  1. Win or lose this series, I rewatched 2016 videos last night. I will never forget 2016 and no matter what, I seen the cubs win it all in my lifetime. That is something I will never forget no matter how we play.

Now with that being said, I have a 3 week old little girl who deserves to see the cubs win a World Series now!

  2. Any good spots in Philly to watch the game? Would love to watch with some fellow Cubs fans.

  3. Regardless of what happens I feel at peace with this season. The Cubs provided entertaining and meaningful baseball all spring and summer and managed not to completely collapse down the stretch. The future looks bright in ’26 and beyond with Steele/Horton anchoring the rotation and Wiggins waiting in the wings. Our core of position players are all excellent defenders and have at least serviceable bats, with Busch, PCA, Amaya, Shaw etc still room to break out. Jed and Counsell have proven they can piece together a solid bullpen. The Padres are tough and it could go either way, but I won’t be too sour if they go out in the first round. Go Cubs

  4. I have my work calendar marked from 3pm EST onward with “project work.” Productivity at work will be at an all time low.
    LFG Cubs!

  5. Wow what a remarkable season. Regardless of what happens I hope the cubs win the World Series

  6. During the Reds series, maybe the Saturday game, I opened the MLB app on my mobile device to catch some of the game. Game had already started and was already in the fifth or sixth inning.
The closed captioning was on for whatever reason so I was reading along and instead of seeing “Pete Crow-Armstrong” the text read “Pico Armstrong.”
My children and I now refer to Pete as Pico and I think it’s hilarious. Anyways, here’s hoping Pico gets hot in October!

  7. Still grumpy that I won’t be able to watch because of work. Guess I’ll have to listen to the radio broadcast when I can. Go Cubs!

  8. Seems like the season just started so weird to see NL Wild Card on top. Also interesting that we’re carrying 3 catchers into the playoffs.

  9. I feel very strongly that this roster is poised to rise to the occasion and step up big. I’m basing this mostly on waking up rested and feeling good. I’m entitled to change how I feel about this at any given moment

  10. This is my 10th postseason as a Cubs fan. Just trying to enjoy the atmosphere, sights and sounds, and be thankful we are here (thankful we won in 16). Whatever happens happens. Go Cubs! FlyTheW

  11. I want you to remember that no bastard *ever* won a Wild Card series by “coming back strong in game 2”. They won it by making the other poor dumb bastards “come back strong in game 2”. Everything you’ve heard about The Cubs getting bounced in the first round is a bunch of horse dung

The Cubs play and win as a team. Those billious bastards who wrote that crap on Facebook and Twitter about “not being able to win without Cade Horton” don’t know anything more about real baseball than they do about fornicating

Now, we have the finest baseball team, the best defensive center fielder, the best spirit and the best team in the world. You know, by God, I actually pity the poor Padres we’re going up against. By God, I do. We’re not just going to beat the Padres, we’re going to sweep them and use the footage on our World Series DVDs

I don’t want to read any Reddit posts about how “we’ll wait until next year.” We’re not waiting for anything. Let the Padres do that. We are scoring constantly and we’re not interested in “next year”. We’re going to hold onto the Padres by the nose and we’re going to kick them in the ass. We’re going to kick their ass the entire series and we’re going to go through them like crap through a goose!

Now, there’s one thing that you all will be able to say during this off-season and you may thank God for it. Thirty years from now, when you’re sitting around your fireside with your grandson on your knee and he asks you, “What did you do during the 2025 World Series?” You won’t have to say, “Well….I was rooting for the Yankees to beat the Brewers”

All right now, you r/CHICubs posters, you know how I feel. I will be proud to post about the Cubs’ postseason victories any time, anywhere. That’s all

  12. As fun as this looks for everyone, it does feel like kinda bullshit all the games are this early. Much harder to put together a good crowed on a work Tuesday midafternoon (not that I’m also mad I can’t drive down to San Diego for an away game)
