NEWS: New Orleans #Saints TEs Taysom Hill, Foster Moreau Returning To Practice, Cesar Ruiz Out Weeks

So many things have happened for the New Orleans Saints this afternoon. So, let’s get into it. Let’s get good news and then bad news on the injury front. Good news, the Saints are expecting tight ends Taesm Hill as well as Foster Marorrow to make their way back to practice on Wednesday. Now, just because they’re getting back to practice and just because their practice window is open, it does not mean that they will be available to play up against the New York Giants in week five. I would consider that a long shot. Not impossible, but certainly a long shot. But getting either one of those players back in the next three weeks, if not both, would be massive for New Orleans, who are converting only 50% in the red zone when it comes to scoring touchdowns. So getting either one of those tight ends and those playmakers back could be massively helpful for New Orleans as they continue to watch their offense evolve, change, and grow. Meanwhile, bad news. Starting right guard Caesar Ruiz, just after the New Orleans Saints finally got their full offensive line out on the field for almost a half, is going to end up being out for four to six weeks, according to NFL Networks Ian Raport with a high ankle sprain. So, I would expect Torselli Simpkins to stand in at right guard just like he did in that game up against the Buffalo Bills. But once Dylan Raidens is healthy, who’s also coming back from a toe injury himself, I could absolutely see Dylan Raiden stepping in there. He started 15 games at right guard for the Tennessee Titans last year. By the way, make sure you check your calendars. Week six, New Orleans Saints hosting the New England Patriots has also been flexed out of the 325 spot. That is now a noon

  1. Hope Taysom and Foster get in as soon as they are allowed, we would have won a few games with them. It's better Ruiz is out, he was a liability. He was getting spun around with ease, he was letting rushers free without even touching them.

  2. seeing rattler miss on a wide open shot is disturbing. watching old heads talk about how they'd find brees watching film when they went after hours to retrieve something they forgot gets me depressed about the now of it.

  3. I dont want cesar ruiz to have a injury. I wish that on no one. But I would love to see him cut. Every qb pressure or sack. Or TFL in the middle was him just completely letting someone go un touched. How does a interior DL let that happen?

  4. The Ruiz news isn’t good news bc we never wish injury on a person but it also ain’t bad news that he’s missing time….how about we just call it “news” out of respect for all parties involved 😉
