Do The San Francisco 49ers Have A Brock Purdy Problem? #shorts 49ers News

Do the 49ers have a Brock Pury problem? In his last 17 starts, combining 2024 and this year, Perty has 16 interceptions. He’s turning it over at an alarming rate. And that is not a sustainable way to play football. And it’s very hard to win when you turn the ball over at that clip. Now, of course, it’s not fully on perturie. The offensive line is not good enough. And this has been a problem for San Francisco for years because Kyle Shanahan and John Lynch don’t prioritize the offensive line enough. But we knew going into this game, the Stags defense, it’s legit. They had nine turnovers forced in the first three games heading in. Then they won the turnover margin 40. They have forced 13 turnovers in four games. San Francisco’s offensive line gave up 16 pressures against Jacksonville. And then there’s this as well. Pertie yesterday clearly was not 100%. He couldn’t plan his feet. He couldn’t drive off of his foot.

  1. Now is not the time to realize Purdy has a problem. It was during contract negotiations 🤦 now we are stuck and gotta reconstruct the entire offense to cover up our weakness

  2. I think the line is bad and all, but Purdy is forcing it too much and ignoring easy checkdows. He needs to go back being that smart player that he was.

  3. His problem is he holds onto the ball way to long, he doesn’t hit his receivers at their cut and he’s trying to hard to get the ball to certain players instead of just getting the ball to the open guy

  4. That’s what I’ve always hated about qb stats. It counts the INT even if the receiver had both hands on the ball and misses it causing the turnover. In turn, passing yards also count if he throws for 1 yard and the receiver runs the 99. Watch him play. Yes, he had a shitty game against JAX but so did the rest of the offense. Let’s not act like he sucks after a helluva a career so far.

  5. This is why I hate stats. Nothing shows the amount of bobbled/dropped passes that were picked or the balls tipped. INTs that are thrown in bad spots are the ones that are concerning. Purdy doesn't put the ball in those spots as often as most QBs.

  6. I been on purdy side since his rookie year in pre season I told all my people he is the best QB on our team that year he should start and he did but now I'm tired of the turn overs by him he's not a beginner anymore
