He just gets a little fast ball up it looks like or actually a change up and ropes this ball line drive base hits S Stewart delivers a comebacker that plates the first run of the night for Cincinnati. Noelvie Marte comes in to score and the Reds have a one- nothing lead. Sometimes the young guys are the best because they don’t know what know any better. And South Stewart gets a fast ball up out over the plate. Almost knocks Gasser’s hat off with this one. Drives in the first run for the Reds. And now they get Ellie Dea Cruz up there again with a chance to drive in another run. Runner takes off from first. It’s ball four. And the bases are now loaded for Kean Hayes. Topped in front of home plate. Mizarowski stumbles off the mound and everybody’s safe. Key Brian Hayes with a swinging bunt. Drives home the second run of the night for Cincinnati. Doesn’t matter how hard you hit it. The exit velocity is not going to be high. It’s not going to be an analytical darling. But it’s a knock and an RBI and a two nothing lead. And there’s nothing Merowski could do. 3-1 Mlean upstairs by four. And Misarowski walks in a run. Three nothing Reds. Another payoff and it’s a base hit to left field. Two runs will score. Ball gets away and this will then clear the bases. A sick spot for Cincinnati. TJ Fredo drives into a throwing error brings another one home and the Reds have serious breathing room now.

The Reds take a big early lead over the Brewers with a six-run inning as their chase for the third NL Wild Card continues.
