It would be a massive collapse at this point if they lose the division to the Bengals without Burrow, the injury destroyed Ravens, or the tanking Browns. I expect a ton of struggles in the second half of the season but this division fell apart entirely and the Steelers should start out 5-1/4-2.
Only issue I see is that they could still get a really difficult wildcard matchup with an AFC West team or the Ravens or Texans if they survive their injuries. Imagine finally getting a winnable home playoff game and matching up against the Chiefs…
Lamar is acting like a 4 year old, and the ravens just lost their best defender. The bungals lost burrow. And the browns are the browns. That being said, I’ll get excited week 16. I’ve seen this teams December football too many times to be confident in anything.
As far as I’m concerned it’s ours to lose at this point.
Don’t get me wrong, we could totally lose it. But it’s ours to lose.
Draft kings won’t even let you bet on the Steelers to win the AFC North at the moment. They know, we know.
I’m not gonna hold my breath
lol Ravens. Bitches
I’m just glad we finally got a qb better than duck hodges
Some say in hushed whispers that with every win, Aaron Rodger’s helmet gets even bigger.
The Bengals being a game up over Baltimore lol
Heard this plenty times
Get that man a bigger helmet!
I’m going to try and enjoy the bye week games. The Steelers being on a 2 game winning streak is a good place to be on their bye week.
The Steelers are legitimate contenders to win the AFC North. The Steelers are not yet the favorite to win the AFC North. That team they played in the playoffs last year could still be a problem.
The fact we aren’t the only team imploding in the AFC North is kinda crazy. It’s scarily calm.
I’m happy but 1 game lead with 13 to go isn’t exactly insurmountable. Teams can get right quickly. Look what the Falcons did this week after losing 30-0 the week before. Cautiously optimistic but not counting out Bengals or Ravens just yet. Sorry Browns.
Ravens will be 1-6 easy. I predicted 0-7 to start the season for them before finally getting a win against Miami but they luckily at least beat the Browns.
This division is such a shit show lmao. The path has never been easier we need to make a run this year(a deep playoff run is a win for me but I’m probably in the minority), if we collapse again this year then there is no hope for this team and a complete tear down is needed
How easy it is to forget that we were like this last year too. Week 4, we were 3-1 and the ratbirds and bungles were 1-3. By Week 10, this sub was filled with “Gahnta” and things of that nature. Until they prove me otherwise, I think I’ll continue living in my fears this season.
Bears fan here. I would have taken Rodgers as well considering the Steelers offseason choices at QB. Fine move for a year or two.
Please make this graphic a thing. Every week that the Steelers continue winning and hold onto first, Rodgers’ helmet gets bigger and bigger.
Espn had us projected to be 3rd at best?

Bungles were so ass on MNF it should count as losing 2 games
That is exactly what we all predicted.
Division is very much ours for the taking if we want it. Ravens will have an injured Lamar for a couple weeks and could easily be 2-4 going into their bye. Bengals look like the Bungals without Burrow. And the Browns…
In the next few weeks we have a bye, Browns, Bengals. Take care of business there we are 5-1, Ravens are 2-4 (if Lamar misses next week or seriously limited honestly could be 1-5).
From there, win 6 or 7 of the next 11 and we are sitting pretty with 11 or 12 wins. Its extremely doable as long as we can beat the teams we should, even if we get crushed by the Bills and Lions

I don’t think the helmet is big enough though.
