Very interesting to see Dominic James still here. He’s looked good and been a nice surprise so far.
Stojo still on the team. Think he’d be great on the 4th line…
This is the first time in a long time we have multiple young players I’m excited about. JBB and the front office has sneakily done a great job with finding talent outside of traditional means.
James has looked really speedy, and Stachowiak fits really well with a bottom-6 mentality with a bit of offense to his game too. I’ve liked what I’ve seen from Finley and Crozier too.

Goncalves – Paul – Bjorkstrand
Chaffee – Gourde – Girgensons
Unfortunately, that top 12 looks pretty set, once Paul comes back – you can swap Geekie, Goncalves, and Bjorkstrand in that second line and I wouldn’t bat an eye. As good as the new guys have been, though, I don’t see how they displace Geekie who has looked good and has had NHL experience before. Paul being injured allows one of them to play with the club for a while, but not for long. My guess would be Finley as a centre taking faceoffs, but my guess is as good as anyone else’s.

We have a ton of forwards. Would love to see us eventually flip one for a third pairing dman
