Post-Ducks crashout, how Trevor Zegras can recapture the ‘magic’ with the Flyers

  1. Hopefully it’s a good fit and his career takes off being able to consistently play center. I would have liked to see what he could do here, but I see why there isn’t really a spot for him anymore.

  2. He’ll be a fine powerplay merchant next to Michkov but I’m not expecting much more.

I will say, so far his skating doesn’t look as bad as it did last season so maybe the knee injury was still bothering him when he came back.

  3. I’m not sure why everyone has such hard feelings about Zegras. He was a fun player to watch and he was a great personality. The role they wanted him to play didn’t really fit his play style and skill set. He knew that and I think Verbeek knew that as well. He always played with effort. It’s not his fault he got traded. I really liked watching him play for the Ducks. I hope he does great on the Flyers.
