This isn’t new, he’s used a lot of different stats (such as passing) to determine winners in various drills and scrimmages. One was they could not dribble the ball, but had to follow all the rules.
I’m glad to see running, as the Celts with Tatum are generally bottom 3 in pace. Brown however has been one of the top 5 transition players in the league. If Brown’s leading the team, both because of the lack of shooters and because pace is a better fit currently, good to see this is emphasized already in practice.
Speak for yourself. Mazzulla is a terrible coach, and was a big reason why they lost to a far inferior Knicks team last year. There were alot of good coaches available, this off-season would’ve been a great time to upgrade. Then again, I suppose it doesn’t matter. Based on the fact that their first move was to strip the roster down, this new ownership group is not interested in winning at a high level.
