First base is going to be interesting, but if everything clicks, as it seems to every year for Cleveland, they’ll be right in the thick of things. And Cleveland is swept by Detroit and have now dropped 10 in a row. It’s their longest losing streak since over a decade ago. Gut-wrenching, heart-wrenching. This game felt like a kick in the pants. The offense has gone silent and their fate playoff hopes have been reduced to a grim flicker. We have to be better. We have to be better. They’ve had opportunities. They’re in these ball games time and time again. They’ve been pitching that well for a long time. Now it’s time for the offense to kick in. Guardians have shocked the Astros. Third consecutive ball game. Ramirez in a home run. Oh, what a catch he just made. On the heels of their 10game losing streak. They have now won 11 of 13. Steven Quan delivers high breaking single strength three. And the Guardians are oh so much back in it. Guardians are too smart of an organization to buy at this point. Blue Jays. They add Shane Bieber. Guardians will in fact take that momentum they were seeking and then chase down one of those wildard spots. Swing and Messi got him. Two outs away from history. Gavin Williams. All these teams that are in front of them, they play them a ton. Swing out base hit. Game winner. Man of third. Walk off. He saved. The comeback hits strike again. No one saw this coming.
