  1. Well there were a lot of ups and downs. No idea what to expect with next year, hopefully new ownership does good things.

    See yall in the spring!

  2. I was really, really, really hoping to see something. Anything. Just one win in the final series of the season. Some life. I don’t care about Yankees playoffs. I just wanted to see the Rays win. A victorious edition of Rays Live post game.

We need pitching holy shit Neander you better get some arms you buffoon

  3. Junior not breaking the record hurts. He was at 39 with over 30 games to go and I said on this sub-Reddit he would have to slump pretty significantly with his power to not break that record, and unfortunately that’s exactly what happened. Still a hell of a year for him. Rest of the team is ass.

  4. Despite everything; I had fun. That month of June was some of the most fun I’ve had at a ball game; and the future’s bright with our young bats. Was great to see the rise of Simpson and Mangum, and Junior’s breakout season. Next year; hoping to add to our pitching, and for the love of GOD fire the damn hitting coach. We need to shake it up. We have so much potential, just hoping for new ownership to give us the means to unlock it. NO MORE AAA LINEUPS PLEASEEEE. As always gentleman, it’s been an honor, and I’ll see you next year.

  5. Thus ends the Stu Sternberg chapter of the Tampa Bay Rays. Can’t wait to be back home at the Trop next year and for the new ownership group to begin!

Time to get ready for Lightning season, but it’s always Rays Up!!!

  6. Well super disappointing second half of the year, but a lot of encouraging signs for the future. Need to invest in some bullpen help and maybe one more proven bat and I think we’re back to contending next year.

  7. Looking forward to new ownership, new ideas, and changing the culture back to a championship mentality.

And for fuck’s sake, hire a goddamn GM. Two years of losing seasons is plenty of evidence the FO not replacing Bendix was a mistake. Just look at the Marlins with 79 wins. And their pitching coach is calling games, not their catchers. Is it the right move? Who knows, but nobody can say Bendix isn’t innovating.

Let’s see some new innovative shit from the Rays again!

  8. The fat lady sang!

Enjoyed talking baseball with you. Looking forward to an improved 2026 season, a return to the Trop, return of the injured and watching Junior and Aranda mature. Fun times ahead.

  9. Yeah, that’s about how I expected this year to end. At least we went down screwing over the Yankees. See you all in February when pitchers and catchers report.

  10. I’ll miss Rays baseball, but I sure won’t miss this version of it.

I’ll see you folks around the sub in the offseason. Let’s hope we get news to celebrate.

  11. Flip our one run record and we get into the playoffs. Games like today didn’t define our season. Close games did.

We got some great bats to build around. The pitching needs a lot of work and maybe we can spend some money there.

  12. My highlight this season was going to fanfest, meeting Brandon Lowe, asking him “30 bombs this year?” He said “we’ll see” and I responded “I believe”. He did it!

  13. It’s been an exhausting season. Kind of glad it’s over. Excited for this new ownership which hopefully will lead to retaining players, new stadium, new uniforms, and a new attitude
