missing guys like Alvarez and then you had a lot of players like Bregman, Tucker exit stage left. And so you have a situation where you have a team trying to reinvent themselves. Christian Walker, he led the team in home runs and RBI’s, but at the same time he struggled for most of the part of the year and really got really hot towards in the year. But if he would have been a little bit more consistent throughout the year, played better at home, maybe you would got the same amount of wins. Astros simply choked in last nine games. Win one at home against Mariners or two against the A’s or not blow first game against Angels. Just pulling one of those games and Sstros are in. They choked. Period.
Can't keep overpaying guys that are hurt and not producing. Keep the young guys! Zach Cole, Cam Smith, Dezenzo, Matthews.
Do we want a gold glove first baseman who hits for average or one who lead the team in home runs this season?
Walking in the winning run in that tiger series really hurt, hunter brown pitched a gem 💎 and walked in the winning run, that would have been the difference
They had a great year in my book. Consider the injury s. That’s why we don’t get into the playoffs. Period
