Yeah Orlando needs to be gone after this year he’s washed

Accurate
Jesus, they’re awful
Oh oh oh round and round he goes.
I saw this clip a few days ago, and then heard an interview clip with OBJ in the locker room after training, talking about needing to improve and all the usual OL speak – win the battles, dominate, etc.
I find it really hard to listen to that when you see clips like this. That isn’t ‘need to improve’. That’s how I would look if you put me on the line (ok I wouldn’t look that size, but you know what I mean!). That is appallingly bad. How can a pro player play like that? What is going on? By all accounts our new OL coach is great… so what is this?
I know we’ll never hear anything other than the press-speak, but I would love to know what he actually said when he saw that clip. And what coaches said….
I love having half our cap space go to like six players and none of them can block.
Thank you for this. I’ve been seeing this crap all year and it’s blowing my mind. Our guards are doing it also. I’ve seen them just turn away from their blocker several times and just let Joe get blown up.
This was hard to watch. I hope big adjustments were made this week. We cannot have this type of blocking Monday night.
I think a 67 year old Muñoz could be more effective
Tbh I’m not sure how long Jake is gonna last behind that line. It’s just so bad
Plus the next few weeks we face some of the best pass rushes in the league
People all over this sub swore up and down that the offensive line wasn’t that bad and that Burrow was the one making them look bad.
I’m so fucking glad that people can finally stop doing the mental gymnastics to avoid the obvious issue: the O-line is terrible and no amount of “scheming” is going to cover that up enough for this team to ever reach its ceiling.
They went under center and ran the “Jake Browning offense” that so many folks were telling me about, and they got absolutely embarrassed.
Had Orlando not called Duke and taken a fairly reasonable deal, where would we be at LT? Would we have reigned Jonah? Used the Murphy pick on OL? Surely wouldn’t have gone after one do the recent elite FA LTs.
Oh yeah, that’s embarrassing. OBJ was a literal turnstile.
Karras is 32
Risner is 30
OBJ 29
Mims 23 in 2 weeks
Fairchild 22
There’s a case to be made that, while age is not a surefire predictor, the older guys just have too many miles on them to be truly effective.
👍 thanks for being a fan that pays attention.
Tape don’t lie.
Has OB Jr ever played this poorly in past seasons?
On the bright side, at least Green Bay and Detroit don’t have defensive ends as good as this guy to play us in 2 of the next 3 games.
The last one being the Ravens and using a clip where the Lions sent 6 pass rushers for 5 blockers is kinda funny lol. Hit your hot route Lamar, that’s a blitz.
Might I suggest giving Mims a shot?
Mims is the only not bad spot on the O-line for Bengals but he’s not a great run blocker cause his feet are slow. The Bengals have to start engaging in blocks instead of receiving every defender.
Someone get this guys real phone number and send him these clips and keep saying ” Elite” after each clip. Send it every morning at 1 am.
The strike method must mean never touching the guy you’re supposed to be blocking ever at all.
That is insane. It almost looks like Orlando Brown isn’t even trying. Wow.
I think Orlando should be drug tested. I don’t think he is well. He actually may not be mentally fit to still be on the field. I mean that in a honest way. He looks bad. I hope he gets checked out.
You *have* to draft o-line competently. You cannot build an o-line through FA. There isn’t enough money even if that many good to great linemen were available. And they aren’t. The Bengals have been abysmal at drafting, developing *and* quite frankly scheming for any success up front.
With three major injuries to Joe it all has to change. The offense has to change.
I personally think Orlando came here just to fuck us over on Burrows blind side. It was the chiefs master plan all along.

Dear lord. The LG #63 is equally awful.
