🔴LIVE 🔴Los Angeles Angels vs Houston Astros Game Highlights (9/27/25) | MLB /MLB THE SHOW 25
just about set to go now. And on the hill in this one, Kyle Hris and Singi, we were talking earlier about how he’s doing a great job navigating through tough spots. Well, he’s been a very dependable starter for his club. And what stands out for me is that left-handed hitters have really struggled batting below 200 against him. And it just tells me they have a hard time tracking the baseball. Maybe it’s the release point, maybe it’s the motion, but just some way somehow they’ve got to figure out a way to pick it up and try to have some success from the left side. That one back up the middle and it gets through. So, a runner aboard to start the inning. Batting second. Really nice job staying up the middle with his approach. He didn’t try to do too much with the pitch. just shot it through the infield. Now the left fielder, Isak Paredus, runner on to go. And that one fouled off. [Applause] And there’s a foul ball. [Applause] That’s down and in. See if he can go upstairs a little bit. Make sure you miss up and out of the zone since you’re heading the count one two. Don’t miss in the zone cuz that’s where you get hurt. On the ground. Two ball flips it. There’s one to first. Not in time. Great effort there. Third short. Well, an aggressive slide at second base, but it was legal. I like it because you’re trying to break up the double play and it looked like the slide impacted the throw a little bit. Nice job by the base runner. Here’s Carlos Kareah. First pitch and he just misses. Koreah 30 years old now and he was born in Puerto Rico. Paredus the base runner at first with one out. Kareah the former first overall pick from Puerto Rico back in 2012 and he blossomed into the American League Rookie of the Year in 2015. with a short stop. Takes a ball on the corner for a strike. In today’s game, not that many fast ball counts, but hitters still in the back of their minds, they’re looking for one. Two change up call right there. Excellent pitch selection to go with runner on the go on the ground to third. whips it across. No chance at the double play with the runner in motion. First base, Christian Walker. Now we check out the Astros lineup. Someone who makes things happen for them in part with his legs. Cam Smith. Well, Boo, there aren’t many guys who have a flare for the big moment like he does. I mean, batting over 400 with runners in scoring position. Are you kidding me? I I know it’s not guaranteed or an automatic, but I hope we get to see him in a close late game situation with runners in scoring position and just see is he truly a machine or not. Christian Walker in the box with two gone and takes a look at a called strike. Ball one there. just missed. That’s down. Rudder at second. Two down. Starting to go at the 2-1. Appeal down to first. No swing. So now two on and two outs. Batting fifth catcher at the plate is the Astros catcher Yiner Diaz. [Applause] In there at the knees. That’s strike one. Two aboard, two outs. [Applause] That wasn’t an easy pitch to hit. It’s much easier to do damage against mistakes, but that’s not what that pitch was. Look out. You hit him. And it hit him. He had two strikes on him and he hit him. Now here’s the Astros designated hitter, Zack Cole. Yeah, don’t need much damage here. Just a base hit. Likely will score two. And that’s in there at the knees. It’s 0 and one. [Applause] And he deals. And swinging a miss there. He’s gone off speed. He needs to elevate here with two strikes out of the zone. swinging a ground ball up the middle. Lays out. Oh, it’s off his glove. He never gets off a throw. Everyone safe and a run comes in to score. Hello. Two outs. Base is full. And here is Cam Smith [Applause] swaying. A ball popped in the air. base hit. One run is in. Now a second crosses the plate and they lead by three. That’s all he needed. Just a simple base hit and he drives in two in a huge spot. Just a cookie down the middle. I mean those are the ones you dream about. Ones in the cage you’re just hoping you get in the ball game right down the middle. Not a whole lot of velocity right on top of it. Now the third baseman, Ramono Rias. That one fouled off. [Applause] Two on, two outs. He had a foul ball. [Music] [Applause] Hendrickx delivers. That’s foul off to the right side. Keeps the AB going. Two on, two outs. [Applause] Foul ball left side. He’ll see another and that’s where this win. It’s a strike out. Three runs for him here and they move ahead. Bottom half of inning number one coming up. It’s the Astros three and the Angels coming up. Back in Anaheim and towing the slab in this one, Jason Alexander. Chris, how about a scouting report? Well, you can see his whip is a little above the league average. Not bad, but I think in this one, he’s going to need to control that a little bit better. Try to limit hitters from getting on base. Stay in that windup instead of the stretch. And when he does allow base runners be able to throw a pitch, he’s going to get a swing and miss. get out of the inning so that a base hit doesn’t do more damage and put his team behind the eightball. Nolan Shaw, the leadoff batter, as he looks at ball one. Well, after scoring runs, this is where you’re looking for that shutdown inning. Get that hot team back in there to swing the bats. Check swing and he went and now it’s even one and one. Highf fly ball down the left field line. Nobody can get there and it’s a foul ball. A one-two fast ball right back to the mound. Over to first. One gone. Bottom half of the first. All right, let’s take a look at the Angels lineup. And the challenge for this lineup today, Singy finding a way to have success against the sinker ball. Yeah, it’s a tough pitch to hit, Boo, and even harder to elevate. Got to set your sights a little bit higher when you’re at the dish. They’re struggling with it. I’d expect them to make some type of adjustment. It won’t take long to see how well that sinker is working today. Mike Trout at the plate now. That’s ball one. Worm burner into the outfield for a knock. So, a man aboard now with one away. Batting third, left fielder Taylor stepping in the long ball threat. Taylor Ward and there’s a rocket into the outfield. They fired in quickly. So it’s first and second with only one away. Batting fourth rightielder Joe. Here’s Joe Adele. Good power. Not great in the OBP department. Pitch misses and that is ball one. Ground ball left side and that’s just fouled. Trout over at second. Ward at first. One gone. Ground ball left side. Could be two. Off balance feed. There’s one to first. Not in time. Great effort there. Luis Renhifo gets a chance to hit here. Singing he’s never finished the season with more stolen bases in his entire career. That clips the corner. Man, this guy’s got a great feel for his breaking ball today. One and one. This one in the dirt and an excellent job keeping it right there. Runners at the corners with two outs. Next offering is downstairs. Good spot for the hitter. definitely has the advantage in this count with runners on. Look for him to be aggressive on this next pitch. Out of line out towards center and a base hit right there in comes a runner from third and it’s an RBI single. It’s 3-1. Puts a run on the board and picks up an RBI. Nice swing to drive that pitch up the middle. could have easily bit out in front on the off speed and pulled off of it, but he was looking to use the big part of the field and he executed his plan perfectly. So in for the Angels, Logan Ohappy that misses the zone and that’s ball one. It’s great to get on the board in the first frame of the ball game, but here’s an opportunity for them to really open things up with a couple of runners on. Let’s see if they can cash in [Music] [Applause] outside. He’s clearly trying to work him away here. Both pitches off the plate. If you really want to put the ball in play, you’re going to have to stay back and drive it to the opposite field. And a foul ball makes the count two and one. Two outs. Christian Moore in the deck circle hoping to get a chance to make a big impact here and they’re all loaded up. Maybe a little loss of focus on the mound right there. Pretty much gifted in first base with a quick free pass. So bases all loaded up. Christian Moore the next to hit for the Angels. Ball one, no strikes. Wow. Swinging a foul out of play. First inning and already up to 23 pitches. That one misses and it’s two and one. In situations like these, the air can get really thin up there at the plate. Got to find a way to breathe and slow everything down. [Applause] This one popped up right side. Altuve squeezes it and the inning is over. But the RBI single pushes across a run. It’s now a 3-1 ball game. You’re watching Major League Baseball on the show. Back here at Angel Stadium. Second inning set to go. Here’s Mauricio Dubon. Hris back to work. Ripped but a curls foul. Close but called a ball. And that’s ball one. And he takes the strike [Applause] up the middle. One out in the second. Now batting second base Jose Altuve. Jose Altuve up to hit here. He’s one for one. Let off the game with a single and first offering is fouled off. One out. Base is empty. Altbe has a lot of history with the Astros. In fact, he’s played so many seasons in Houston that he’s the only player to be named an all-star in both leagues while playing for the same team. You know, Boo Alou goes back all the way to those Astros days in the NL Central before they moved to the AL West. outside low. Two balls, two strikes. The count stays alive. [Music] [Applause] That misses count and the count’s full. keeps the at bat going with a foul ball. One down, base is empty. Knocks that one away and we’ll do it again. Ninth pitch of the at bat. Do next. Ground ball right side. Takes it to the bag. Steps on first and it’s out number two. Now batting left fielder Isach Paredus. Two outs, space is empty. So next up for Houston, Isach Paradus. 0 for one. He hit into a fielder’s choice his first time. Comebacker to the mound. Fires over to first and it’s a one, two, three inning. So they make short work of them there. Now to the bottom of the second. It’s the Astros three and the Angels one. We head to the bottom of the second. Stepping in number 13. Short stop number 13. First offering and it just misses. 10. Next offering is fouled back. And a swing and a miss. There’s that slider. One ball, two strikes. Cuts and misses. It’s a strike out. We’re going to take a look at the pitch sequence of that at bat. And the thing to notice are the pitch locations. every single one of them on the edges of the strike zone. And as a hitter, that can be pretty frustrating because you don’t expect a pitcher to be able to make quality pitches one after another like that. And so those are tough spots to do damage in a great demonstration of pitch command. And it got him a punch out that time. Next to hit number 22 that misses one and0 backto back breaking pitches away. You get the feeling as a hitter that the pitcher is afraid of you that he doesn’t want to challenge you. So I think the confidence level is raised right here. That one missing inside. Three 0. Fast ball for a strike and a count is three and a one. Hit on the ground to short. Kareah already two out here in the home half of inning number two. Now batting first baseman, Nolan Shadow. Back to the top of the Angels lineup. Nolan Shanuel the next to hit for the Angels. He’s 0 for one. That’s inside. Ball one. You want to be patient here. Try to work a walk if you can. You’ve got a big power bat behind you in the on deck circle and with two outs, one swing can put you right back in this ball game. And another ball swing at a ball lifted to center field. Dubong makes the catch and that is that. Nothing doing here this half. We play two full. It’s the Astros three and the Angels one. All set for the start of the unit. And here comes Carlos Koreah. Carlos Kareah. And that drops in for a strike. Well, these Astros doing a good job of putting the ball into play and that makes things more challenging on the defensive side. They’re hitting everything thrown at them. Their contact rate is in the low 90s. It’s like they know what’s coming and that’s just pretty ridiculous what they’re doing right now. Those numbers are well above the major league average and now one and two [Music] [Applause] up the middle and it finds its way through for a hit. Had a good start to the inning. wide throw and it gets away and he’s going to make it up to second base as that’s a two-base error. Oh, that’s just an unacceptable error right there. Just kind of lacadasical in getting it back into the infield and there’s really no excuse for that. Turned a simple single into a runner in scoring position. Now runner in scoring position, no outs. And next will be the cleanup hitter, Christian Walker. He reached out to walk his first time. Turned on, but that’s fouled down the third baseline. down the line. It’s a base hit. Koreah on his horse and coming home. He’ll score. It’s an RBI single and they’re up by three. Two consecutive base hits for this team. really shot that one down the right field line and somehow found a way to keep it from slicing foul. One thing that was great about the approach, his head was down all the way through the pitch. And that’s how you do it. Now, the Angels manager is out of the dugout and he’ll make a move to the pen. Kyle Hendris will depart and this is one he’d like to forget. Back with a new arm after this. Now pitching for new pitcher in the game for the Angels. Well, walks have been a big issue for him this year, so I expect these hitters to be patient up there. Yer Diaz digs in now. No, that’s in the dirt but kept close to second. Pulls him off the bag. And now a man into scoring position. You know, sometimes it takes a reliever a little time to get comfortable with the mound out there, especially when they come in trying to be nasty with every pitch they throw. Not exactly what they were looking for when they called him in, though. We’ll see if he can settle down. [Applause] man at second. Swinging a foul back. That’s out of play. [Music] [Applause] Here’s a swing and a drive left field and he knew it. a gigantic blast. Home run number 20 on the year. It’s 6-1. He absolutely feasts on right-handed pitching and devours that one for a homer. And you can see that’s what he expects of himself at bat after at bat. He’s that confident. That’s exactly the pitch he was looking for. Crushes it and hits it out of the ballpark. So now the Astros designated hitter, Zack Cole. [Applause] And that one clips the corner. [Applause] that misses the zone and the count even one and one. Activity in the bullpen for the Angels. Number 70 appears to be getting ready and I’m sure he’s feeling some nerves. This would be his major league debut. Number 68, a right-hander loosening up as well. Next offering down low and in the dirt [Applause] and there’s a ball. First pitch strike from the pitcher, but then no panic at all by the hitter. Very patient, showing good discipline. Now he’s in the driver’s seat with the 3-1 count. Swing and a miss. Full count. [Applause] Gets a piece and stays alive. [Applause] got him swinging. He’s locked in at the plate when he’s using the whole field. He was out in front there. Just needs to let the ball travel a little more. His timing will be back on track. Good pitch for the strikeout. And stepping in for the Astros. Cam Smith. He drove in two with a single his first time out. Headed towards the corner. Grabs it on the run. Out number two, those can be pretty fun as an outfielder. Got to put it into his highest gear and go a long way to track that one down. Nothing better than that. You feel like a wide receiver playing football. [Applause] Our takes a ball as he stands in for the second time. Here’s a high-fly ball out to center on his way in. Nabs it and that is that two-run shot for the Astros this inning. And this is now a 61 ball game. It’s Major League Baseball and it’s on the show. ready to go for the last half of the inning. Here’s Trout. He is quite an athlete. I mean, you look around the other sports, basketball, football, you feel like he could thrive in one of those sports, too. Lifted in the air right center field. And there’s one down. Woo! He was all over that first pitch fast ball and just barely missed it. Man, this guy was ready to hit. Next to hit, Taylor Ward. One for one with a single so far. Foul ball there. [Music] Sliced hard but fouled to third. Throws across the diamond to out. Well, he’s doing a nice job of keeping the ball out of the air. Lets the defense work behind him with another ground ball. Good execution. So now the angel cleanup hitter Joe Adele. He’s not going to get cheated up there. No, he’s not. He’s looking to do damage with every swing he takes. Chop back up the middle. No throw. He’s safe at first. Runner at first with two away. Luis Reanifo the next to hit for the Angels. RBI single his last time up. That’s in there. Oh, and one pulls that one foul. Adell leads off first with two down in the inning. That one missed. That misses and the count is two and two. Two and two. [Applause] They stopped the lead runner at second. Now two on with two outs. Up next for the Angels catcher. Now it’s going to be Logan Ohappy. Walked his first time. That’s in for a strike. first and second. Two down. just off the outside part of the plate. Really close pitch down around the knees there. And you could see him asking where it missed. Probably doesn’t agree, but it appears he’s ready to move on to the next pitch. Just off the inside edge. He’s really tightening up his hitting zone with two strikes here. I love it. And a swing and a miss. Down on strikes. And that is the third out of the inning. Angel strand a couple. They trail it 6-1 as we go to the top of the fourth. And stepping in for the Astros, Mauricio Dubon. Centerielder, Mauricio Dubon. Duban, 30 years old now. And he was born in Honduras. Yan. He swings and fouls one off. waves at defender for the strike out. Well, that’s a curveball that I’m sure he wants back at the plate. Two strikes, the sort of pitch you’re hoping for. A bit of a mistake and I’d say in a very hitable location, but clearly the break was enough to get him to swing through it. Ripped to short. zips it across and they get out for the owl. Up next for the Astros, left fielder Isach Paredus. Two down, base is empty. Here’s the left fielder, Isach Paradus. Justice one and swing and a miss and it’s one and one. There’s a certain point where you have to commit to what you think you see and he guessed wrong right there. Nasty slider with just terrific bite at the end [Applause] and that’s ripped into left. Base hit and that keeps the inning going. Well, now here’s Carlos Kareah with a chance to hit. One for two. Pitch misses there and it’s one and0. Two outs. No, that’s out down the left field line. Could be extra bases. Lead runner gets the stop sign at third. It’s a two out double. Second and third now. But when you fall behind in the count, you’ve got to come into the zone and then guys have a better chance of hitting the ball hard like he did right there. And now it’s Christian Walker. A walk and he’s also singled. Misses inside. Ball one. Fouled off. He was late [Music] [Applause] on the ground and it goes just foul. Two outs, two in scoring position. Top half of inning number four. Battling here as he fouls it away. [Applause] fouls it back with two strikes. Foul ball still a one and two count. Ball. Eighth pitch of the at bat coming up. Count is full. Yiner Diaz would be next if they can extend the inning. And he’s homered already, so I’m sure he’d love a chance to do some more damage here. Got him looking. He battled for a long time, but it finishes with a strikeout. You can’t be mad at yourself after an at bat like that one. A couple of hits in the inning, but they can’t get him home. And midway in the fourth, it’s the Astros six and the Angels won. [Applause] Ready to go. Bottom four. So in for the Angels. Christian Moore. Christian Moore pitch is in there. That’s strike one. This is one of those times when you want to be aggressive. Go ahead and pitch to contact. Let the defense work behind you. You’ve got a nice comfortable lead. Don’t try to be too fine. Next offering is in for a strike. Swings and misses. struck him out. That was a tough slider right there. He couldn’t get a piece of it just to try to keep the at bat alive. Hitters will tell you that slider when a guy’s able to really tunnel the pitch where it looks like a fast ball and then late has really good bite. So tough to lay off of because you’ve made the decision you don’t want to get beat by a fast ball and then you swing and you miss. You go back to the dugout shaking your head. Next offering in there for a strike and the count is one and one. The Stros leading by five. We’re here in the bottom of the fourth. The 1-1 is fouled off. Off the outside edge. And now the count is two and two. And right back to the mound. Tosses to first. Already two gone here in the home floor. That’s what a good sinker is designed to do. Get a guy to roll over a little bit, hit the ball on the ground, kill some worms while you’re at it. Here’s the center fielder grounded out his first time. In there for strike one. Generally second, third time through the lineup, you want to be able to lean on those secondary pitches and command them. Looks like he’s doing a nice job of it. The next pitch misses. One and one. That smash towards center. Dubon makes the grab on the run. Angels go down one two three. The lead remains five if 6-1. Now pitching for So the Angels turn to their bullpen for a new pitcher, Luis Garcia. Well, they need someone to stop the bleed and keep the score right where it is. Seems like a tough task today with the way this lineup is swinging. It at the plate is the Astros catcher, Yiner Diaz. He’s already homerred here in this one. That one finds the zone. It’s 0 and one. Well, these Astros doing a good job of simply getting the bat on the ball in this game, and the numbers back that up. They’ve done a great job finding holes in the defense. Exactly half of their hits have come off the bat less than 90 mph. So, the ball isn’t exactly jumping off the lumber, but they’re finding a way to make it work. Hit on the ground to short. Tosses across the first and a quick out number one. Now betting the designated hitter, Zack Cole. Now here’s the Astros designated hitter, Zack Cole. Hammered down the right side, but foul. [Music] [Applause] One down, base is empty. Pop foul out of play off to the right. Way inside. Gets out of the way. Fouled off and they’ll do it again. The one two lifted in the air right field. Adele snags it. That’s out number two. Now it’s the right fielder Cam Smith. That one outside and that’s ball one. And that’s outside. Pretty easy to give up on that pitch right there. Started on the edge of the plate with the spin. You know it’s going to finish well off the plate. Two out. Space is empty. And a foul ball. Right through there for a strike. [Music] Swing and a ground ball up the middle. That’s a base hit. So a two out knock keeps the inning alive. Up next for the Astros. Now Ramon Rias for two in this one. Pitch misses and that’s ball one. Smith the runner at first with two gone and that is out of play. [Music] [Applause] Two outs and a big swing and a miss. Well, he went inside a couple of times and now outside hitters’s not exactly sure where to look for this next pitch. That’s down and in. Out there to center on the move. Nice grab on the run. And that is that. One left for Houston. They still lead it though 6-1. And welcome back to the ballpark. We head to the bottom of the fifth and here’s the first baseman Nolan Shadow. Alexander back to work and that is downstairs. Ball one. You know, these Angels need to bring up the quality of their bats and specifically their swings. They’re trying to find ways to drive the ball with some authority, but it’s just not happening for them so far. Zero extra base hits in the game. So, it’s been tough for them to get anything going. Yeah, they hold them at second. Maybe this is going to be the moment they start the comeback. Anytime you rip a line drive the other way, you feel really good about what you did at the plate. You trusted your hands, you let the ball travel, and you took the barrel straight to it. That’s great work right there. Here’s Mike Trout and that’s in there at the knees. Sometimes you have to keep chipping away until you break through. But it’s a lot easier to put runs on the board when you have guys in scoring position because they put themselves there ball. Meanwhile, activity in the bullpen. Craig Kimell, a right-hander with big strikeout stuff, is getting it fired up. Valdez, the power lefty up as well. Line drive caught from up here. It looked like that liner might be splitting the gap in right center. That’s one of those atom balls you just have to live with as a hitter. So, up next, Taylor Ward. [Applause] And there’s the strike. [Music] Check swing. Did he go? Yes, he did. No balls. Two strikes. man at second. Misses outside and the count is one and two. Swing and a miss. Check him out. Now batting. And next for LA, Joe Adele. Joe Adele. and the slider just misses. That’s inside ball. Next offering is in for a strike. Two two. And there’s a ball. bounced to the right side. Walker the tag and that’s out number three. Inning over. Now pitching. We’re back and they make a change to start the six. The new pitcher, Connor Brogden. Should be a good first match up for him here. He’s been doing a great job against right-handed bats so far this season. They’ve had a lot of trouble squaring him up. And the batter now, Mauricio Dubiel, struck out on just three pitches last time. First pitch doesn’t find the zone. Swings through that one for strike one. It might be time to choke up a little bit. Get that front foot down early. Maybe even just spread out. He’s really late right now. The 1-1 is fouled off. just misses the mark outside the zone. Really good take, especially with two strikes. Spoils a two strike pitch and he’ll see another to the right side and foul ball [Applause] and now it’s filled up. He’s great hitting the ball the other way and that pitch did a good job to straighten him up a bit. Mission accomplished. up the middle and he knocks it down. Safe at first as they can’t make the play. Now batting second baseman Jose Altuve. Here’s the former MVP Jose Altuve. One for three. That one misses one and0. That’s the ball. Squirts away a little bit. Two and0. hit hard to the ground and up the middle. Base hit. Throw back in quickly. First and second now with nobody out. Now batting left fielder Isach Paredus. Isach Paredus getting ready to hit. fought off foul. [Applause] That’s off the mark. And it’s one and one. Dubong on second. Altuve on it first with nobody out on the inside corner for a strike. [Applause] fights that one away. Still one and two. And delivers outside. No outs. Runners at first and second. Blind drive. That’s a base hit into right field. The throw in. It’s off the mark and he scores and it’s now a six-run lead. Short stop Carlos Kareah now. Kareah up to hit. It’s been such a good hitter with runners in scoring position. Some guys just take it to another level for him right now at the plate. It’s like everyone else is in slow motion and he’s in full speed. And the first pitch misses for ball one. He’s getting a little frustrated out there on the mound, getting hit around a little bit. Let’s see if he can settle himself down. [Applause] And that’s in for a strike. And the count one and one. [Applause] Swing and a miss. and he was fooled. Knowing that the pitcher wants a ground ball double play opportunity here, you’ve got to lay off pitches down in the zone right there. Swinging at that pitch. That’s a no no. The short stop takes the ball. Two and two. [Applause] Foul ball. Another two- two upcoming. First and second here. No outs. [Applause] That one the other way and it’s caught for the out. Now battle for first baseman Christian Walker. Christian Walker up next for the Astros. One of the rare guys at first base that you almost think defense first. He is that good with the glove. You’re talking about top of the list elite defensive first baseman right down to shoot and one first baseman are involved in just about every single play. So when you have somebody so solid over there uh you can breathe a little easier. The other thing about an elite defensive first baseman like him, it it just instills a ton of confidence in those guys playing third and short that have to make those long tough throws at times and he just handles them so well. So he really makes the entire infield better with his glove. [Applause] Two on, one out. That one misses. And that’s ball two. You’re not just talking about the ability to pick, Chris. One of the things about him, the range is impressive as he’s able to go to his right and get to those balls of the hole lined and that’s a base hit. Altuve around third. He will score. Runner holds it third. So just one across on the play. Now the Angels manager is out of the dugout and he’ll make a move to the pan. Connor Brogden won’t go any further and the line not closed on him yet as he’s responsible for the runners on base. Back with a new pitcher after this. Now pitching for Sam Bachman gets the call from the pen. He’s averaging more than one hit allowed per inning pitch this season and that’s not where you want to be at all. So, we’ll see how he does here. So, they’re at the corners now. Yer Diaz up next for the Astros. He’s already homerred in this game. Tap foul at the plate. One of the things that Jim Leland used to say when I was broadcasting with the Marlins, the longer a plate appearance goes for a batter, the more likely it is that something good will happen for the hitter. [Applause] Broken bat and it’s popped up and there’s two down. Now batting the designated hitter, Zack Cole. Zack Cole will hit next. [Applause] And downstairs movement in the bullpen. Chase Sils getting loose out there. [Applause] the next offer misses. Two balls, no strikes. Tried to back door with that slider right there, but just missed off the plate. Good pitch, though. That one’s spoiled. And the count now two and one. I wouldn’t throw him another breaking ball. try to go again with a fast ball. Slightly elevated. He just having a hard time catching up. [Music] [Applause]
