EDMONTON OILERS VS VANCOUVER CANUCKS LIVE | OILERS FAN REACTION & COMMENTARY

Have we made it? Are we live? I believe we are. I think we’re here. Ready to go, folks. Beauty. Beauty. All right. Who’s locked in tonight? Who’s locked in? I know I’m locked in. Hey, I appreciate it, Brendan. Thank you so much. I always see you commenting on the videos. I appreciate it. What? What do you mean? What do you mean, Erica? What? Rage bait. Hi, Ash. How you doing? Good to see you again. Also, I was early. Nobody can say I was late today. I technically went live like 30 seconds early. Hey, what’s going on, Greg? How are you? Good to see you again. I’m tired and exhausted debating if I want to join the stream or uh or or what. No, you’re not late, Chilled. You’re not late. You’re vibing. We’re all vibing, actually. What’s going on, trench boys? Hey, what’s going on, 4B? Good to see you again. When do you think puck drop is? Uh 8 minutes, seven or eight minutes or so. Something like that. Something like that. Something of that nature. Yes, this one is on TV. Um this one is on Sports tonight. Who’s in net today? It’s Steuart Skinner. We got Stu going up against a very AHLheavy lineup for Vancouver. The Oilers are going with a veteran lineup and Vancouver is going with an AHL lineup. So, if Stu gives up more than two goals tonight, we’re going to have a discussion. N you’re good, Ty. That’s why I only timed you out for one minute cuz I know that you didn’t mean anything bad about it. I was just having some fun. I don’t like Kane being on the wrong team now. Yeah, he can go and take some really bad penalties on Vancouver now instead of Edmonton. Yeah, this game’s on Sportsnet tonight. Damen says, “Oilers five, connects four and OT.” I like that. A crash out. No, no. Well, no. I wouldn’t say a crash out, but we will have a discussion. We will have a dialogue. What am I being prompted by YouTube for? Hey Matt, how you doing? Hey Dimma, how you doing? Good to see you again. That’s why I did a Mia Yanmark poll just to uh we we have fun here. We have fun here. Trench boys say 3, Vancouver 1. I like it. My knee is hurting. Yo, did you have knee surgery too? Just like Bararkov. 52 Oilers. Seavoy goal and assist. I’d like to see it. Actually, I don’t know if Seavo is in the is Seavoy in the lineup. Seavo is not in the lineup tonight. Here, I’ll go I’ll show you all the lineup tonight. Here’s the lineup officially posted by the Mton Oilers 20 minutes before pug drop. Thank you so much for allowing me to do my pregame reports in a timely timely manner. Uh top line, dry cidle with McDavid and Trent Frederick. Second line, Howard, uh Nent Hopkins, and Mjapani. Third line, you have Lazar, Philip, Kain. Fourth line, you have Samansky, Tomasekk, and Quinn Hudson. This is a good look for these three players specifically. I don’t know who all makes it on the team from those three, but this is a great opportunity for them to show a little bit more than Curtis Lazar. On defense, you have Ekholm with Bousard, Denine with Emerson, Lapinan with Regula. Now, Regula is a very, very interesting prospect here. And then goalenders, you have Skinner and Tomkins. Do not know if Tomkins is going to get any playing time tonight. Also, this game is in Edmonton, but we’re getting the Vancouver broadcasters for some reason. You just love to see that. Hey, what’s going on, Gold? Uh, yes, Mr. NHL. Yes. Demco is in tonight for Vancouver. That’s correct. From Panthers fan, I hope Em wins it all this year. Hey, I appreciate that, Damian. I appreciate that. Here for a preseason game. I mean, you’ve popped in periodically so far. Danny, how you doing? Yo, TGN, how you doing? Welcome back. Uh, yes, McDavid will be here. I mean, they’re not bad announcers. Hey, James. How you doing? No. Come on, Erica. I’m going to need you to just I’m going to need you to get back on the Matias Yanberg train. We’re going all in on Matias Yandmark this year. Yo, it’s going on foot. Is this free on Sports Set? I think you need sports. Well, like if you have a TV package, you can watch on Sportsnet. Uh, otherwise you have to pay. My apologies for Sportsnet Plus. Loving the Blue Jays right now. Me too. We’re wearing the Jays hat today. They won the American League East division today. They had to they had to sweep. They had to sweep the uh Rays to get it done because the Yankees, they they finished the season hot. So, would I ever collab with Oilers Nation if they asked? Of course I would. Why not? I love the boys over at Oilers Nation. I interact with uh quite a few of them fairly regularly. Now, the thing is though, I don’t like if I ever collabed with them, like I’m not trying to become a media member. Like, it’s not something that I would want to do regularly. I love the lane that we’re in here on the Austin YouTube channel. I like doing what I do without the pressure of anyone above my head kind of telling me what type of content to make and things like that. But it would be pretty cool to um be able to branch out just like a little bit. Hey, I’m doing good. Ty, I hope you’re doing well. How are you doing? It’s just nothing. I become non-existent. And diamond bags. There you go. Do you think I will hit 100,000 subs? Absolutely not. Um, being a hockey creator is already like fairly niche on the platform of YouTube and then to to to get to 100,000 subscribers for predominantly Oilers content. Yes, there are a lot of Oilers fans, but I I just don’t think that would ever happen unless I had some clips go absolutely ridiculously viral, but even still that it would be pushing it. I’ I’d have to really branch out my content into like non Oilers content and like I don’t want to do non Oilers content. Yeah, but you got first place, so it it must have been a good idea. Erica, I’m glad I’m glad you did well. I’m glad it all went well. Hopefully your ankle’s okay and you can rest it for a bit. Hey, no, that’s fair for me. That’s fair. Listen, not all of us will like what certain creators do. I know there are a lot of Oilers fans that really dislike me, and that is super fair. Uh, I like a lot of the Oilers Nation crew. There’s also quite a few that like I’m not a big fan of, but yeah, I guess not. Jack Michaels is on 880 Ched tonight doing the playbyplay. Yeah, I appreciate that, Jill Gree. Thank you. You’re our news guy. I do my best. The be like the guy that does the news like is usually more on top of the news than I am in oil country is Oilers fanatic. He he seems to really be on top of like the main news. Yeah. Uh not tonight, Greg. Maybe another night. You’re going to skate tomorrow? Hey, as long as your ankle’s okay. The good news is you’re young, so being able to heal fairly quickly and being able to still compete is great. If I busted up my ankle the way you did and tried to play hockey, it would be impossible for me. Hey, how you doing, Jax? Good to see you again. What would be the process for Jack to be the main playbyplay for the playoffs? He would have to become like the national broadcaster for Rogers and Sportsnet, and that is Chris Cuthbert currently. Yeah, Bararkov, he is out for the entire year. He may not even play during the playoffs, which is crazy to think about. Poor Barov. I appreciate that, Ash. Thank you. McMull is all Hey, that’s pretty cool. That’s pretty cool that you got McMull to uh do a clip, too. That’s amazing. And you know what’s even like crazier about that ACL and MCL tear for Bararkov? It wasn’t even like a knee on knee hit. He literally was just skated in practice, tried to cut into the middle of the ice and like his ACL and MCL just blew out. Like I don’t understand. It’s pretty cool. If you got anyone from Oilers Nation to do it, that’d be awesome. I hope Steu also plays well. Hoping for a good game from Stu. I I don’t know about that vehicle. I don’t think so. I think Bararkov’s clean. I think he’s I think he’s a clean player. He’s a Oh, there you go, Damian. You were a Panthers fan when they did not have many fans in the in the building. But the puck has dropped here. I guess I have to get this clock going. Puck into the middle of the ice. Mapani can’t come up with it. Here’s Marcus Patterson. Sends the puck in deep and around the boards into the oil zone. Denine trying to come up with it. Here’s Denine now in the corner. Gives it to Howard. Howard with a shifty little play to Mapani. Mjapani across to Nan Hopkins. He’ll try and find Mapani again. And oh man, he almost found Ike Howard who was kind of cutting in the middle there. Almost a good opportunity. Person sends the puck back to center. So the Cucks threw a couple hits early in this game. 1914 to play here. Oilers making a change. Here’s McDavid now out there with Dry Cidle. Oh man. And Dry Cidle goes down. Uh hit an invisible banana peel or something. Not sure what happened to Dry Cidle. Vancouver, they’ll steal a puck. Send it up. Dump it in deep. Evan Bousard chases after it. Puck will come loose to Dry Cidle. Threeon- two for Edmonton. He’ll give the puck to Trent Frederri to Dry Cidle. He’ll into the middle to Frederri trying to find him in the middle of the ice and unable to get a shot off. Someone’s stick just like fell and exploded. Don’t know what happened there. Withers with possession and pressure. Here’s Dry Cidle to McDavid. Conor McDavid walks in into the middle. Here’s Dry Cidle trying to flip it in. He still has a chance. Oh man, what a save. And now it’s in the net. Conor McDavid put it in. It’s one nothing Edmonton. What on earth was that all about? Just a scramble there. McDavid or Dryside will put that in. I’m not sure who it was. Also, thank you Flee for once again becoming a member of the Austin Hockey YouTube channel. I appreciate that. For six months. Let’s go. Uh what a goal for Tricidle. McDavid tried to center it out in front. Leon with one chance hit Frederick. Another opportunity and then it came to McDavid and then yeah, he ended up putting it into the net. What a what a terri That’s just a 10 out of 10 goal. All right, Oilers with an early one- nothing lead here just over a minute into the game. Here’s Noah Phelp on the for check. He steals the puck, gives it to Curtis Lazar. Curtis Lazar behind the Kucks net. He tries to do a wraparound. It comes out in front here. Noah Phelp behind the goal. Oilers putting on more pressure. Here’s Noah Phelp. He’ll reverse it once again behind Vancouver’s net. Phelp centers it out in front to Lazar, but that’s picked off by the Canucks defender. Regula trying to keep the play alive. He does for a moment, but he is pressured out of the zone. Regula being pressured by two Canucks. He’ll play it back to his defense. Noah Phelp, he’ll circle behind his own net and wait for a change here. Calmly just puts it in. Yeah. behind the Oilers goal. Oilers will skate it up the middle of the ice. Regula dumps it in deep. Quinn Hudson’s going to chase after it. Hudson on the forch check. Oh, Tomasek almost cut that play off. Puck in the middle of the ice now. Here’s Lebate for the Canucks. Tomasek in the corner checking trying to come up with it. Or Samansky, sorry. Here’s McKenzie McKickern. Is that how you say his name on Vancouver? Oh my god, there’s so many players on Vancouver. I’m not going to pronounce their names correctly. I do apologize. Here’s Samansky now in the middle of the ice trying to find Quinn Hudson and he’ll just send that into the Canucks zone. Yeah, Conor McDavid put one in already. Here come the Vancouver Conucks. Now here’s Heronic across the ice. Here’s Sherwood with a shot. Stopped by Steuart Skinner. Puck was kept in for a moment by Vancouver. Skinner plays it to Bousard who sends it across to Echolome. Echome into the middle for Ike Howard. Here’s Ike Howard. He tried to find Majapani on the left wing there, but Mapani didn’t read that well. And Bousard pinches forward. Can’t come up with the puck. Here’s Sassin for the Conucks now. Puck will be sent in deep. Ike Howard behind his net to Buchard. Oh, Bousard with a play right in front of his own net. And there’s a one-timer by Joseph that hit the post. Here’s another chance for Vancouver. And that puck goes out of play. Oh my goodness. Booard with a 10 bell giveaway. And then Vancouver ended up hitting the post. Jeez. Don’t worry. It’s preseason. Bouch is going to lock in any minute. It’ll lock in any minute, folks. Here’s Didle. Oh man, nice little play to get that into the neutral zone, but uh McDavid just couldn’t come up with it. Here’s Karatzv for the Canucks. He’ll play that puck behind you where there’s man. Oh, McDavid may have got away with a bit of a hitting from behind or cross-checking penalty, but play through the middle of the ice. McDavid gives it away once again. Vancouver keeps the play alive. You can tell it’s preseason. Boys are looking a little off right now. Here’s Sudter. Pass to the blue line. Joseph can’t make it to the net. Here’s Heedle into the middle of the ice. Thrown towards the Oilers’s goal. Oh man, another bad giveaway by Edmonton. Here’s a backhander on Skinner with the save and he had to uh come up with a big save once again. Oilers are kind of mucking around in their own zone right now. Hey, what’s going on, Christian? Who scored? It was Conor McDavid. He scored. I’m a Cox fan. I’m not expecting us to win since we don’t have our superstars playing in this one. Yeah. No. Uh still cheering for them. I mean, of course, you got to cheer for them. Uh because statistically never lucky, Bousard actually has a very low turnover rate compared to how much time he’s on the ice and how often the Oilers are usually in a positive direction with the puck. When you’re on the ice for uh 25 to 30 minutes a night, you’re going to have a lot of a lot of giveaways. You’re going to have a lot of turnovers. McDavid is usually in the top turnover category. So is Dry Cidle. But you have to look at their turnover rate. How many turnovers per 60 minutes? Statistically, Evan Bousard is pretty good at his turnover rate. It’s just the turnovers that Bard has are usually just like so bad that we’re all just left scratching our heads. Here’s Elias Patterson. He keeps the puck alive. Regula behind the Oilers net. He’s battling with Coots. Noah Phelp for Edmonton. Puck through the middle of the ice. And here comes Regula. He’s going to step in. Centers it across the ice to Lazar. Just out of his reach. He’ll play it back to Philp who’s covering for Regula at the point. Vancouver will skate it through. Threeon two for the Conucks. Here comes Vancouver into the middle of the ice. Oh man, and almost baseballalled into the net by the Canucks here. And uh cap it in with a unforced giveaway, but both teams are going to make a change here with 1450 to play. Here’s a play in the middle of the ice. Tomasek waits for it to stop bouncing around. M uh Samansky with a shot and that goes high and out of play off of a stick. Yo, what’s going on, Nicholas? How you doing? I want chicken alfredo a couple days ago. Offensive zone draw. Samansky can’t come up with it. Here’s Forbort for the Conucks. Deflected in deep. Skinner out of his net around the boards along the half wall. Emmonton can’t come up with it. Ronic keeps the play alive. Good job by Tomasek to come in on the back check. He’ll find Emerson. Emerson to Tomasek across the ice to Samansky who tried to chip it forward and then chase after it but oh man look at Tomasek on the forcheek. He causes a turnover once again. Tomasek across. Here’s a shot from the point. Good save by Demco. Puck behind the Kucks net. Mapani can’t come up with it. Emerson keeps the play alive. Here’s Mapani trying to center it in front. Nobody was there. The Oilers are in the middle of a change and Vancouver will send it down on the icing. 1343 to play here in the first. Uh, my bad, Erica. My bad. I I was hungry. Yeah, McDavid scored like a minute into the game. Trench boys. Frozen chicken breast with bland. Oh, yeah. I know. You got to you got to have something else. You you got to have something else with it. Here’s a draw one by the Oilers. Here’s a shot deflected on to Demco who makes a good reactionary save. Echome keeps the puck in the Kuck zone. Nan Hopkins on his backhand. He tries to center it to Howard. Ike Howard on the for check. Can’t quite come up with it. And puck into the neutral zone. Bard plays it forward. Ike Howard with Majapani. They’ll chase after it in the corner. Here’s a giveaway. Here’s a chance in front. Oh man. Nan Hopkins can’t get a shot off. Marcus Person. He uh he kind of slid into the feet of Nan Hopkins who couldn’t make a play with the puck. Here’s Bousard behind his net now. He spins away from a check. Bousard throws it up the right wing. Puck deflected in. That’s not going to be icing on Em. 1256 to play here. Puck sent in by Vancouver. Here’s Lapinan to Regula. Regula across the ice. Here’s Dry Cidle. Dry Cidle on his backhand. He’ll play it back to Lepenin. Lepenan on his forehand. Plays it up the right wing to Leon Dryidle off of his stick. He’ll chase after it though. Leon against Person. Causes a turnover. Trent Frederick now to Regula. And that’s stopped by Demco. Trent Frederick on the forche again. Keeps the cycle alive to Dry Settle. What a pass to McDavid and he one times it past the net. Well, that was a good good pass by Dry Cidle. Good chance by McDavid. Dry Cidle in the middle to McDavid again. Oh my god, McDavid. Oh, and then Trent Frederick took someone into the net. I don’t Oh jeez. Well, this top line for him had some looks. McDavid almost put that into an open net once again, but Trent Frederick decided to take out a Vancouver defender and just take the net with him. It It looked like NHL 26 when you push someone into the net and then the net just gets stuck to the player and then they try and skate away. Yeah. Um I don’t want to talk about it, Fizz. The Oilers management has not been very good for a long time. Yo, how you doing, Kyle? Good to see you again. If Vancouver wins this with their B squad, I wouldn’t even be surprised because we got Stew in net for Edmonton. So, sorry Stew making Demco look like a bobblehead. Broberg didn’t like not matching Broberg made sense. Like in no world was Broberg worth4.5 million or whatever he signed for. Holloway is the one that I will always be upset about forever. Should have matched Holloway all day every day. Yo, I agree. Alex Tomasek has been very very good. Also, we’re going to get our kitty kitty cam here. Uh thoughts on Sebastian Kosa still being an option possible mid-season trade. I don’t know. I haven’t seen enough of Sebastian Kosa to like really know if that would be like the the goalie they should be going after. Yo, Erica, you’re going to get banned, bro. Nightbot’s going to see that. They’re going to see that that you’re you’re you’re talking smack and violence towards Kittykitty. What did Kitty Kitty do to you? How’s your orange cat doing, Franklin? I’m sure he’s doing amazing right now. Oh, he’s probably somewhere in another room just just uh begging for food cuz he’s always hungry. How confident am I this season for the Oilers? Uh I’m fairly confident. I would say like on a scale of like on an A to F scale for how good the Oilers should be. I like my confidence levels at like a B+. Franklin for defense. Hey, what’s going on, Sumina? Uh, so far the Oilers are doing good. They’ve had some good chances. McDavid has a goal already. Of course, it is just preseason, so I couldn’t tell you. Never lucky. Couldn’t tell you. I’m better than Josh Brown. Pretty sure everyone’s better than Josh Brown. I think Ingram once he like works through what once he is able to like get his game back in in the AHL just with how much he’s dealt with like emotionally, mentally, um I think it’s good to give him that time and space, but he’s still an upgrade in my opinion on what we currently have in net. Lepin has been good. I’ve liked Lepedin a lot. Uh, statistically, Jade Skinner is one of the worst starting goalenders in the entire league. But the team does win hockey games, I think, in spite of him, not because of him. He does have his moments though. When when Stu Skinner gets hot, like he gets hot. We’ve seen him go on those runs where for two or three months he’s just lights out, but then there’s like a month or two where he’s just awful. Oh, and keep seeing 37 thinking it’s Fogle. I honestly don’t think it will take a huge hit, Quy. I think most fans um are pretty indifferent or don’t even know because mainstream media won’t report on it. Here’s a play kept in by Kaan in the Canucks zone, but Vancouver, they’ll just easily skate that out of trouble. Here comes Okconor for the Canucks. He’ll play it to the right wing. Puck towards the net and that’s stopped by Steuart Skinner. Here’s Noah Phelp. He’ll put that puck off the glass into the neutral zone as the Oilers are looking for a change. Bronick dumps the puck into the Oilers zone. Around the boards, Tomasek plays it forward. Quinn Hudson can’t come up with it. Oh, nice stick by who was that for Edmonton? That was Cam Denine who initially was able to get the puck away from trouble, but Sherwood keeps the play alive. Here come the Oilers now. Puck forward. Tomasek just out of his reach. Quinn Hudson can’t grab it. Here’s Tai Emerson now for Edmonton. Hey, no problem, Ash. No problem. Not everyone enjoyed that video and I don’t blame them. Oh man, here’s a spinarama backhand by Vancouver. I don’t know who that was. Heedle maybe. Yeah, Philip Heedle with a good chance but missed the net on his attempt. Oilers will just get the puck into the Canucks zone. Here’s Person now. He’ll just flip that puck in from center. Matias Echo reverses to Bousard into the middle of the ice. And here’s Ike Howard. Bit of a giveaway, but he’ll keep fighting for it. He’s body now. Howard can’t grab the puck. Bard into no man’s land. Vancouver will skate that in. Here come the Canucks with a dump in deep. Here’s Lebate behind the Oilers goal. Bard, he gives him a check. steals it. Nice job by Bousard. Good check. And then he gets the puck out of trouble as the Oilers come back on transition, but Nan Hopkins loses the as it’s broken up. Puck will be sent down into the Oilers zone. Here’s Alec Regula up the right boards. It’s going to come to Maani into the middle of the ice for Nan Hopkins. He’ll play it across and here’s a shot. What a save. Wow. Who was that on Em Lepen joined the rush? Got a great shot off. Here’s Regula. He’s being all kinds of tied up. Man, what a shot by Lepin. I didn’t even notice him come in. Here comes Dry Cidle now trying to find McDavid in the middle. Regula steals it back. Here’s Dry Cidle to McDavid. McDavid skates it into the Kuck zone with some speed. He’ll try and give it to Dry Cidle. Puck kept in by Bousard. Eko with a shot and that hits a body in front. Might have hit his own man in Frederick. Here’s Leon Dryidle now for the Oilers on his forehand. And he’ll play it back to Bousard across to Ekholm. Left point. Echolome towards the net. That’s an easy save by Demco. McDavid keeps the play alive. Here’s Ekhome. He’ll find Dry Cidle. Dry Cidle back to McDavid. Left circle. McDavid cuts in and nice job by Assassin to steal it as Edmonton will quickly bring it right back in though. Good break up in the neutral zone. Dry Cidle to McDavid. High slot with a shot. Stopped by Demco. Rebound and Trent Frederick puts it into the net. Two nothing Edmonton. See, that’s that’s what we need to see from Freddy, right? McDavid and Didtle are gonna do their thing. McDavid and Dry Settle are gonna do their thing. We need Frederick to just crash the crease and stick that puck in there. You know what I’m saying? Also, uh I predicted 5-3 Oilers with a Frederick goal. Let’s see if that comes to fruition. Just going to point that out. Nice job by Frederick there. He got into kind of an open area. Nobody was covering him at the top of the crease and it’s two nothing Edmonton. Nice to see for Frederick. Yes, it is an AHL lineup for Vancouver, but whatever chemistry if if Frederick is going to be forced to play with Leon and Connor, let them build that chemistry together. So, Leon Dryidle, Conor McDavid, and Trent Frederick all have two points. Frederick with a goal and assist. Dry Cidle with two assists, and McDavid with a goal and an assist. Oh, that’s awesome, Cass. I love that. That’s amazing. Hi, Cooper. I hope you’re doing well. I heard you went to the game the other night, Cooper, against Seattle. I hope you I hope you enjoyed that game. I I hope it was a lot of fun for you. Uh I I don’t know. I don’t know, Sina. I don’t know when he’ll be back. Here’s Regula in the neutral zone. He’ll send the puck in deep on the backhand. Nice job by Hudson. Gets it on the forche. Tomas can’t grab it. Regula’s going to pinch forward. There was good support by Samansky. Samansky across to Lepedan off of his skate. Tomasek going after it now. Quinn Hudson pucking his feet. Can’t grab it. Here comes Heedle for the Canucks. Philip Heedle through the neutral zone. Oh man, he’s got lots of speed. Nice job by Lepin to force him to the outside though. Here’s Blaze around the boards. Regula has been on the ice it feels like the whole period. It seems like every time I look up, he’s he’s out there making a play. Here’s Ronic. He’ll play it back to Carlson. Carlson for the Canucks to Forbort. He’ll give it to Heronic. Ronic sends that puck into the Oiler zone and that’s going to be icing on Vancouver. He doesn’t understand why he can’t go to every game. We’ll just tell tell dad to open up the the wallet. Tell dad to open up that wallet and get season seats and then he can go to every game. What do you think? I think that’s a great idea. Uh I would say Lepin is more NHL ready than right now than uh Regula, but I do like Regula’s game a lot. But I like Lepin for his skating and his offensive instincts. Here’s a faceoff one by Edmonton. Echome towards the net and that’s stopped by Demco right into the glove. 643 to play here. I I have like I have liked uh Regula’s play and I do I do think Regula if he didn’t have to go on waiverss it would be good to see him in the AHL because he didn’t play at all last season. He needs probably about 20 games in the AHL just to like get up to speed entirely for Cons. Oh my god. That’s true, Quy. That’s true. There’s a there’s a bit of a log jam with left-handed shot defenseman right now on the team. Hey, if Trent Frederick can do this fairly consistently, listen, we’re not asking for like a ton of goals from Frederick. But if he can at least keep his own, handle his own with McDavid and Dry Cidle, we’re in good hands here. Who scored? You have a goal from Trent Frederick there, Colby, and a goal from Conor McDavid. That line uh combined has both goals. What number would I pick for a jersey? Now, uh, my favorite number and my favorite player for a long time in Boston, uh, was Jake De Brrisk. So, 74. But if I got a jersey with 74 on it right now, people will think I’m supporting Steve Skinner, even though I, you know, but 74 is what I wear in like NHL 26 in uh, World of Chell. So, hey, what’s going on, Lola? Uh Trent Frederick and Conor McDavid scored for Edmonton. I will stop watching on time. Yeah, look at that Kyle. Let’s go. Where 22 Seavoy is Seavoy will be goated with the sauce. You know what I’m saying? Here’s an offensive zone faceoff for the Oilers. One back to the point. Here’s a shot by Lepin and that goes wide. Nice job by Edmonton. They keep it in. Mapani trying to find Howard. Here’s Nan Hopkins. He’ll give that puck across. Here’s Emerson. Emerson down low to Mapani. He takes a hit from behind. No call, but McDavid got away with one of those earlier, so it all evens out, folks. Puck comes around the half wall. Ike Howard tried to keep the play alive, but he couldn’t. Yo, please see what’s going on. Here’s a backhand by Denine towards Demco. They’re I don’t know if they’ll credit him with a shot there. kind of a weak backhand, but soft hands and he’s massive. Yep. Now, I don’t disagree with that, Cheese Wiz. Another offensive zone draw for the Oilers. And for a veteran heavy lineup for Edmonton, a very AHL heavy lineup for the Canucks. You expect the Oilers to win these games. You expect the Oilers to be able to put the puck in the net here. Even though it is Demco in the crease. McDavid will play back to Buchard towards the Canucks goal. Puck will bounce around to Dry Cidle. Dry Cidle protects. Keeps the play alive. Back hands. Oh man, he almost found McDavid. Oh, and then McDavid steals it. He tried to center it out to Dry Cidle. Yo, Fley, thank you for the $2. Say Anmark 20 times to make her cry. Forgot forgot Erica’s name. No, here’s Dry Cidle. He hangs on to it. Gives it to Atcom across the ice to Buchard. Evan Bousard with a hard rim into the Canucks zone. It’s going to be left by Frederick McDavid on the forche to Trent Frederick. He tries to put it in the middle of the ice, but that puck went to no man’s land and Vancouver will send it out. Here’s Echome. Sends the puck back in the conduct zone. Do it at the end of the stoppage. Erica, if you go to a mirror, turn off the lights in your bathroom, stare at the mirror, and say Matis Yanmark three times. He’ll appear in the mirror. He’ll appear for you. Here’s Coots with a nice stop. And Okconor just couldn’t get a shot off on the Oilers’s net. Vancouver with the puck now. Leer Macki trying to get the cycle going here. Okconor to the point. Vancouver now looking for some pressure. Loses it to Lepin. Here comes Lepin. Smooth skater. He’ll put that off the glass. He tried to find Kain and that’s going to be icing on Edmonton. Yeah, what’s going on? Yeah, sorry I’m late. Our first line first line is cooking tonight. Yeah, and also you never have to apologize, my friend. Nobody’s ever late. Nobody’s ever late. Also, I should probably end that poll. Hey, let’s end the poll. We don’t need to keep the poll going. Is Yandmark the goat? Absolutely. Puck into the Oiler zone behind the net to Lepin. Lepin across the ice into the middle. Here’s Regula. Regula skates it in the Canucks zone. He’s going to be rubbed off along the boards. Pause. Canucks break it up. Oh man, nice shot by Kapan to initially keep the play alive, but the Canucks will get it out. Here’s Baines. Baines for Vancouver. Pressured by Regula. Baines around the boards. Oilers having to defend once again. Puck comes to Lepedin. Leped in behind his goal. He has it stolen. It’s centered in front. Wraparound attempt. Doesn’t make it. Here’s Person now to Patterson. Patterson and Patterson. H. No Kane tonight. No Kaner. What? I didn’t say nothing. Here’s Regula behind his net waiting for reinforcements. Puck thrown up the ice. Here’s Majapani. Almost got a breakaway. Majapani reverses it. Puck thrown towards the goal. That’s stopped by Demco. Stolen again by Edmonton. Here’s a play in front. What a save by Demco and Howard. The Others are trying to shove it in. It’s still loose. They’re jamming at it. And Demco manages to hang on. Oh my goodness gracious. I don’t know how Demco stopped those. Ike Howard had two glorious opportunities. to get a goal. But uh Demco keeps this a twogoal game. It’s diabolical. Quite having three Persons on one team. It’s diabolical. Vancouver collecting Persons like they’re Infinity Stones, man. Stream’s always behind. It’s always behind. What’s going on, Johnny? Good to see you again, my friend. Did I see your new kitty kitty? What? You got a new kitty? I don’t think I’ve seen your new kitty. I think Demco’s just trying to survive tonight. Oh, it’s on the Discord. Let’s Let’s pull it up. Let’s pull it up. Where’s your kitty? Where did you post it? Or are you messing with me? Yeah, I would have liked to see a better lineup from Vancouver, but they’ll ice their number one lineup uh in the in the last preseason game when the Oilers are in town against them. Check General. Czech General, huh? Oh my god. There’s H. It’s a cattle, right? Jesus Christ. Frank Nazar, dude, signed that big contract with Chicago and he’s putting up goals and Demco with a few glorious saves on Ike Howard there as we’re back from commercial break who scored uh goals from Conor McDavid and Trent Frederick. Face off one by Edmonton. Tried to play it across the ice but the pass got blocked. Here come the Canucks now. Nice back check by Trent Frederick. Puck. Oh, I mean another almost give away there. Dry Cidle. He throws a bit of a hook into Carlson. Vancouver trying to keep it alive. Nice job by Trent Frederick. He forces it out. Forward will give the puck to Heronic. Is the penalty coming? I don’t know what’s going on here. Tripping penalty to the Oilers. Evan Bousard. He’s having a great game so far, folks. Penalty to Bousard. Power play for Vancouver. Not so far. Nope. All right, power play for Vancouver. 257 left in the first. It’s the UA song. It’s the cat song, bro. You’ve never heard of it? It’s an absolute banger. Curtis Lazar wins the faceoff and then Emerson can’t get it out. Kept in by Heronic and Coots. He’ll try and move it forward. Coots with the shot and there’s going to be a penalty on Vancouver now for tripping. Yeah, looks like Coots is going to get Is it Coots that got the penalty? I can’t tell. Oh, yeah. Oh, it was Heedle. Heedle got the penalty. Four on four here for 152. And I actually can put the penalties on the screen now so that everyone knows like which player on each team took the penalty. That’s always fun. So good kill for the Oilers. You love to see that. Brain is still in playoff mode. Hey, I appreciate it, Kyle. Sherwood wins the faceoff. Puck behind the net. Here’s Nan Hopkins. He’ll play it back to Emerson and off of Emerson’s foot and into the neutral zone. Here’s Denine to Emerson. Emerson reverses to Denine. Here’s Denine for the Oilers. He’ll survey. looked to make a play but decided to just not make a play. You did, please. You did. Puck across the ice to Ty Emerson. He’ll skate it into the Canucks zone trying to center it out in front. Nice job by Patterson to make that defensive play. Emerson on the for check. Here’s Nan Hopkins with a shot. Demco with the save. Puck will be sent back behind the Canucks net. Mapani on the forche here. Almost forces a turnover. Person to Person. Back to Person. And I’m not joking when I say that. Here’s Coots now for the Canucks. Tried to make a play with it. Bit of a mystery. And here’s McDavid with speed. He’ll skate up the left wing. Conor McDavid. Left circle, spins around. He’ll find Echome. Echo down low to dry. Dry Cidle to Regula on the half wall. Regula spins away from a check. Keeps the puck alive. Regula will find Dry Cidle into the middle. Conor McDavid now to Dry Cidle. Here’s Leon Dryidle with a shot. And that goes way wide of the net. Just a bit outside. Here’s Derek Forbert. Drops the puck back. 25 seconds left in the fouron four. Here come the Canucks now through the neutral zone. They’ll try and play it through. And nobody there for him to steal it. Here’s Leer Macki for the Canucks to the right wing and not offside. Here’s McDavid now on the steel. Him. McDavid to dry Cidle. Dry Cidle. He holds on to it. Others with an abbreviated power play. Here’s McDavid. Now he’s going to find Bousard trying to just center it and puck kind of went to nobody. So, uh, neither team could score on 10 seconds worth of power play time. Oh, puck up the middle. Breakaway for Heedle. Walks in. Big save by Steuart Skinner. That’s a great save by Stu. Like to see that. Philip Heedle just found himself wide open there. Yeah, Tobias Skinner’s played good. Stew’s made a couple big saves. Sounds good, Erica. Good luck. You got this. The janitor or goat. Yeah, there you go. I like it. Yeah, I like that. I would be I I would approve of that message. Shots are 12 to five Edmonton. 39 seconds left in the first period. Hey, cheers Christian. I’m drinking on the job. That’s the best part of be about being self-employed here. I’m allowed to do that. Here’s a face off one by the Conucks. Shot on to Steuart Skinner and he makes another save. Marcus Person to Elias Patterson who bombed one right towards Stu and Stu just uh doesn’t let anything buy him. Job by Stu. Good positional save. He was square to the shooter. Another offensive zone draw for the Canucks here. Tomasek, he wins it. Weapon in trying to make a play. Puck kind of tied up in a few players feet and Mton will get it out. Puck will come to Person under pressure by Samansky. Tomasek plays it forward. Puck in the neutral zone. Samansky throwing some cross checks into the ribs of I don’t know who that was on Vancouver. My goodness gracious. Puck goes through a few players skates and that’s going to be icing on Edmonton. Did I watch Flurry and net last night? I did not, but I heard Mark Andre Flurry enjoyed his time. I think it’s pretty cool that um Pittsburgh did that for him. All right, another offensive zone draw for the Canucks. 12.5 seconds left in the first period. I think so. They don’t look like they sold out. Here’s a defensive zone draw for Tomasic. Got to win this one. He does. Great, great win by Tomasic. That’s going to come to Lepin. He’ll put it off the glass. Down into the neutral zone. Out of trouble. And the period is going to come to an end here with the Oilers up by two. Did they say it was sold out? That’s crazy. Oops. All right. First period intermission. Good period for the Oilers. Obviously, you would expect them to have a good period against the Vancouver Conucks AHL team tonight. Who are some Oilers you think Who are some Oilers you think are going to have better bounceback seasons? I’m hoping Davo Enrio. I don’t think I don’t think Henrik’s going to have a bounceback season, unfortunately, just with his age. I just I don’t know. There isn’t a historical precedent for someone of his age to bounce back. They usually continue to drop off unless he has his season like Cory Perry did. But yeah, maybe Ace, maybe. The Oilers had quite a few uh good looks. Derek Ryan phase. Uh in terms of who I think will have a bounceback year, I I truly do think that McDavid will have a bounceback year. I think McDavid gets much closer to 40 goals again this season. I do think McDavid hits about 40 this season. So 40 goals that is what is happening here, dude. My OBS is just tweaking out right now. How come whenever I come back, kitty cam is on? I I don’t know. Couldn’t tell you. Sometimes I forget to turn the kitty cam on. Sometimes he’s laying in his bed, which is like just over my one monitor. I can like reach my hand over. Um sometimes I forget that he’s there. Hey, Bubsy, how you doing? Appreciate it. I don’t need to say Yanmark 10 times in a row. If I get one more Kingshot ad, I’m mailing 40,000 Wasps to YouTube headquarters. Oh my god, that’s so funny. That’s so cute, Cass. I love that. Cooper, make sure you eat all your food tonight. All right. Be a good lad. Actually, don’t force yourself. I’m not I’m not your parent. Don’t listen to me. Listen Listen to your mom and dad. I paid Hey, you you paid me out of the kindness of your heart. I am not a puppet. Hey, how you doing, Gordon? Serge, good to see you again. Yeah. Yeah. Goals from uh Trent Frederick and of course Conor McDavid. Uh 10 hours straight. Oh my god. If if Yanmark scored the Stanley Cup winning goal, yes, I would. If Matias Yanmark scores the Stanley Cup winning goal, the goal that gives the Oilers the Stanley Cup, I will do a 10-hour live stream where all I do is talk about Yanmark for 10 hours straight. Not even kidding. What What kind of ad is that, Kyle? What on earth? I was going to say Regula seemed like he was out there a lot. That makes sense. Uh Trent Frederick is with Conor McDavid tonight and Leon Dryidle. I can go over the uh stats for everyone. We’ll quickly go over some of the stats. The box score McDavid from Dry Cidle and Frederick. We’ll take a look at this one. This this this goal is actually really funny. Good job by the Oilers. Keep that cycle going. McDavid had it in the slot here. Tried to play it in front of Dry Cidle. He couldn’t get it on net. He had an open net. And then McDavid, he grabs it and then he just comes in and puts it around the post to make it one- nothing Edmonton. We’ll watch that edge visualizer one more time. McDavid centered it to Dry Cidle. Couldn’t beat Demco and then McDavid steals it and goes, “You know what? I’ll just put that in the net. No worries here, folks.” And then Trent Frederick School, this was a nice one for him. He just crashed in the crease. He puts in his own rebound. Matias Ekholm kept the play alive in the neutral zone. Dry Cidle fed the puck over to McDavid in the middle of the ice and then McDavid with the shot and then Trent Frederick, he cleans up the rebound there, puts it in the net to make it two nothing Edmonton. Shots were 12 to six for the Oilers. Faceoff percentage dead even. Penalty minutes two each. Vancouver out hit the Oilers 14 to5. The Oilers had nine giveaways. And I’m pretty sure Evan Booshard had about five of those giveaways, folks. Just going to just going to say that I will oil up for Yanmar. Yeah, I’ll hold you to that. will never see that live stream. You don’t believe You don’t believe in the Yanmark supremacy. Uh, where’ my chat box go? Where’ my chat box go? I guess the chat box decided to die. It didn’t It didn’t It didn’t feel like It didn’t feel like continuing to uh stay on the screen. I guess the the chat on screen just is not here now. I’m not sure why. Uh I’m going to try and add it back. We’ll put that in. Refresh cash. Damn. Okay. Well, never mind then. Yes, Skinner made a good save. He did make a good save. Yeah, OBS is just I don’t know what to say, man. Which logo? The the Vancouver skate logo because it’s my favorite logo. Juicy Anmark with the roids. Will Skinner ever come back here? Um, shaking my magic eightball. My imaginary magic eightball in my hands. Uh, signs point to no, but I would love to be proven wrong. You put me on the TV and the game. Why don’t you put the game on your TV and then I can be on your phone. I mean, Pickard could he he could be the starter before February, Ace, depending how Stu plays for the first month of the season. Exactly. Stu’s got to prove us all wrong. Hey, the chat’s back. I don’t know what happened. I don’t know what I did, but uh it’s all back. It is good to go. Now I can go to the just chatting screen and uh we can formally hang out. Ilia Siroken. Eh, the Oilers have to give up a lot for Siroken. I don’t think they have the assets or the cap space to do that. I would love it though. That would be the dream. Hey, Cat’s watching. That’s cute. If Stu wasn’t extended, where do you think he would end up going? I don’t know. I think a team would be willing to bring on Stu. He is relatively young in terms of like goalenders. Uh the experience that he has has is like it’s very valuable. Teams value that whether the team made it to the finals or not because of him or in spite of him, it doesn’t matter. He played in those finals games. So that is something that teams do look at. Uh I don’t know Gavin. I don’t know how I feel about Koulie or Provzatav Proettov, if that’s how you pronounce his name. That that’s the kid from Calgary, right? If I could trade Nurse, would I? And for what? And I don’t know what teams like what is Darnell Nurse’s value, right? We saw Seth Jones get traded from Chicago. Like Seth Jones to me is the comparable to Darnell Nurse in terms of the money they make and their on ice impacts. I will say Seth Jones had a terrific playoff run with Florida. Um the comparable for me is Seth Jones. What can you get back for a Darnell Nurse Seth Jones? Well, Chicago, they got Spencer Knight back and a first, I think. So, they got a prospect and a first and Seth Jones had to wave as no trade to go there. But, uh would teams value Nurse the same? Would they give up a good young upandcoming goalender and a firstrounder for Darnell Nurse? I don’t know. But that would be the comparable that I think of. I agree. Ace. Uh, well, no, I I don’t I don’t agree about Bard. I think Evan Bousard is a very effective defender. His grade A giveaways obviously are annoying, but every statistic on the planet, whether they’re advanced stats or just normal stats, show that Evan Buchard’s on ice impacts are incredibly positive and top 15 in the NHL. And I think he’s worth the money. Apparently, so apparently that was wrong. I think Darnell Nurse came out and said that it was wrong that like he did he wasn’t asked to wave his no trade. Do you think so? I I think Buchard’s offensive impact makes him worth a little bit more in my opinion. Also, you’re not going to get like where are you going to find two more echomes? Like like Ekcom is Echome. There’s like one of a kind. Like who would be the comparable for Echome? Like who would you bring in to play with Ecom? that does what Bard can do that might not put up the same amount of points but has the you know offensive or the sorry the defensive impacts that that Bard has Josh Brown. Yeah, that’s okay. Josh Brown. Oh god. Brett Peshy. That’s a good one. I like Peshi. That’s true. Brendan Joe Peshy. Yeah, Joe Peshy from Good Fellas. What about that new LA Kings defender Cody Cece? Oh my god, that nurse CC pairing in the playoffs almost killed me. I’m pretty sure I have a heart condition because of those two players specifically. Yeah, that’s that’s a good point, Gavin. What’s going on, Chris Knobblock? How’s the how’s the game going down at ice level there, Chris? Oh my god, Danny. Rage bait used to be believable. You’re not going to get me with the rage bait today. None of you are. Everyone watching right, you can’t rage bait me. Not going to happen. Also, for those of you tuning in the live stream today, I just want to say thank you so much. Um the the viewership in preseason has been crazy. It means the regular season is going to be even crazier. I cannot wait. Um, today all I ask is that you hit that like button. Goes a long way in supporting the channel. He’s like 19 booshards and four echoloms. You know what? I never thought of it that way. What’s going on, Elizabeth? I hope you’re doing well. McDavid up update. Uh, he has a goal tonight. Uh, nothing new on the contract front apparently. So, if I know, I know. Okay. I think I know. Claudu. Oh my god. I’m not even gonna finish that. I’m not even gonna finish that sentence. That was the first line. They were great. Corridor. Uh they have both goals for Edmonton. It’s two nothing Oilers. McDavid has a goal and an assist. Frederick has a goal and an assist. And Dry Cidle has two assists. I can hear you broadcasting my dreams. Minus 8 to lose in Vancouver at the end of my dream. Oh no, never mind. That wouldn’t be good. Let’s hope that doesn’t happen. A Nurse and Josh Brown pairing would actually make me just shut the YouTube channel down. Like if at any point this season Josh Brown is called up and he’s asked to play with Darnell Nurse, I will literally just shut the YouTube channel down. I’ll be like, “See you. All done now. Bye-bye.” Perfect pickles perfection practices perfectly. Perfect pickles perfection practices perfectly. That’s a tough one. I can’t I can’t do it too much, but that’s a good one. I was. All right, Felicia, you got to relax. All right. Also, I don’t No one didn’t claim Josh Brown off waivers today, did they? I didn’t even see the waiver pickups or who all went on waivers. Yeah, he hasn’t looked bad in preseason. No clue, that’s for sure. Hey, what’s going on, Cesalin? Good to see you again. Had to watch period one on Sportsnet. Yes, it is broadcast actually on television tonight, which is very nice. I hope you’re doing well. Good to see you again. What’s going on, Kat? Not a fan of the Oilers, so I didn’t follow their offseason, but are you guys still stuck with Steuart Skinner? Yes, we are. Yes, we are. Unfortunately, I agree with you, Ace, 100%. How’s Steu doing? He’s doing good tonight, but Vancouver also has one of the worst lineups I’ve ever seen in my life. So, one of my friends had 96 cards and the deck disappear. Whoa. What? I don’t know what my brain is thinking. Sometimes brains be brains, man. Steuart Skinner son or Cody CC daughter. Do I have to answer that? Can I plead the fifth and not answer that? I wouldn’t be against that. Ces would not be against that at all. Eric says Cody CC daughter 10,000%. The problem is, and this is no, like no disrespect to Calvin Pickard because I think what Calvin Pickard has done has been valiant, he’s had to come in, he’s probably had to play a lot more than he thought he would have to. He had to come in and save the team’s bacon in the playoffs this season. He had to come in in that Vancouver series two years ago to kind of like settle the boys down. But for Calvin Pickard, he’s never been a starter. And I think someone like him, I think he’s good in short bursts. Pause. I think he’s good short term. Like you can play him for six or seven games in a row and then you got to give him an extended break. I I don’t know if he can handle the starter the starter load. Oh my god. Okay, this is a disaster. I’m just going to stop talking. Oh my goodness. Oh my god, y’all. I’m gonna I’m gonna end this stream. I swear. I swear. Hide the kids. What’s going on, Sando? 67. All right, that’s all you get. That’s all you get. You’ll never get another one. I hope you enjoyed that. Oh, kitty. I guess Kitty’s leaving. We’ll turn off the kitty cam. All right, OBS, calm down. OBS is freaking out here. All right, we’re good. Kitty has decided to leave us. Oh my god. Yo, Ace, you got to chill. Yeah. Yeah. He’s going to get he’s going to get food. Howard getting a squeaker tonight. I hope so. I’d like to see him get a goal. Yeah. Kitty. Yeah, he was he was he was shook about what I had to say about Calvin Pickard. I think the weather’s going to be aok though this season. Obviously, their start is important. They have to get off to a good start. All right, second period’s on here, folks. Let’s get this timer going. All right, middle frame is on, folks. And there’s a icing on Edmonton already. Hi, Mochi. Hi, Moch. Hi, hun. We got a Mochi. Mochi never comes to say hi. Hello. Hi. You want to say hi to everyone? Hi, Mochi. Hi Moch. Hi. You want to come here? Mochi has blessed us with her presence. Hi Mochi. Here’s Edmonton with a chance. Man, Mapani tried to just clap that into the net and that was blocked by Person. Hi. Thank you, Mochi. Very nice of you. Very nice of you, Mochi. Thank you so much. Give me lots of lots of licks, lots of kisses. I plead the fifth, Flei. I plead the fifth. No, I honestly don’t care if my jerseys get clawed up by my cats. I mean, cats are adorable. They’re not on this planet for as long as we are, so I just let them live their life. Here’s a shot from Echome. That goes wide. Oh, and then the puck came into the grease area. Trent Frederick almost kicked it into the net. Puck behind the net to Trent Frederick. Frederick looking to center it. He’ll play it back to the point to Bousard. Evan Bousard with it to Matias Ekko around the boards to McDavid. Tries to center to Trent Frederick. Frederick along the boards. He hangs on to it. Trent Frederick now. Gives it to McDavid. McDavid around back to Frederick. Oilers doing a lot of cycling behind the Canucks net. Oh, and we have a kitty kitty as well. Gez, both cats are all over me. Oh, nice job by McDavid. Keeps that puck alive. McDavid starter step walks in. Centers to Frederick. And that’s kind of a weak shot off the outside of the goal. Here’s Ratu for the Canucks. He’ll send that puck deep into the Oilers zone. Dry Cidle. He protects on his backhand. He’ll skate it forward. I mean, he’s being all tied up. And here comes Matias Ecom for the Oilers. He’ll drop it back to McDavid. McDavid trying to center it to I don’t know where he was putting that puck. And here’s Baines. He’s being pressured, tied up by Lepin and centers it in front. Oh my goodness. And I don’t know who that was on the Vancouver Conucks. Tried to go backhand. He was all alone in front of the net. He didn’t get a shot off. Get a cat name. Yeah, Mark. That would be adorable. Oh, giveaway by the Conucks. Captain gives it to Phelp. And there too many men on. Oh yeah. Look at Chris Snock. He’s like, “What happened?” So the taking a penalty for uh too many men. No. No, that would never happen. Lucky. If y’all ever win a jersey for me, it will be brand new. Never worn. I promise that. Did I name it Fogle? I don’t remember that. I legit don’t remember that. America. That’s That’s funny. They soft one by Well, no, they’re going to redo that. Who took the power or penalty against like who did they put in the box? I don’t know who they put in the box. Big pee pe. Big pee pe offensive zone drop for Vancouver. They have a two-minute power play. Heronic for the Canucks tries to get by Kappa and that goes off of his stick and out. Power play. Big power play. Come on. You all heard what I said. Just kidding. Here’s Ler Macki. We’ll play it to the point. Ler Macki right circle with a shot that goes high and wide of the goal. Here’s Leer Mackey. Now they’ll send it behind the Oilers’s net. Buck around to the half wall. Here’s Heedle through the middle. Here’s Leer Mackey. I thought the stream paused. Yeah, I was just being a I was just being a weirdo. Sherwood to Heedle. Ronic to Leer Mackey with a shot. And that’s a good save by Stuart Skinner Stew. And the puck is shot out of play by the Oilers. Yeah. Why would you do that? That’s funny. Try saying big BP three times. Vaz. No, I don’t think so. I don’t know. I don’t I don’t think I’m going to do that. Should I start a new YouTube channel and call it Austin Freaky? of course I would credit Danny for that. Here’s a puck across to Coots. Coots Mton native with a shot and that goes wide to the net or Coots is from Alberta I should say. I think Sherwood Park. Here’s Coots. Keeps the puck alive. Vancouver looking to keep it going. Here’s Coots now across into the middle. Oh, and a good break up by Matias. He tries to find Mapani and the puck goes over his stick but the Oilers do get it deep. Sherwood Park is non-existent. Here come the Conucks. 30 seconds left on the power play for Vancouver. Puck behind the Oilers net. Evan Bousard with a hard rim around and he will get that out. Nice job by Bousard. Here comes the Canucks now. One of the coaches there fought with my now teammate’s dad. Oh no. Like an actual fist fight. Dry Cidle in the middle. Oh, and he tries to find Booard and the puck hit the crossbar went out of play. Giveaway there by Dryidle. He tried to throw it in front of Bousard and Bousard was not ready for it. And then Sassin, he backhanded it off the crossbar. Others got lucky there. They got away with one. So, the Oilers did kill the penalty. They’re two for two on the kill. [Laughter] H I don’t I don’t think so, Tobias. I don’t think so. I don’t think we’re going to be doing that. I I blame Dry Settle more than Booard on that one. Dry Settle kind of put him in a bad spot. Bit of a hand grenade of a pass. Here’s Joseph. Keeps the puck alive for Vancouver. The Oilers haven’t really been able to get anything going this period. I’d like to see them start asserting themselves offensively once more. Here’s Samansky trying to get the puck out. He loses it. Comes back to Denine. Denine to Regula. Here’s Cam Denine now. Skates it forward. Dumps it into Oh no, it hit the linesman. And the Conucks are going to bring that out. And it’s going to be icing. They’re going to call icing now on Vancouver. That linesman uh he’s got to get out of the way. Four. Four. Not one heart failure. Four heart. How many hearts do you have? What is that linesman doing? Get along the boards, you weirdo. It’s preeason for the linesman, too, I guess. Cringe. Offensive zone faceoff. Noah Phillip loses it. Here come the Conucks now. Just trying to alleviate some pressure on the icing. Puck will be sent back in. Deflected in deep by Kappan. Behind the net. Demco leaves it for Heronic. Puck into the neutral zone. Here’s Heedle. He drops it back. Here’s a shot on Steuart Skinner and he’ll just swallow that up. Easy save. 1450 to play here in the second. Oh yeah, Pause is right. What on earth? Do you see Swayman as an option at the deadline or mid-season? If so, do you see him as an upgrade? Uh, he would be a massive upgrade. Like I honestly think last season was a outlier for Swayman. I think Swayman is an elite goalender and that would be an a massive massive upgrade in my opinion on what the Oilers currently have. Bucks sent down the ice by Echol and that’s going to be icing on the Oilers with 1444 to play. Check the reply. Oh no. Oh no. I’ll I’ll check them after like in the commercial break. I’ll I’ll check it on Twitter. Here comes Dry Sidto on the right wing. He tries to center it to McDavid. keeps a hold of it, finds Ekholm. Ekhol left circle, dumps the puck around the boards. Dry Cidle tries to use his body to protect and keep the play alive. Evan Bousard does keep the play alive. He kicks it to Dry Cidle who does manage to keep it in, but Vancouver, they’ll steal it and skate it out of trouble. Here’s Lramaki around the boards and Heedle can’t keep it in. Puck comes to Ronic. Ronic finds Heedle into the middle. Here come the Canucks now through. It’s in the net. They have scored. Looks like Derek Forbert scored. I don’t know. Someone jumped up and uh Well, that’s in the net. Vancouver’s on the board. Um Steuart Skinner. I don’t know what Stu was complaining about. So Connor brought it in and then Forbort crashed into stew. I mean that’s what is that reply? I’m going to repost that. What the hell was that? Uh I mean that shouldn’t be a goal. Like Four crashed into Stew. I don’t know how that’s a goal, right? Like that’s clearly some kind of goalie interference I would think. Like you can’t you can’t have like there’s no coaches challenges in preeason, but that is one where you would coach his challenge. It’s very obviously crashing into the goalie. Like that’s not a there’s no way that that counts. No goal. Goal interference. No goal. Learn the rules, Derek Forbert. Learn the rules. Learn the rule, idiot. Just kidding. Could you imagine? Yeah. Forward just crashes into Stew here. Or not for Yeah. No, it was Forward that crashed into him. Yeah, I was right. Works in street hockey. Yeah. No, it’s it’s it’s two nothing. Let’s do nothing. No goal. Rules have changed a lot since the ace, but uh yeah, I agree with you that that would have counted in 1988. So, the Oilers off the face off. They’re going to send that puck down to the connect zone. And that’s another icing. The Oilers are just looking a little I don’t like their play this period so far. What’s going on, Danny? Stocks with Burks is goated. I’m going to pretend like I know anything that you just said. 1352 to play here in the second period. Defensive zone draw. Oilers have I mean they’ve iced the puck like 13 times this period. So, Vancouver keeping the cycle going. The Conucks have been like outworking Edmonton here. The Oilers got to get going on offense. I know they’re up two nothing, but they they got to get going. Here’s a shot from a bad angle. Stopped by Steuart Skinner. Puck behind the Oilers net to Emerson. Emerson through the middle of the ice. Nan Hopkins two-on-one with Ike Howard. Here comes Nan Hopkins. He walks it in. He tried to get a shot off. He tried to tow drag. Nan Hopkins is looking off the kid for some reason. He didn’t even try and pass it to Ike Howard. Here’s Camden. Keeps it alive. tries to center it out in front. Nan Hopkins throws it forward. Emerson keeps it alive. Finds Nan Hopkins into the middle to Denine. Denine, he’ll find Emerson. He sends it in front to Howard who tried to get a shot on net. Not just went wide. Puck comes to the neutral zone. Obama have [Music] Yeah, I think we can all say that we all love Yanmark here. No, Yanmark’s not in the lineup tonight, unfortunately. I want to tear my ACL. Don’t Don’t tear your ACL. It’s wrong with you. You don’t want to do that. Here’s Kappa on the for check. Centers it out in front and uh just couldn’t get a shot away there. It was Philip tried to find Kappan in front. Bucks sent behind the Oilers’s net. I don’t know if the Oilers thought it was icing for a second there. Everyone kind of stopped moving. Vancouver keeps the play alive. Here’s Karatzv with a shot. Stopped by Steuart Skinner. Puck through the middle. Nice job by Curtis Lazar. Good effort to just get that puck out and force the Conucks to regroup. Lazar on the back check now. Steals it and Edmonton looking to get up on offense. Lepin deflected in by Kapan behind the Canucks net to Demco. Demco is going to leave that for Joseph. Joseph’s going to skate it forward through the middle. Stolen. Here’s Tomasek. He sends it in deep. Hudson can’t come up with it. Man, Tomasic is just being a bully right now. He’s cross-checking someone five times. Samansky can’t get the puck in deep. Puck through the neutral zone. And at the Oilers blue line, they’re going to call offside where we finally have a whistle. And well, not finally a whistle. Finally have a commercial break here. What do you mean? What did I do? I didn’t do nothing. Could you imagine Yanmark for Kuzco? That would be awesome. That would make me a happy camper. The Kings would never do it though. When I was in high school, Yanmark was actually our janitor. Yeah, I don’t know about that. I don’t believe you. I don’t believe you. True. Holland does love Yanmark. Actually, you’re right. Holland would maybe make that deal. Also, uh let’s try and hit 50 likes on the live stream today. 50 likes is the goal. I know before it’s been like a hundred, but uh I think with just where we’re we’re at tonight, uh I think 50 likes would be great. Never say never with Kenny. Uh I don’t even know what Erica tried to say. Holland and CeCe with a whole bunch of hearts and then got timed out. That’s hilarious. Unless you’re talking about giving me David a chance at a cup. Oh no. All right, here’s the faceoff coming up here. Oilers blue line one by McDavid. Puck will come to Trent Frederick. Frederick enters the connect zone. looked a little offside, but the linesman says, “No, we’re on side and we’re going to keep playing cuz I want to go home. I have a dinner dinner dinner reservation and there’s already been a lot of whistles in this game.” Evan Bousard can’t keep the play alive. Dryidle supports, finds McDavid in his own end. He plays it back to Buchard. Bousard to Dryidle. Leon Dryidle skate it up the ice through the neutral zone to Conor McDavid. McDavid across to Trent Frederick. Frederick walks in, tries to center it back. That’s where you want a shot from Trent Frederick. He’s in a an area where he can at least try and get a shot off. But McDavid steals it. Twoon one with Dry Cidle. Now here comes Conor McDavid to Dry Cidle and he misses the net. Oh my god. Come on, Leon. You got to get that stick a little bit stronger on the ice. Two opportunities wasted by Edmonton. And now McDavid will bring it back in. Conor McDavid to Dry Cidle. Oh, he tries to send it across to Montapani to dry Cidle in his feet. Can’t get a shot off. Dry dry side’s fighting it right now. Here’s Cam Denine for the Oilers. Denin, he walks it in. Short side shot. Demco doesn’t give him an angle. Denine to Mapani. Mapani, he’s going to get knocked down. Plays it in front. Oh, nice deflection by Denine who was just hanging out in front of the net. Just missed uh the goal there. Here’s Mapani down low to N. Hopkins across to Howard and Howard can’t get a shot off. Puck comes to Mapani. Majapani pucking his feet still trying to play it to the blue line. He’s knocked down and the Conucks are going to skate it through the neutral zone and just a high flip down into the corner. Ty Emerson for Edmonton’s going to hang on to it. So, the Oilers had a few opportunities there. I don’t even know if they got a single shot on net. With how many oddman rushes they’ve had, I’m going to need something to go in the net next time. Puck up the middle. Stolen by the Conucks. Here come the Canucks now. Here’s Baines. He cycles the puck around the boards Ty Emerson. He’ll try and chip up along the half wall, but it’s kept alive by Vancouver. Here’s Joseph to Baines. Baines across the ice to Kustratzv to Joseph as I might I don’t know how to say that guy’s name on Vancouver. Here’s Sassin down low. Vancouver continues to cycle it around. Edmonton can’t grab possession. Kept in by Joseph. Kriatv across to no one and Kenan will just send that puck down the ice and that’s not going to be icing. Uh I’m going to say over I’m going to say over three goals. I’m taking the over on that one for Yanmark goal count. Vancouver now they’ll send the puck back in hard around. I think the Oilers have had maybe one shot this whole period. Oh man, what a hit. Bane stepped into Lepenin. Don’t think he was expecting that hit. Lepin can’t come up with it. Here’s a play in front and that’s going to be stopped by Steuart Skinner. Jeez. And Kaan’s not happy about that hit on Lepin. And then Skinner made a good save. McKenzie McKer. I don’t know. Maybe he took a stick up high. I’m not sure. He looked a little looked a little bruised on the cheek. Uh Kane is not in the lineup tonight. Yo, Conrad, good to see you again. How are you? Josh Brown sweeps the a queen. Wait, queen sweeps the awards. What does that even mean? Do I miss Kane? No. Yeah, I’ve been a big fan of that, too. Uh, vehicle. I’ve been a big fan of that, too. I’m having fun saying Mapani. I love saying his name. Might be my favorite name to say. I also miss Connor Brown. He looks so weird in a in a New Jersey Devil’s sweater. I don’t like it at all. Henrik Lazar Ryan. Oh my god. Uh negative 100 is my rating for that line. I’d love to see it. I’d be very happy for Connor Brown if he did. He wouldn’t be the first winger that gets signed by New Jersey. Well, not signed, but goes to New Jersey and then has a career year. Looking at you, Taylor Hall. Mjapani Dryidle Seavo second line. I like that one. We’ll we’ll give that one an 80 out of 100. Ah, get wrecked. Fleecy. I hope so. Honestly, I just hope that that Pod Coulson is going to be okay moving forward. I hope he has a ton of support from the team, the fans. I know he will, but at this point, I’m just thinking about Pud Coulson’s well-being. Here’s the faceoff won by the Canucks. Shot towards the Oilers goal. Doesn’t quite make it. And here’s Samansky. He tries to play it up the right wing into the neutral zone. stolen by Quinn Hudson and Vancouver will just take that right back. Vancouver says no worries. Yeah, Stew’s had a good game so far. Hockey night. Stew’s had a good game so far. Stew out of his crease. Just as I say that, watch them score here. Here’s Lramaki keeps the cycle alive. Ty Emerson plays it forward along the half wall. Tomasek finds Samansky. Samansky with some speed. He’s back checked by Heedle. Nice job by Heedle. Takes Samansky into the boards and the Oilers do not get a shot away here. Heronic up the left wing. Puck will come to Heedle. Heedle skates it in to Leaki trying to find Well, man, what a defensive play that was by Evan Bousard. Great defensive play. I mean, he had a breakaway save in the first. He’s had a couple saves he’s had to make in the second that were either deflected or kind of in tight. He hasn’t been like super tested, but that breakaway save in the first was huge for for Still. Here’s Person Sherwood. Sherwood with a shot that’s stopped by Steuart Skinner again. Here’s Trent Frederick now trying to find Bousard. Bousard on his forehand. He’ll just flip it up the middle of the ice to try and allow the Oilers to finish their change. Here’s Elias Patterson. Sends the puck deep along the blue line here. Vancouver, they’re going to have to reset. Here’s Marcus Patterson to Coots. Coots trying to get by Matias Echol. I almost said Yanmark can’t come up with it. Here’s a shot towards Steuart Skinner and he’ll just glove that. Easy save for Stew. He hangs on. At least he’s gone. He’s been He’s been banned too many times from Nightbot. Over under 90% on my first calcul exam. I’m going to say over 90%. I’m taking the over on this one. Here’s a shot from the point for Vancouver off the faceoff and a rebound on the short side. And Steuart Skinner again, another good save for Stu. He’s up to 13 on the night here. This this period’s been all Vancouver. The Oilers haven’t really got anything going. No. No. I don’t think any of us think that. We’re just having just a bit of an inside joke. Bit of a meme with Matias Yanmark right now. Actually, you know what? Yeah, he can get 70 points. I’m going to say yes. We believe in Yanmark. Here’s a play forward. Dry Cidle. He’s going to skate it up the ice. Leon waits for some reinforcements. Finds McDavid right circle. McDavid spins away from a check. He’s pushed off the puck for a second here. Puck is in the feet of Dryidle and he has no idea where it is actually. McDavid with a hard rim around Trent Frederick will leave it to Echol. Matias Ekolome steps up along the half wall. Echome to Frederick. Frederick in the near corner and I don’t know who that is on Vancouver doing the splits. Dry Cidle plays it around to McDavid. McDavid. He’ll find Dry Cidle now. Back in front of McDavid. He walks in and then they crash into Demco. No penalty. McDavid hits Demco. And here’s McDavid now. He skates it through the neutral zone to Booard with a shot and that’s stopped by Thatcher Demco. Oh boy. So, both goalies have been run pretty hard here. Make my worst Oilers lineup. Oh my god. Any lineup that would have Josh Brown is it in it is the worst lineup. I do, Ace. I expect I expect Edmonton to win 101 in games like this. Why not? Why not blow these teams out? Why not blow their backs? Wait, what? What? I didn’t say that. You should be allowed to run the goalie in preeason. It’s horrible. Puck won by the Oilers off the face off. Shot goes way wider than it. Another face off in the zone. He will literally disintegrate. Never say that again. What do you mean never have fun? Is that what you’re telling me? Vehicle, we’re not allowed to have fun anymore. Damn, dude. I see how it is. Majapani over under 4.5 points in the Battle of Alberta this season. How many games do they play against Calgary? Four. If it’s four games, then I’m going to go over. Uh, they can be quy. They can be sometimes. I think just in preseason. Just in preseason they can be a little snoozy. I mean, I would prefer Noah Phelp as our fourth line center over Curtis Lazar personally, but and that’s nothing against Curtis Lazar. Hey, no worries, Burn. No worries. I thought it was important to talk about. Obviously, it’s not everyone’s cup of tea and not everyone will agree with what I was trying to get at, which is super fine. Everyone is definitely entitled to their opinion. That’s why we run a good show here. Um, you know, you get to say what you want. You get to have your opinions. Nobody gets judged harshly for it. But that was a specific topic that I did want to mention just because I I do think it it was important to bring up. [Laughter] You leave chair. Everyone leave chair alone. Don’t say those nasty things to chair. Chair is pure, right? Chair is a a pure being that doesn’t deserve to be around that. Oh, that’s good to know. I’ll I’ll make sure to uh check it out. Diamond in the rough opportunity. I mean, Noah Phillips what, like 26 now? Oh, yeah. I’m not surprised that Mainstream isn’t covering it, that’s for sure. Here’s Ike Howard trying to come up with the puck here. Howard on the for a check. Leaves it for Nan Hopkins. Stolen by the Canucks. Vancouver. They’ll bring it into the Oiler zone. Alec Regula now. He plays it into kind of no man’s land and Vancouver will keep the puck alive. Across to Person with a one-time saved by Steuart Skinner and he goes down. No worse for wear. Puck will come to I don’t know who that was on Edmonton. Person under pressure from Ike Howard. Can’t quite come up with it. Who was that on Mton that just threw the puck away. Was that Mapani? Here’s Alec Regula behind his net to Mapani now. Mapani on his back end. He’ll just chip it into the connect zone. Others will try and get a change here. Really? I I feel like that’s a fairly easy name to to pronounce correctly, but I’m glad that I didn’t mess it up. I I am known for messing up the pronunciation of names. So, bad teams blow on the pee pe. Ban me. I’m not banning you. What? Here’s a play through the middle of the ice to Curtis Lazar. Lazar walks in. Lazar on his backhand behind the Canucks net. One hand on his stick. He’s being all tied up here by the Canucks and he gets it out of trouble. The Vancouver Conucks did. That is. Here’s Camdenine to Caspberry Captain. plays it back to Emerson. Noah Phillip to Denine. Denine with a hard rim around Vancouver. They’ll pick up the puck here. Lazar behind the Conucks net. Can’t grab possession. Forbert up the ice. Kept alive. Oh no, Emerson with a bad pinch. Twoon one for the Conucks. And Vancouver booted the puck around and they’ll get nothing going as Noah Phil will just send that back into the Canucks zone. No worse for wear. What? Yo, you gotta chill. You gotta chill. Oh, Oreos. Yeah, the white stuff in Oreos is delicious. Here’s a shot from the point from the Canucks. 340 to play in the second. Shots are 1614. Edmonton scores two nothing. Puck comes to Joseph with a shot for Vancouver and that deflects off his stick and over the net. Oilers can’t come up with possession. Here’s Lyramaki to Joseph with another shot that goes wide. Vancouver getting some high Cory. The Corsy’s getting up there for Vancouver. They’re not getting anything on the net though. The Tony Montana Oreos. Cockroaches want to play rough. Uh here’s a play to Coots with a one-time that goes wide to the Oilers’s net. Samansky trying to find Oh, that’s a penalty on Vancouver. Pretty lazy penalty to take 200 feet from your net. Kudri, Kudriatv. Uh, double stuffed. Double stuffed is is like top tier. Also, I don’t know. So, one of the things I’ve wanted to do on on the channel is do like a try not to laugh like hockey edition or even Oilers edition, but like there’s nowhere to find videos to like put into one of those. So, that I may have to ask the community for some help on that. So, Oilers with the power play here. Uh 59 2 minutes. Here we go. Diabetes. Look at diabetes. Uh McDavid will take the face off here. And here’s to Tomasekk. He’ll get that top unit power play time. Puck one to Bard. Dry settle with the one-time. Oh my god. Dry Cidle just blows it by Demco. Blows it by him. The PP was huge on that one for Leon Dryidle. It’s three three nothing M10. Well, what an absolute bomb by Leon. My goodness, that was rude. That was like 3 seconds into the power play. He blows it with a huge power play. Huge pee pe. My god. Uh Leon’s going to stay out there for the Oilers. 303 left in the second. It’s three nothing Edmonton. That was a great great power play for the Oilers. Very efficient. Oh my god, y’all are killing me in the comments right now. Here’s McDavid. Now he’s going to walk it in with Spain with a shot. That’s stopped by Demco. Frederick on the rebound trying to come up with it. Puck in the near corner in the Canucks zone. Frederick and McDavid fight for McDavid looks a little bit more engaged. He threw about six cross checks there. Hey, what’s going on Janelle? Good to see you again. Puck comes to Ekhol. Ekhome up the left boards. It goes off of Frederick twice and McDavid. He’ll just grab onto it and skate it forward. Here comes McDavid. He’ll skate it through center. Well, he played it to nobody. Vancouver just an easy steal. And they’ll send that back to Matias Ekko. Vancouver getting a change in. Ekkom maybe going to take advantage of it. No, he’s not. He’s just going to dump it in deep. Here comes the Oilers now. Mapani finds Nan Hopkins. He tries to center it out in front to Ike Howard. Nan Hopkins on the forehand. Ike Howard back to the point. Shot towards the net. Blocked by Marcus Patterson. Person with a backhand off the glass. He’ll send it into the Oilers zone to Alec Regula. Everyone in the in the chat right now is just killing me. I’m just pug sent down the ice and that’s going to be icing on Vancouver. Learn the rules, please. Offensive zone draw coming up for Edmonton. Try Cidle has a goal. McDavid has a goal and Trent Frederick has a goal. Uh Janelle, three nothing Edmonton. The Oilers big guns are the big guns tonight. Explosive PP. What’s going on, Jodes? Offensive zone draw for Edmonton. One by Noah Phillp. Phil to Kaanin to Lepenin. Lepin towards the net that deflects on goal and that’s stopped by Demco. Kept in by Kappan. Kinan left circle back to the point to Lepin. Lepin tries to throw a little floater towards the net looking for a tip but that’s blocked in front and Philip Heronic will send it up the boards. Kept alive by Regula. Noah Phelp once again keeps the play in the Canucks zone and that puck goes out of play in the Oilers bench. I don’t know what happened there. 114 left. Hey, we are at 50 likes. Maybe we can hit 60 likes. If you haven’t hit the like button on the stream yet, maybe we can try and hit 60. Maybe possibly. Oh my god. Face off one by the Canucks here. Ronic up the middle deflected into the Oilers zone and Ty Emerson’s all tied up. It’s offside or delayed offside on Vancouver. So the Oilers are able to skate this out of trouble. Denine up the right boards. Tomasek is going to skate after it. Telling his linemate, “Hey, I got this.” Vancouver though, they’ll bring it through the neutral zone. Here’s a shot by Vancouver. Doesn’t make it. Nice block by Emerson. Puck in the far corner. Quinn Hudson trying to kick it free. Ty Emerson supporting. Puck all the way around to the point. Kept alive by Heronic. The Conucks now looking to get something going. Here’s a short side shot on Steuart Skinner. And that went over the net. Out of play. I don’t know what happened there. Release me. I don’t know what it means either. All I know is that the kids say it all the time. So don’t test Nightbot. Nightbot will will Ibot will find you. 31 seconds left in the period. Defensive zone draw. Conor McDavid will take it. He loses it. Here’s Joseph behind the Other’s net. Evan Bousard trying to come up with it. O’ Conor against Echome. Keeps it alive. Puck comes to Okconor through the middle. Trent Frederick will find Ekome. Ekhol throws it up the right wing. Here comes Bousard. Tried to find McDavid in stride there, but Bousard might have been better off just skating it in. Dry Cidle tries to center it to Bousard. And Vancouver with 3 seconds left. Partial twoon one. Spin move by Heedle into the middle of the ice. Here’s a shot on Steuart Skinner and he makes a late save at the end of the period. Three nothing Edmonton as we head to the third period here. We’ll get that second intermission timer going. Boom. Here we go. Yo, what’s going on FC? Good to see you again. We want share. Y’all want share? You don’t want me here anymore? You want chair? Is that Is that where we’re at now? Y’all hate me. All right, I’ll give you a chair if we hit 60 likes. Hit 60 likes and I’ll I’ll take a little break. I’ll take a little five minute break and then y’all can have chair for a bit. I do have to go and get some water and maybe have a quick bite to eat. I have arrived. Hey, welcome back. Russian egg. Welcome back. How are you? Yeah, Ste’s playing good tonight. Ste’s had a good game so far. Hey, Fleec is also free. Hey, how’s it going, Omar? How’s everyone doing? Listen, I’m going to take a five-minute break. Just smash that like button. All right, smash the like button. We’re going to take a fiveminute break as we have the intermission. I’ll just keep the intermission timer going. I’m not going to go to the BRB screen. Congrats on being free from the the the grasp of of Nightbot. might rais in the chair or kitty first. Kitty whalers are goated. I saw Yakob in the nightb jail. Oh no. Yakabov’s staying there forever, right? We’re not letting We’re not letting Yakob out. He can stay there. There you go, Russian Egg. I That’s a good prediction. Exactly. How are the boys doing? Uh, they’re doing pretty good, Kyle. They’re doing pretty good. I mean, Vancouver also has just one of the worst lineups I’ve ever seen in my life. And the Oilers have a lot of veterans in the lineup, but the Oilers veterans are doing what they’re supposed to do in a game like this. They are trouncing them, at least on the score sheet. I think Edmonton probably wants to play a little bit better than they have. We’ll quickly go over the the box score. McDavid, Dry Cidle, Frederick, Frederick, McDavid, Dry Cidle, and then Dry Cidle, Bousard Nude. So, Dry Cidle has a three-point game here. That’s good to see from uh Neon Leon. Look, look at this play off the face off. This was on the power play by the way. McDavid wins it back to Nan Hopkins. Nan Hopkins one touch over to Bousard. Bard across to Dry Cidle and he just he just one times it. It was literally 3 seconds into the power play. So yeah, pretty pretty good uh showing so far from from a couple of these players. Kitty back yet? Ah, there he is. Yeah, we’ll put the kitty cam on for you. You know what? We’ll make Kitty big. Well, bigger so that you can see Kitty a little bit better and share at the same time. I’ll be back. Five minute break. All right. What have I missed? What have I missed, folks? Kitty is no longer on the bed, so we can get rid of that. I have returned. We are back. We are back. Yakabov, Luchich, and Derek Ryan were nightbot jail. Why would a Derek Ryan do to get into jail there? The other two, I agree. We hate Jared. Yanmark was Oh. Oh [ __ ] Oh no, not Yanmark, bro. How are the deep bearings looking? Carson, my apologies. I’m not not too bad. When do we get Heyman back? Probably November. I think November seems to be when he’ll be back. All right, we’re at We’re at 67 likes, folks. 67. We’re at 67 likes on the stream. Let’s try and get that higher now. Now that we have the funny number, let’s get that to 75. Oh, it’s at 68 now. Okay, good. Talking about big pee pees. I know I said I wouldn’t do it, but uh I guess I did it. That’s horrible. Why would Why would Erica do this? I could say something that may get me banned, so I’m not going to. Yeah, I like Leeppin’s game a lot. I’ve liked Regula a lot personally as well. I think Alec Regula’s game has has looked very strong to me. For a big man, he can skate pretty well and I do like his puck movement. He is able to get pucks up the ice, which is good to see. 100 likes would be pretty in like I don’t know. 100 likes is is is a ambitious number, but if we hit 100 likes, then hey, let’s do it. Let’s do it. Why not? Let’s go, Janelle. Let’s go, Kyle. That’s why I I said I could say something that could get me banned, but I’m not going to say anything. I’ll let you try and allude to to what I could have said there with regards to Erica eating my cats because I won’t actually say anything. Hey, I appreciate that, Elizabeth. Thank you. I love all of you. I love all of you. Thank you so much, Omar. I appreciate I appreciate your sacrifice today. Why does How does everyone have my cats, bro? What the I don’t own that many cats. Also, we can’t joke about harming animals because uh Humane Society volunteer, folks. I’m a Central Alberta Humane Society volunteer. We We don’t We don’t want to be making We don’t want to be joking about harming animals. This could reflect poorly on me. I I’m liking Trent Frederick a lot more this game. But again, it’s tough to judge this line right now because I want them to produce. They’re producing. I want Tread Frederick to look comfortable with the Top Boys. He looks comfortable with the Top Boys. But this is not a good game to kind of like grade certain players because this is Vancouver’s AHL lineup. But I am happy. I will say I am happy, Danny. Oh, that’s very sad. Very, very sad. I’m sorry to hear that, Omar. It’s actually almost been a year since I lost uh Tass, which was uh one of my orange cats that some of you saw during that first um cup run. As the season is nearing, I wanted to thank you for all your videos last season, helping me get through the summer. Hey, let’s go B boy. Appreciate that. Uh I hope you’re able to stick around a little bit this season. I hope you have a terrific rest of your year. We’re going to have a great great time uh on the channel this season. We’re going to have so much fun. TS was goated. TS was the goated cat. 10 out of 10. You ate my MacBook, bro. What do you think, folks? Should we have one of these? Troubled Monk. Troubled tea original hard iced tea from Troubled Monk the brewery. It’s actually funny. I asked uh Troubled Monk if they’d want to work with me this season. And and they straight up just told me no. They’re like, “Yeah, we we don’t want to work with you this year.” And I was like, “Oh, did I say something like wrong?” I was like, “Did I did I say or do something that made them not want to work with me anymore?” Yo, Valley, what’s going on? cover my whole screen with cat cams. Yanm’s behind me. Could you imagine? All right, here we go. Dry Cidle off the draw. He’ll send the puck in deep to Ekcom who takes a hard hit by Patterson. Dry Cidle centers it back to Dry Cidle. Dry Cidle onetime in front. Here’s Dry Cidle again. Right circle. He’ll give it to McDavid. McDavid to Bousard. Bousard to at home. He tries to center it out in front and he can’t find who he was looking for. McDavid on the back check to Bousard. Here’s Conor McDavid with speed into the middle of the ice and that doesn’t find Trent Frederick. So here’s Trent Frederick. He hangs on to it. Nurse and C. Oh no. Here comes Ike Howard into the middle to Nan Hopkins. Just out of his reach. Emerson tries to throw it on net. He can’t get a shot off. The shots are apparently 18 to 18. I’ll reset the clock here. Uh 1850. There we go. Here’s a pass in front for the Canucks. Shot attempt by Sherwood goes nowhere near the net. No, I’m not I’m not too worried about actual sponsors, but I did find it interesting that last year in the playoffs or I guess in like May, Troubled Monk personally reached out to me. They’re like, “We want to work with you.” And I was like, “That’s awesome.” And then like I reached out to them before the season started this year and they’re like, “We don’t want to work with you.” And I was like, “Oh, maybe my Steuart Skinner crashs were uh maybe it was too much for them. Maybe they didn’t like the Stew Skinner crashs. Also, how you doing, Jeff? So, that face that I made when I like looked over there and then I turned around and I was like, that’s something that I’ve been doing since like high school that for some reason me and my buddies found like hilarious because we’re we’re we’re silly little goofy goofy goobers. We’re little goofy goobers. Ah, could be a channel emote. Here come the Oilers. Here’s a shot by Samsky and a good save by Demco. His uh 17th save of the sorry 16th save of the night. Job by Samanssky brought that in. Good shot on Demco. And then a little extra a little extra love tap by Samansky on Demco’s pad after the whistle. Make Yanmar. Don’t worry, I I I am going to add channel emotes. I really do need to get on top of that. I’m way behind on getting channel emotes for for the uh for the live streams here and for videos. Here’s Lepin towards the net and that’s stopped by Demco again. He swallowed that one right up. Pause. I don’t know what the energy tonight is. I don’t know if there’s like a full moon tonight or something, but we’re feeling good tonight, folks. Faceoff win for Edmonton. Another shot towards the net. Doesn’t quite make it there. And here’s Baines. Puck will come around the boards. Here’s Regula for the Oilers on his backand trying to get this puck out of trouble here. Puck kept alive by the Canucks. Joseph down low. Baines to the point. Puck comes to Joseph. Joseph towards the Oilers’s goal and that’s going to be blocked by Lepin. lepping in. Now he’s forced behind his net. Here’s Kratzv with a shot. Rebound in front and Steuart Skinner has to make another save. He’s looked he’s looked pretty solid here. Stu, it’s a new moon. Okay. Oops. My bad. Third period. What’s going on, Alexander? How are you? What are you apologizing for? You have nothing to apologize for, folks. Puck sent down the ice. Demco is going to leave that for Marcus Patterson. Person up the boards and oh man, Ty Emerson’s being all tied up here. I don’t know how there isn’t a penalty on Well, the Oilers got away with the trip and Vancouver, I guess, got away with a hold. I’ll check it after. I I’ll check the posts after. Puck through the half while you’re stuck in the Oilers zone. Emmonton trying to come up with it. Emerson with Lazar. Lazar trying to skate it forward to Hudson. Here’s Curtis Lazar now. He’ll send that into the Kuck zone. Noah Phelp will also chase after him. What do I think Florida will do without Barov? I don’t know. Florida’s in tough because Matthew Kachchuck is also unavailable until at least December or January. So, they’re without two of their best players, all situations players for well, Barov’s out the whole year. Kachchuck’s out for at least four months. That’s a tough one. That’s a tough one. Here’s Dry Cidle throwing the puck away. Puck kept in by the Canucks. Here’s Heedle spinning away off a check from Bousard. Dry Cidle supports down low. Bousard. He’ll find Echome. Echome to Trent Frederick. Frederick off of his stick, loses it with a shot and they score. Atu Ratu beats Steuart Skinner over the glove. It was a bad giveaway by Trent Frederick. So, it was a 3-1 game. Bad giveaway by Frederick. The Oilers couldn’t get out of their own zone. And uh this shot beat Steuart Skinner over the glove. Echome. He found Frederick. But then the pug just bounced off of his stick and then Ratu walks in and that’s a goal that should not beat Steuart Skinner personally. Um, you can say it’s a good shot. I say Stew is too far in his crease, goes down, drops that shoulder, a little shoulder too. Keep your glove up, bro. Right. He should be smiling. Keep the glove up. If he just does this when he goes down on his knees, he catches it. So 3-1 game. Vancouver has made this thing interesting. Off the face off now. O’ Conor to Sherwood towards Steuart Skinner. Easy save. Ecom can’t come up with it. Here’s the puck to the blue line. Forbert will chase after it behind the Oiler goal. Forbert trying to center it out in front. Here’s Sherwood. Sherwood trying to find Coots. Vancouver. They’re very aggressive on the uh very aggressive on the forche here. Here come the Canucks now. Connor walks in. Oh man, almost beat Steuart Skinner. He walked right in there. The Oilers defensively looking a little porous right now. Here’s a puck in front and they score. It deflects off of a leg and it’s a 3-2 game. Uhoh, Spaghettio. So, is that Coots go? It is Coots goal. Look at Coot’s puck went off of his leg. He has tons of of fans in the stands tonight. Tons of family and friends. So, the Oilers were caught running around. Echome puck in front. What is Steuart Skinner looking at the ref for? Did he think there was contact made? I don’t know what Steuart Skinner was looking around at the at the ref like he was touched there. But half the Oilers on the ice had no idea what was going on. Steuart Skinner had no idea what was going on. Yeah. Uhoh. Uh, it’s a 3-2 game. Two quick goals for Vancouver here and we have a onegoal game. [Music] Like I don’t know what that even was from Steuart Skinner, honestly. Like I I don’t mean to pick on him here. I legitimately don’t mean to pick on him, but I don’t know what student Skinner was doing on that. Like I legitimately don’t know what he was doing. Legit legitimately have no idea what he was doing. Here come the Conucks now. Elect with a shot and that goes high and over the net. Uh because it’s preeason. So I I find like preseason record doesn’t really matter. Still blocking the post. Puck brought in. And here’s a shot by Kappa and rebound. Oh, what a save by Thatcher Demco. Oh my god, the save of the season. And it’s only September 28th. What a save by Thatcher Demco. Are you kidding me with that? Wow. Nah, you’re good, Cube. We’re vibing. We’re vibing. What a shot. What a save, bro. Oh my god, that dives across. Wow, that is crazy. All right, here’s Ekcom now to Buchard. Bousard towards Ekome. Dry Cidtle behind the net. He centers it to Ecom. He can’t get the shot off. Vancouver trying to get a bit of a jailbreak going, but they’re just going to reset here. Puck comes to Coots, sent down into the Oilers zone. Yeah. Could you imagine if Demco did get hurt making that save? Here’s McDavid with tons of speed. McDavid walks in. He’ll play that to Frederick. Frederick trying to center it out in front. That goes off of Demco’s pad. Here’s Carlson now. He’ll get it to Heronic up the left wing. Here comes Sassin with a bit of a step on his backhand. Here’s Forbert with a shot. And Steuart Skinner makes a save on a shot that was going 30 ft wide, which is, you know what, we’ll take that. Hey, what’s going on, Borealis? What happened in the last 20 minutes? Uh, well, nothing was really happening 20 minutes ago, but Steuart Skinner and the Oilers have given up two goals in the first five minutes of the second or third period, sorry. Uh, we’re cooking, Mr. NHL. for cooking. Defensive zone draw for Edmonton. They’ll just try and flip it out of trouble, but it’s kept in by O’ Conor. Okconor on the for check. Noah Phelp trying to play the puck forward. Puck will come to Emerson through the middle of the ice. Curtis Lazar gives it away. Vancouver. They can smell blood now. They can smell blood. Yeah. Start watching. Start watching. Everyone should be watching. Here’s Okconor with the puck. Steals it again. And nice job by Quinn Hudson. He’ll send the puck deep into the connect zone. No way that’s icing. Noah Phillip throws a check. Vancouver with possession though. Coots along the half wall. Oh my god. What are you spamming in the chat? Are you trying to spell chalk? What’s happening? Chalk. Uh, for the Oilers, you have goals from Frederick McDavid and Dry Cidle. For the Canucks, you have a goal from Coots. And I forget who the other goal scorer was already. Ike Howard plays the puck behind the Canucks net. And Vancouver, they’re going to try and get this out of trouble here. Here’s Lepin. He’ll play that to Newton Hopkins. He’ll find Ike Howard. Howard with some speed. Spins off a check. Throws it into the middle to Majapani. Can’t get a shot off. Majapani around the boards. Regula finds Nan Hopkins. Nan Hopkins to the blue line. Lepin surveys, walks in across the ice. Oh man, Regua’s got to shoot that. Centers it out in front of Mapani. Can’t get it off on the net. Lepin now for the Oilers. He’ll cycle it around the boards. Heronic will pick it up. He’s going to be pressured by Mapani. Nan Hopkins also chasing a little bit here. Ike Howard gets in. They continue to pressure the Conucks. They force a turnover. And here’s Alec Regula now. Regula across the ice to Lepin. Lepin for the Oilers. He’s going to step in. Can’t get by Patterson and or who was that? Was that not Patterson? Okay, I don’t know who that was. Vancouver does get the puck out though. And then the puck is sent out of play. Shots are 22 to 22. Score is 3-2 Edmonton. What a save by Demco, man. Josh Brown goal. All right, folks. All right, we’re going to settle down here. Obviously, those goals aren’t all on Stew. I’m a huge Tron fan. I love the original Tron and I love Tron Legacy, but Tron Aries is doing nothing for me right now. All right. What am I checking? What am I checking? What is that? It’s funny. I’m Austin hockeying it. What does that even mean? What does that mean? I don’t know what that means, bro. Don’t know what that means. I’m sorry. I don’t get it. Oh, y’all got to calm down. Y’all got to relax. See, that’s my problem with the neutron. And I I I Jared Leto literally does nothing for me. And yet I’m sure they I mean well hopefully Josh Brown is not on the NHL team ever. Bubsy uh Evander Kane I’m sure will try and fight someone on Edmonton when they play each other in the regular season. All right. Well, we have an entertaining finish coming up here. 3-2 Oilers, 12 of three left in the third. How’s Stu doing? He was doing good until he was doing Stew things. It’s a 3-2 game for Edmonton. Uh, no, we don’t. No name calling. No name calling on on poor Stew there. I’m paying for the beer. Absolutely not. No way. No way. Here come the Canucks. 1157 left. Shot towards the goal. Doesn’t make it. Play kept alive though by Leer Macki. He tries to send it through the neutral zone, but the Oilers steal it. Here’s Kaan. Sends the puck in deep. Samansky. He’s going to leave that for Tomasek. Samansky puck along his skates. Tomas checkek on the forch check gets it to Denine. His shot deflects off a skate and out of play. Give me apple juice in playoffs. I’m old enough. Mansky on the for check here for the Oilers trying to come up with it. I was just watching some random live stream pirating the game on YouTube. What are the YouTube devs doing? They’re just, you know, they’re doing their best. They’re just having a night off. They’re just vibing. Maybe they want to watch the game, too. Vancouver finds Carlson. Dasson gets it in deep. Baines. He’ll play it around the boards. The near half wall. Vancouver. They’re trying to tie this thing up. Trying to tie this thing up. Here’s Ronic across. Oh man. Carlson with a one-time attempt. And he falls right down. looked a little embarrassing. He looked like me out there in beer league. And now the Oilers twoon-one. McDavid and Dry Cidle. Here comes McDavid with the puck across to Dry Cidle and he scores. Leon Dryidle. Pretty easy goal for him. He’ll just put that right in there. Top shelf where Mama puts the cookies. 4-2 Oilers. They get one back. So, Dry Sun with a four-point game. You can tell how excited I sound about this. McDavid with the twoon one. And if the Oilers didn’t get a shot here, I was going to cry. Nice job by McDavid. He puts the puck around. Who was defending there? Was that Heronic? Yeah, that was Heronic for Vancouver. Looking like playoff Heronic. You know what I’m saying? Let Leon put it in. Exactly. That’s horrible though, please. Calm down, bro. Calm down. Everyone needs to literally relax. dry set with his second goal of the game. Here come the Canucks now. They’re going to try and get back in on the for check on the attack. Here’s Lepenin for the Oilers. Lepin defensively. He’s being all tied up here. Vancouver trying to keep the puck alive. You ate my house. Here’s a shot towards Steuart Skinner that went off the outside of the net. Or maybe he made a save. I couldn’t tell from that camera angle. Vancouver again on the forch check here. Edmonton kind of on their heels. Puck sent in deep. Canucks cycle. Joseph loses it to Phil. And here comes Regula. He’ll step up. Threeon two for the Oilers. Here’s Curtis Lazar with a backhand on Demco. Easy save though. Lazar behind the Conucks net. He’ll play it all the way around. It’s going to be kept alive by Emerson. Emerson with the puck now. He’s going to reverse it and he’s going to find Quinn Hudson. Hudson behind the Canucks net. Noah Phillip with a stick lift. Finds Denine. Camdenine on the for check. The Oilers with some good zone time here. Puck comes across to Emerson. Keeps the play on side. Once again sends it around the boards. Oilers trying to tire out the Vancouver Conucks defenders. But Vancouver will finally get this puck into the neutral zone and potentially get a change. Here come the Canucks. Twoon two. Here’s Lebate with a shot. Oh man, Steuart Skinner. I mean, the puck was kind of flopping around on Stew and then I don’t know who fell on him. Camden might have fell on him there. Some rough stuff, but no one’s worse for wear. When I get in dry settle on for a stream, I don’t think any Oiler will ever come onto my channel. Like just one, I have no way to contact them. Two, I’m just I’m just a fan. I’m not a credentialed media member. So, King Leon, I agree. Whether girl King Leon Fleecy, calm down, bro. Pause. All right. Was Perry our lucky charm? I I don’t know. I think Cory Perry may have been been a curse. I think if the Oilers make the cup final without Perry now, I think I think they’re broken from the shackles of Perry’s curse. What are you apologizing for? What’s going on, Alexander? You don’t have to apologize for nothing if they win this game. Yeah, I don’t I don’t know if we judge games like that. Um, Nick, what about Treasure Planet? What about it? I’d like to see you try and throw a washing machine, Erica. They’re too heavy. But Well, I I mean, I’d be ecstatic. I I would love it. I’d be very very excited if if an oiler wanted to, you know, answer some questions and and and be in a video with me. That’d be pretty cool. Please see his life. All right, we’ll see you later, Elite Infinite. We’ll see you later. Thank you for tuning in. Oh, man. What a giveaway by Tomasek, but the Oilers, they look like they’ve recovered it here. Here’s Leon Dryidle with the puck. 42 Oilers. Dry Cidle with four points. Tries to find Trent Frederick or Samansky. Sorry. Samansky throws a hit. Heronic off the glass. Puck is sent down in the Oiler zone. Not going to be icing. Here’s Denine. Leaves it for Dryidle. Dryidle getting a shift with Samansky. I think that means Samansky’s probably being sent down after the game. But I do like that they’re giving Samansky a shift with his fellow German. Samansky throws the puck into the corner. Tomasek can’t find a play. And here comes Okconor. Okconor for the Canucks. Evan Bousard trying to play it forward. He does. And here comes Ike Howard now. Howard across to Tomasek to I mean not a good pass from Howard personally. But dude, I will be oiling up every single day all summer long if the Oilers win a cup. Here’s Ike Howard. He waits too long to put that buck in deep. So 737 to play here. 4-2 Edmonton. I’m very excited. Brandle, very excited. I I feel uncomfortable when Oilers Nation tells you to oil up every day. Lots of champagne. Lots of champagne. I will I will be going on quite the bender if Edmonton ever wins a cup. Responsibly though. A responsible bender. Here’s Lepenin. Spins away from a check. He’s knocked down. Good job by Lepin though to protect the puck. Vancouver though they do keep it alive. Here’s Forbert or the Canucks. Forbert reverses back to the point. Here’s Patterson towards the net off of a skate. Another shot towards the goal. Goes wide and Curtis Lazar. He’ll try and flip it out and the puck will deflect into the Oilers bench with 644 to go. Not responsibly. No. No. We’ll be responsible. We’ll be responsible. Hey, Tobias. Come on now. Let’s be friendly. Let’s be friendly to towards the the the Oilers Nation folk. puck played forward by the Oilers and I’ll get wrecked. Alexander, also I love how you like commented on my video this morning saying, “Let’s go Canucks.” But now you’re saying, “Let’s go Oilers.” Maybe Nightbot doesn’t like that. What? Don’t Don’t do that. Don’t do that. Don’t smoke cigarettes. Don’t do it. Don’t smoke. Nobody smoke. It’s bad for you. Don’t do it. Start the banner now for a win in preeason. Could you What would you all do if I started my postgame fan reaction just like shaking a bottle of champagne and just like going nuts for a preseason win? What would you do if I did that after every win? If I literally just celebrated like the team won the Stanley Cup, like it was just champagne celebration after every win in the regular season. Would that be like would that be too much milk? Nice job by Kappan. Blocks a centering pass and that’ll come all the way back into the Kuck zone. I would go home if I did if I did that. Jeffrey, you wouldn’t stay. You just go home. Come on, man. I would watch. Oh man, it’s very unhinged. This has been a very unhinged stream tonight. Don’t worry, we’re just getting started here on the Austin Hawk YouTube channel. The streams this season are going to be absolutely wild. I cannot wait. Uh I will try and get a PO box. Fleecy, I’ll try and get a PO box and then that way if fans ever want to send me anything, whether for giveaways or just out of the kindness of your hearts, then you’ll have somewhere to send it. I can do like a community fan mail days. Here’s a shot on Steu. Good save on McKern doesn’t even sound like a real name, but pregaming the cup win in October is wild. Yeah, I appreciate it, Jeffrey. Hey, what’s going on, Gold? Yeah. Uh, Neon Leon with four points tonight. Love that. Nurse Khan Smi, let’s do it. They’re going to have to cut the Con Smith trophy in half and give half to Nurse and half to Yanmark. I’m not answering that, Kyle. Here’s Frederick now. He’ll send the puck into the Vancouver zone. I think I don’t know. I don’t know if McDavid was looking for that puck, but he looked a little frustrated that Frederick put the puck in deep instead of passing it to him. So, I don’t know. Here’s Joseph to Coots. Vancouver will send it up the middle of the ice. Here comes Okconor. Gets by Lepin. Okconor behind the Others net far side. He will send it across. Puck comes to Marcus Patterson with a shot towards the Oilers’s net and that’s stopped by Steuart Skinner. Vancouver shooting Em 26 to 24 and the Vancouver’s pulling their net with four minutes left. Oh my god. The Vancouver Conucks with four minutes and 12 seconds to go. They’re pulling a Patrick Wah and they’re going to pull their goalie very early. Austin Hockey here cuts to me oil. Oh my goodness. What do you think fans of other teams would do? Like could you imagine the first game of the season? Like just picture this, right? The Calgary Flames in the middle of a rebuild, let’s say Edmonton wins the home opener. Let’s say it’s like 5-2 or something or 5-3. And in the postgame fan reaction, a a Calgary Flames fan tunes in first game of the year and I am popping a bottle of champagne and oiling up in the postgame fan reaction. What do you think a Calgary Flames fan would even think in that situation, bro? Oh my god, that would be so ridiculous. See, that’s how I could get myself to to uh 100,000 subscribers pretty quickly, just doing random [ __ ] like that. You’re right. Honestly, Oilers fans would be Yeah, I think Oilers fans would would definitely be uh Yeah. Hey Carolina, good to see you again. I also agree. I think if I Well, actually, no. I’d probably lose a lot of subscribers if I did that. Jesus. Oh my god. Yo, relax, bro. I’m going to do I’m going to do that in a random video one day. I swear I’m going to just be not not oil. I’m not going to oil myself up, but I am going to pop a bottle of champagne after a random win in the regular season just to see how people react. All right, four Vancouver 412 to play. Let’s see if Vancouver’s got some magic in them. Here’s heronic. He’s going to throw a puck towards the goal. Goes wide. Here’s Coots to Heedle. Heedle plays it to the blue line and that puck bounces over a stick. It’s going towards the empty net, but it’s not going to quite make it there. Y’all are wild tonight. This is a wild live stream, folks. I don’t know if I like regret doing the live stream tonight or not. This has gotten out of control and I have not been able to get anything under control tonight. Steuart Skinner out of his net, tries to play the puck around the boards, kept alive by the Canucks behind the net. Here’s Sherwood. Here’s LCramaki to Sherwood. Sherwood to Lramaki. Lramaki once again trying to just keep the puck in deep here. Oilers can’t come up with it. Puck sent to the blue line. Kept alive by Marcus Person. Down low to Sherwood. Sherwood to Heedle. Heedle on his backhand. Gets away from Ike Howard. Here’s Heedle for the Canucks. Across the ice to Patterson. Patterson trying to send it in front. Deflected by Sherwood into a body. Person at the point now to Heedle across the ice. And what a goal. Leer Macki makes it a onegoal game with 307 to go. Wow, what a pass and what a shot by Leaki. It is a 4-3 game. That’s a nice shot. There’s nothing Stu can do on that one, man. That’s a nice pass by Heedle. And uh yeah. Geez, that’s a beautiful pass. That’s a beautiful one-time there. I mean, there’s nothing Stu can do on that. Even even with the best lateral movement in the world, that was just that was just a bang bang play. All right, so 308 to go here. Vancouver’s only down one. What a goal. What a goal by the Canucks. That That’s just a nice That’s a nice goal. I mean, maybe I don’t think there’s many goalies in the league that are stopping that one. Puck around the board. Seven Bard. He’s going to find Trent Frederick. Oilers with the top line out trying to get the lead back to two. Here’s Connor McDavid around the boards here. He loses it. Kept alive for a moment. McDavid on his backand. He’ll play it back to Bousard in the neutral zone. Uh the net is no longer empty. I will update when it is empty again. Puck sent deep by the Oilers. Oh, they’re going to say no icing and then they said icing. I don’t know what that was all about. So, it is going to be icing. So, yeah, offensive zone face off for Vancouver and and Vancouver’s pulling their goalie again. Hey, Gold, do you want to put a link to the Discord in the chat, please? I just can’t do it right now. Six on five offensive zone draw for the Canucks. Oilers win the draw. Here’s the puck to McDavid. He tries to get it out. He cannot. Kept alive by Vancouver. Around the boards. Coots on the near side. Around the boards to Heedle. Here’s Heedle for Vancouver. Back to the point. Puck across. Here’s a good save by Stewart Skinner. Like Ramaki with another one-timer, but this time Stewart Skinner got across and stopped it. Oh no, the Oilers couldn’t get it out though. Echome with a bit of a jump ball. And here’s Leaki trying to get a Trent Frederick. Frederick and McDavid. He’ll come in along the near half wall. Patterson tries to keep it in and Vancouver does. Puck sent behind the Oilers goal. Sent in front and then the puck is sent down the ice off of a glove and Vancouver will reset in the neutral zone. Here is Marcus Person. Patterson for Vancouver. He waits to set up across the ice to Heedle. Heedle into the middle of the ice now to Coots trying to center it out in front. Coot still has it. He’ll give it to Heedle. Heedle to Heronic to Person. Heronic back to Person. Person to Heedle. Right circle. Here’s Philip Heedle with the puck now. He’ll give it to Heronic. Back to Heedle. Vancouver not shooting. There’s a shot now towards the goal. Doesn’t quite make it there. Edmonton sure they can’t get it out. Person keeps it in towards the net. That’s deflected wide by Sherwood. Here’s Heedle. Keeps it alive for a moment. Here’s McDavid. He can’t get it out. McDavid was checked. Vancouver keeps it in. Oh man. And Leer Mackey tried to center it out in front of the net. Can’t quite get it there. Puck hits the ref skates. And here’s McDavid now. He’ll find Casper Kain with the empty net and he shoots it over the net. Oh no, the Oilers again, just like last year, they can’t hit the empty net. Here’s Veronic now for Vancouver. 44 seconds to play here in the third period. Can Vancouver tie this thing up? They’ve been all over the Oilers. Here’s Patterson for Vancouver. Nice job by the Oilers. They’re forcing Vancouver like Vancouver’s been stuck at their own zone for a while here. Here’s Carlson trying to get it up the ice. Vancouver can’t get it in deep. Nice job by Em to stuff him at the line. Here’s Okconor now. He’ll send it in. Dump and chase Steuart Skinner out of his crease off the glass. And he does get that out of the zone. And that’s going to be all the way down. Not icing. Here’s Person Conucks up the middle of the ice. Person Baines tried to send it up and then the Oilers missed the net. And that’s going to be Icing with 1.9 seconds left. Who Who shot that puck? Who did that? Who did that? Who iced it? Not a good play. I need to know who tried to hit the empty net with two seconds left. I nervous for sure. and there’s a timeout called by the uh Canucks. I love how the Canucks, they’re using a timeout in preseason. Love that. 1.9 seconds to play here. Oh, I’m scared, bro. I’m scared to even know what you sent me. That’s a lot of time. Vancouver wins the face off. You never know. Here you send me a new theme song. Oh no. Here’s the faceoff. Everyone’s lined up here. Everyone’s lined up. All All the Oilers have to do is win a win a faceoff here. And they do. That’s going to be the end of the game. the Oilers. They defeat the Vancouver Conucks in preseason action. Probably not the type of win you want to see. All of the Oilers top line, like all of the Oilers top players produced. That’s good. But only the Oilers top players produced against an AHL team. That’s not so good. But the Oilers, they do get the win. Final score, four to three. Nice, nice effort from the Canucks. Obviously Vancouver, they there was a lot of desperation, a lot of players trying to make the team in Vancouver. Coots had a great game for the Canucks. Hey, we’ll see you later, Jeffrey. Thank you for tuning in. Before y’all head out, though, hit that like button. All right, let’s see if we can hit 90 likes, maybe even 100. The Edmonton Oilers host the Vancouver Canucks in their final home game of the preseason on Sunday night at Rogers Place. The kids trying to crack the lineup out of camp have outplayed the likes of Connor McDavid, Leon Draisaitl, and others, so for Edmonton’s vets this is a game to show the kids what it takes to stick around. A “lead by example” type of game so to speak. Austin Hockey brings you LIVE commentary and gameplay reaction in tonight’s livestream vs the Canucks! #oilers #edmontonoilers #nhl

  1. I just have to say, first a big hello Austin, and as a Canucks fan, I think my team did pretty well with three rookies scoring! I mean, come on, how are they supposed to beat McDrai!!! 😂 But they came close ❤ Fun game to watch 😊
