  8. Got to meet Bill Nye at an event while I was attending University of Arkansas like 10 years ago. He was awesome! Just a genuine super nerd that’s always excited to talk science no matter who the audience is

  24. I remember when he was on Bill Maher’s show and to provoke a reaction, Bill Maher brought up Google search on his laptop and typed in “Is the Moon” in the search bar. The first autocomplete was “real?”

    As the audience broke with laughter, Nye feigned slamming his head against the desk repeatedly.

    I love Bill Nye.

  25. Seemingly random, but very wholesome. Jaylen Brown is a legitimate nerd outside of basketball so it’s not a surprise he idolized Bill Nye as a kid.

  26. I feel like the creator of the theme song deserves a lot of credit for his success lol. 

    I grew up with him but just watched for the intro. 

    Popular mechanics for kids was my science show.
