Yoshinobu Yamamoto ends his sophomore MLB season IN STYLE! 😳| 山本由伸ハイライト
He can be a mystery tonight with you don’t know what he’s thrown or he can dominate you with just a couple of pitches. Swing and a miss. Strike three. Three pitches, three strikes. Another out for Yamamoto. Got him swinging. He came here tonight to celebrate history. And he was so close to making history. Yamamoto this year. Zero or one earned run in 14 of his first 26 starts. Got him swinging. But Yamamoto sits him down with 97. Swing and a miss. Strike three. Swing and a miss. Strike three. Backto back. 98 mph heaters from Yamamoto. Got him. Orioles down in order again. That’s three. Six scoreless six no hit innings for Yoshobu Yamamoto. Jackson strikes out swinging. Strike three swinging. Finished him off with a splitter. Got him swinging. That’s one on the 23rd swing and miss of the night. Extends a new careerh high in the air right field head deep back at the wall. Pah turns and watches it go. Jackson Holiday breaks up the no hitter with a two out solo home run. Dave Roberts gave every bit of the leash to Yoshi Nou Yamamoto. 112 pitches. He fell two strikes and one out short of a no hitter. But still everybody, and I mean everybody, at Oral Park at Camden Yards on their feet. He came here tonight to celebrate history and he was so close to making history. First inning against Yoshino Yamamoto who has been lights out in his last two. Got him swinging high heat at 97. Fast ball is not playing down five pitches into this game and this is elevated and exceptional velocity. It’s strike three. Another high fast ball. The same pitch they got. Ramos gets Chapman. That’s three. 97 swinging on the fast ball. Adamus watches strike three. Living breathing example of blinking through a fast ball in a count where you should want to protect, but he thinks it’s down and it’s probably going to be a splitter, but just let it ride right into the strike zone and take it. Another 02 to Flores. Got him with a curve. Back-to-back Ks to open the fourth and three in a row. It is strike to corner strike. Really well done. Three pitches, three strikes. Another out for Yamamoto as he disposes of Casey Schmidt. Splitter in the dirt. Strike three. Swinging. An eight pitch inning for Yamamoto. [Applause] Strike three paints a fast ball at 97 on the outside corner. Only a second strike out looking and it was a fast ball again right there. Got him swinging. Blew it by him for his ninth K of the night. Sits him down with a curveball. Strikeout number 10 for Yoshobu Yamamoto. The great thing about Yamamoto right now, any pitch, any count, any number of pitches whenever he needs them. So, he can be a mystery tonight with you don’t know what he’s thrown or he can dominate you with just a couple of pitches. Yoshi is good as a rookie. He went seven and two with a three RA. He’s been great in his second year. Nearly unhitable lately, though, with three consecutive 10 strikeout games. Eighth pitch is a curve to finish off Aldridge and get out of this inning unscathed. He issues two walks but no damage. Two- two to De got him this time. The ball doesn’t lie and miss this at back. Yamamoto’s got his second K and goes down on strikes. Three consecutive splitters to finish him off. The one-two pitch. Got him. Splitter fell off of the table for strike three is a fast ball and like a house by the side of the road, he takes it. Strike three. The pitch got him to chase the splitter for strike three. He’s pitched around the five walks. Struck him out with a hammer of a curveball. That’ll be it for Yamamoto. 108 pitches, four shy of his major league high. Found a way tonight. Put up zeros and the bullpen will try and keep it right there. He said the top rotation in baseball has been very aelike lately. Almost unhitable. opponents three for their last 73 against Yoshobu Yamamoto. See what he goes with on a one-two to Purdomo. Four consecutive splitters to strike him out. Purdommo’s got to be sitting up there thinking there’s no way that he throws four in a row to start the game, right? Wrong. Grounded to first. Freddy Freeman’s got it. Feeds Yamamoto. Two up and two down. See what he chooses on one two. the splitter, which is dialed in this first inning. Yamamoto puts bookend Ks on a one, two, three first, giving them everything they need, which he’s done all season, which he’s doing so far today with three Ks over two scoreless. Throws another curve and gets the call this time. Strike three to ring up Tawa and finish off four scoreless innings. Two-2 swing and a miss on a curveball strike three. Five scoreless from Yoshino Yamamoto putting the finishing touches on his 30th and final start of the regular season. He sits down Carol on a nasty splitter. They get the ball right there. That’s because that’s his 200th strike out of the year. Looked like a strike turning into ball. That was a ball turning into a strike. And that’s a strike. That’s a strike. The 2001st of the year for Yamamoto. Yamamoto’s finished after six scoreless innings. The bullpen takes over.
Yoshinobu Yamamoto became the 7th Japanese-born pitcher with a 200-strikeout season 👏

Dodgers fans and baseball fans will never forget this game…the disastrous game that began after he was taken off the mound and the manager Roberts' tactical mistakes.
第二年表現精采 可惜常常問天
しょうがねえなあ、と言う顔をして帰っていく打者たち
Yoshinobu Yamamoto always respects his body and arm with great care. High IQ is his weapon. It is very important.
Even though he didn't have any support from his teammates, the court made a wrong decision, and his teammates ruined his chances of victory, he did his best to maintain his rotation! That's amazing!
A beautiful and efficient pitching form that no one can imitate😊
芸術的!
Yamamoto could have been a Cy Young candidate or even possibly the winner of that award if the Dodgers relief pitchers were decent. The relief pitchers failed him miserably. Also, he did not get very good run support for most of the season. He did have a great season. He is an outstanding pitcher. Dodgers should be grateful that they have him.
チームでは大谷の影の隠れ、リーグではスキーンズの影に隠れてた
本当だったらもっと騒がれていいのに本当に過小評価されてるわ
それだけにノーノーは達成してほしかったね
看山本投球真是令人賞心悅目
