  1. Optimistic

If he keeps that 3pt % on a decent clip and ups the FT % with solid D and decent off ball to work within the system / rotation, that’ll be solid

  2. I ain’t gonna lie I keep forgetting he’s on the team. I’m not really expecting much but we’ll see.

  3. He’s been in the lab with AR, I like his game and he has some room to grow. Not saying I have high expectations but I think he will flourish in his role

  4. Solid player from the looks of it

Brings some energy to the floor and can make his own shot when needed

  5. Damn he crossed AR up bad. I don’t remember seeing him play but I’m excited for his potential. Having somebody coming off the bench that can score off the dribble will be a bonus

  6. I really just feel like there’s a ton of untapped potential as a creator. He knows how to get to spots and makes good reads.

My only worry is if he really actually is a great shooter. The volume is just too low to really be confident. Either way I think he will be a very solid bench piece.

  7. He might be the steal of the offseason. He’s athletic and a better shooter than DFS. He’s tall and a decent defender. Marcus Smart and Ayton will compensate on any defensive liabilities so this may be a better situation than the previous season with DFS (though I would love if DFS was still around).

  8. Pretty excited. As with most of our role players, it will likely come down to how good they can be on _both_ ends. We have too many guys who are only good on offense, or only good on defense. The guys who will get a lot of playing time will be solid all around. I’m not sure how well Jake can defend, but I like his offensive game a lot and I know he will be a rotation player day 1

  9. I think he’ll be really really good. He’s someone that Marcus Smart hailed as a good defender during his time with the Griz. If he gets better by progressing normally he’ll be our DFS replacement for years to come.

An added benefit is that is he can start and we get Kesseler then we just need a white point guard defender to compete exodia.

  10. Same age as Knecht.  Hope LaRavia can produce, but think Knecht has more upside and hope that Knecht gets solid minutes to improve. Despite summer league

  11. He’s a solid rotation contributor with play creation and some 2 way capability. He’s young, with some upside. Got him for “free”….

  12. Very excited. He’s gonna provide the bench scoring and energy we desperately need. If Jake and Dalton hit their strides our bench will be looking good. Also it’d be wild to see a lineup with Luka, AR, Dalton and Jake because they can all knock down 3s.

  13. This guy shows all the signs that he can and will play winning basketball. He’ll be one of those guys you want on your roster when it’s about winning it all. I’m super excited.

  14. Me and my daughter watched Laker games all last season after dinner . Were waiting 🗣️🗣️🗣️🗣️🗣️🗣️🗣️🗣️
