I honestly like our chances to get to the NLCS. We got a very favorable bracket up to that point. With very limited travel. NLCS I can us going up against the Phillies which will be very tough.

I hope we knock out the Dodgers by blowing out Kershaw again in his last start ever.
Those AL wildcard matchups are gonna be toxic
On paper, avoiding either the Dodgers or Phillies to reach the NLCS is about as much as you could ask for.
Padres are scary if the Cubs don’t rough up their starters because that bullpen is among the best in recent memory for me as a squad, but that’s really the only clear strength on that team over the Cubs imo (besides Tatis of course). Great to be playing at Wrigley and not Petco though.
Brewers are the Brewers, idk what else to say. Their starting rotation without Woodruff makes it a lot more manageable. Freddy is great but then it’s a whole lot of young guys or Q if they choose that route, and their bullpen is good-to-great but not unbeatable to me. I actually think the Cubs are the worst matchup out of any NL team for the Brewers since they _should_ outslug them and greatly suppress their run production with their elite defense. No other NL team has that combo (Phils got the slug but bad defense, same with Dodgers).
Regardless though, these are all great teams with few holes
It’s wild to me that the Reds made it in. Good for them.
Three NL Central teams as everyone predicted.
So AL is the good guys and the bad guys and 1 of each will play in the ALCS?
My wishful thinking is that we have a shot to make it to the NLCS. If we somehow beat the Padres, Im hoping that the Brewers will be rusty with the layoff they will have. I don’t believe we would beat The Phillies or Dodgers.
But its playoff baseball, anything can happen.
Feels kinda full circle that we started the year facing the west coast teams and now ending with a duel against the padres
is this going to be a repeat of 15 and 16? or will we jump right to beating cleveland in the world series this year?:
