NHL Highlights | Sharks vs. Ducks | September 29, 2025
Ducks two and two on the preeason and
they’ll begin the line of Carlson, Terry, and Crider in their home orange and the Sharks in
their road white. We are underway. Ducks get it deep and Kyle Granland works it loose. Goce got
it back to the line. Zeliger got it through and Jacob Scarrick with the first save of the game.
Blackhawk who gets it into the Anaheim zone. Nice pass into the middle and Kenyon gets a shot
away from the line that will hang on to. Important that they have strong games tonight. And you
talked about the Carlson line with Crider and Terry being together a lot in camp. We’ve seen
this threesome together a lot in camp as well. Kangelo keeps it alive for Netor. And again, back
to the point. Cudis floats one looking for a tip. It gets through and Scarrick will cover it up
as the net goes off. More spin move. still with it. Rarling into the middle. Terry makes the pass
over off the skin of Carlson and kicked aside by Scarrick who covers to the left of the goalender.
West Krider in front of the net and this is a veteran guy I think is really going to help the
power play. But see how he’s behind the line so it’s difficult to be checked. Sticks in the
goal crease waiting for that cross ice pass. Leo tried to put it. Sharks get it through center and
pursues in the Anaheim zone. loosens the puck up to Landry comes in and Huso got a piece. Good save
by Billy Huso there. Stop. That’s twice against Ty Dandria. He made a good save. This is a turnover
down low and a nice little move by Dandria to pull that puck inside. Pops in the circles in the
offensive zone. You want to put that puck on the net. Knead snuck behind the defense. Got a piece
of that pass. Now sets up for Toronto and a good save by he’s probably not going to make the pass.
is a shooter. He gets that puck by the stick and gets it away. That was a deep positional stop by
young goalender Scar. Three consecutive years for Toronto. It just comes across the stripe. Kangelo
slips the check of Kishia. Little drop pass. Dying second. Zelwiger gone. Good save by Scar in the
offensive zone. And good little play by Kangelo to spot Zelwiger with speed. Pretty severe
shooting angle off Walst from stick into the Anaheim crease. It’s Lakome who comes away with it
and he kicks it out of the zone being tracked from behind. Carries all the way into the Shark zone.
Carlson great pass to Crider and a good save by Scar. Pass again from Lome. Here’s that pass by
Leo Carlson on the backand slides it across to Krider. And that was Garrick’s best stop of the
game. No question about it. But eyes in the back of his head. Great little path and cleared
away. by Ian Moore. Crider across the line, sets up Becket Senica. Nice move, gets in front.
Save made by Scar and he’ll draw a penalty here. He already possesses an NHL caliber shot, but
his ability to do things like that. And that was against Little Grim. He’s one of the more veteran
defensemen who dressed for the San Jose Sharks in this game tonight. Overloading the left side
of the zone as Zelwiger again to the half wall. Kornne will try to move into
the middle. Little give and go with Stro and it comes back to Goce who scores. There’s that release from cutter goce.
That puck squirts free. We’re talking about power plays and how well Jay Wickra’s
talking about being aggressive. You see the number of orange jerseys attacking the goal. See
Borne the give and go. Gets it back from Stone, but good things happen. You create a little
chaos down low. Gets his own dump in. Tried to feed it in front for Shane Bowers, but
that was broken up. Back comes Neesto Reno. Kangelo written off behind the net. Netor back to
Kangelo. Brings it in front and another chance. Cuda scores. Nice work on the for check and
the Ducks get two real quick of the pressure up ice in on the forch check was down below
the net. Shark couldn’t put the puck behind the net as a result and watching Kangelo do a
real nice job recovering that puck. So goals 47 seconds. Lauren trying to leave it for Hines.
He was trying to go up the board. So it forces a restart and Ian Moore snaps it into the middle.
Stro shovels it up right wing room for Hines the defenseman leads the rush. Great pass over
with the finish. Was a beauty all the way from the defensive zone. Cander there that springs
high. He throws on the brakes. Spots the stick of Frank for Toronto. Creates a little bit
of space for himself. But boy that he fired a dart across the front and he knew just what
to do with it. Get it up. Tender had no chance. He’s paired out there with Dear, another
regular NHL boy. Carlson turns the corner, storms right in a carry, a point blank with
the stop and gets the whistle despite never covering the puck. Blew the whistle that he
did, but it might be a good thing for Anaheim because two San Jose forwards about to jump
into the rush. Love to see Leo attacking that goal crease and Troy Terry follows up.
And again, there is a renewed emphasis this season on getting bodies to the front of
the opposing team’s net. Adam Gardet recovers again. Snap shot with Manu and scores. They were trying to get it to him to let that
big shot go and that one makes it 3-1. Now the big Russian is 23 years of age is an unrestricted
free agent and he’s got another Russian that he can talk to and make him feel a little bit more
comfortable. That appears to change direction here. See if we can pick it up. Yep. Yeah. Off
the toe of the skate regenda. And five and a half to play. Second period. Puck to the corner off
the draw. Kicked loose and the Sharks unable to come up with it. It’s Stro who skates away. He’s
got Korn shorthanded save made by Kerier. Yeah, nice little pass from Ryan Stro there. I think the
line went up and said, “You know what? We should have given you time.” Here was that great pass.
Stro to Color. Knocked down along the boards. Gets the puck back though as Halton kept it alive.
Now skates across the top, puts it through. Huselo made the savees to his right to keep the rebound
out as well as Aonasai was there. Quenville has is you already got to always have a defenseman in
front of the net. That puck got through and Billy Huso did a good job of kind of fighting through
the screen locating it. Kept his body square, kept the shoulders high to protect penalty is
over to Halton and both teams full strength. Ducks get one shot on goal as they come up empty on the
power play. Here’s Senica pulls it to the middle, goes backand and it’s kicked away by Ker. Another
changer off the bench is Senakica drops it back to Moore. Now Peck Senica dusts it off, holds it
in over top of the net. Goals on the board last year for Ottawa. Here’s the bid by Senica and he
does not miss. I do not think the Sharks want to give Becket Senica that much time with the puck.
No, he can hammer it. He has a NHL caliber shot, that’s for sure. Now it’s called tried to tow
drag it and then he gets it back and scores. had a little bit of the crossbar like Mo when he reaches for this he
just couldn’t get back up to his skates to defend and the Ducks a little bit starts
it back chipped ahead by Reanda turning the corner to Landria walks across the crease
and uso’s got the puck where Dandria gets a good angle on Gudas and he tries to sweep
it around the left pad and oh boy Deno took swat at it. It’s cleared away and that’s
going to do it. The Sharks dump it in as the horn sounds and hangs on tonight and
gets a win at Honda Center 3-2 over San

Another win for the duckies! 🦆
Go Sharks
Still preseason
Even though Granlund is playing well, I am waiting for way, way more points from him.
Liljegren is washed and needs to be off the sharks as soon as possible.
Tho this is preseason game but feel like the Ducks are ready return to Playoff
Why they are so scoreless in preseason games?
