage, metastatic, or neuroendocrine. He would have gotten a preliminary diagnosis in March when he initially took time away. That he needs to take more time over half a year later is not good news.

  6. All the best wishes coach was looking forward to him coaching Our Defense but health always come first. Obligatory fuck cancer

  7. Man, I hope he recovers quickly. I was hoping it wasn’t serious but the signs were there. I didn’t like how many here were asking for him to be fired. It was obvious that the situation was quite serious and the defense was fine in his absence.
