  1. This cards team is as spineless and apathetic as their fanbase. No cards fan will ever be able to talk shit to me again because of how they disappeared this season

  2. Quite the ride. I’ll miss regular season games throughout the week, but now it’s time to see what this team is actually made of.

  3. Always a pleasure to sweep those shitbirds and end the season with a W!

Let’s do the damn thing on Tuesday, fellas!

  4. Gotta love watching Pca acknowledging his people in center field. Glad to see us sweep. Now onto to the big games.

  5. I bleed Cubbie blue. Love the sweep, love that we get postseason play! And we get more Pat and Ron!

  6. good way to the end the season! i hope we take some momentum from this weekend into the postseason

and as always, fuck the cardinals and let’s go cubs!

  7. Can you imagine living in St. Louis right now and not even having baseball to watch anymore?

  8. Just imagine, if they didn’t go through that rough patch they would most likely be just under or just over 100 wins. Bet nobody expected that kind of performance coming into this season. 92 wins is still impressive. Regardless of what happens in the Post Season, it was a solid year, and definitely something to build upon. Saw what some of the young guys can do, and getting that experience now is for the better. Getting into the post season is just the cherry on top.

Sure, not all of the prospects hit the ground running, but Horton had a solid performance and PCA had a crazy good first half. I’m excited for the post season and for next year as well.

  9. Cubs win! Cubs sweep! I’ve enjoyed the banter and points of view in this sub during the season. Thanks to all the Redditors! Been great to see so many of our Cubbies get better and better as the season wore on. Let’s go and sweep the Padres!

  10. Oli Marmol said he walked Busch because he’s “here to try to win games”. Nice job losing all 3, Oliver

  11. What a hell of a year to finally become a Cubs fan. The summer was rough, but I’ve got some hope again. Either way, I’m looking forward to the future.

  12. Excited for the postseason, grateful that they made so many games so meaningful throughout the summer. There’s something so sad about the regular season ending.
