Reds reaction, locker room celebration after winning NL wild card spot in 2025 MLB playoffs

[Music] Good job. [Music] [Applause] Wrong way. There we go. [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] Come on. [Applause] [Music] Come here. Hallelujah. [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] Oh my god. [Music] nation essentially the face that had our backs against the wall and our guys did not quit, man. So proud of these guys, man. This [ __ ] awesome. This is what we play for. This feel is addicting and all these young guys that are experiencing it for the first time, man. This what you you want to live in this moment. You guys were you guys were right down like one more loss and that’s not it. Yeah, they thought it’d be a miracle for us to get here, but we believed from the beginning, man. We believed when we were down and out. We believed in free training. We believed in what we could do and who we are, man. And we showed that. What made you confident here? We kept we kept fighting, man. We got a bunch of fighters in this team. Relentless group of guys. We just kept going, man. And we played our style of ball when it mattered most. What was your favorite part of the celebration of like who did you see that you really like I want to throw all these [ __ ] guys. All of them. All of them. It hasn’t been easy for any one of us. And we’re [ __ ] here. We’re doing it. Anything can happen. I’m here. This is what he asked me. What’s it going to take to beat those guys? You know what? Playing our style of baseball, man. Buying into it. I think we have. We bought into who we are and anything can happen in the playoffs, man. It’s hard to play a scrappy team in the playoffs. That’s who we are. Absolutely, [Music] man. We we we don’t give up a fight and we keep going, man. Right. [Applause] [Music] Got to be [Applause] ready.

Depspite losing their season finale, the Cincinnati Reds secured the National League’s final wild-card spot, thanks to their 4-2 head-to-head record against the New York Mets this season.

The Reds locker room celebration erupted postgame, just days before they return to the field against the reigning World Series champions, the Los Angeles Dodgers.

  1. Q. What do you call 40 millionaires sitting at home watching the World Series on TV ?
    A. The New York Mets.
They had the Wild Card in the palm of their hand. And blew it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Cincinnati, Ohio thanks you. un-honking-believable !!!

  2. Congrats Reds from a Rays fan. You guys DESERVE IT. You NEVER stopped fighting or believing in yourselves. And the fans stuck with you all through thick n' thin and got rightfully rewarded. Good luck to Zak Littel (former Ray), and all of Cincinnati!!. Now go whipped some Dodger ASS!!

  3. I thought Tito use the right lineup for Sunday it didn’t work he’s got to replace the ninth better and he don’t bunny now them again what do I know I need to use the sacrifice but once in a while what is squeeze

  4. I know Pete rose is loving this right now!

Nick Martinez is right they gotta play fundamental baseball. Dodgers are a very tough team to beat. All it takes is 1 game out of the 3 to win and the momentum is earned. If we can do that we gotta chance at going to the NLDS! Just gotta take it a day at a time! Let’s go Reds!

  5. My Dodgers going to sweep ya’ll. It’s sad how you celebrate when you lost and still in the playoffs 😂. Fight On To Victory And Go Dodgers ✌️✌️✌️☝️💪😎

  6. As bad as the Tigers choked away the AL Central title to the Guardians, at least the Tigers will still be in the playoffs. The Mets had a 6 game lead for the final wild card spot as recently as 3 weeks ago and they blew it.

  7. The Mets didn’t deserve the final wildcard spot, but the Reds didn’t deserve it either. They literally lost their final game with the season on the line, and just got lucky that their opposition didn’t take advantage. Terrible teams playing for that last spot 😂

  8. I am a Dodger fan but this is why baseball is the greatest of all American sports and will continue to be. Its completely unpredictable. Baseball a few more wild card spots after expansion in the next few years.
