belongs to the Steelers. I think it all depends on Lamar. Like, does he miss is is this a hamstring injury where he misses a game or two? They need to beat Houston and the Rams or at least at least one of them. Yeah. And so, you know, if not really both. If he misses, say, a game or two and they lose it, now you’re starting to that record’s starting to really get poor. if he plays next weekend and mentally he’s fine. I mean, obviously it was a tough weekend for him. Um, if if he’s fine, then I think they’ll still win the division. They’re only two games back and they play the Steelers twice, so they still control their own destiny. And now the schedule does get lighter. I think it’s the eighth easiest schedule according to Bill Barnwell from here on. I think the Steelers should make the playoffs. So, I do think at this point they I mean looking at the AFC, you think the Steelers are going to win the division? No, I think I think Baltimore is still going to win. Yeah, I do too. Like the their defense has been decimated, right? There’s seven out of 11 starters didn’t play, so that’s almost the whole the whole teams. And it’s as as bad as it looked, any team’s going to look pretty bad if you’re losing seven out of your 11 starters. It’s crazy. They were favored. and they’ve got they’ve got Lamar and and it wasn’t his best game this this past weekend, but I don’t think that he by any stretch this is going to continue the way it’s gone. You’re not worried about the devastating hamstring? I’m not worried about that. I’m not really worried about Derrick Henry’s fumbles. I I would imagine that those two guys at any point could switch back to what we’ve what we’ve seen and they could run away with the division. And at any point, Aaron and Pittsburgh could go pumpkin. Oh, listen. So, their picked up. I fully expect Lamar to instantly look like Lamar again because he he’s looked like Lamar every moment of since he came back, since he signed the new contract. He’s always looked like Lamar. He has been absolutely unbelievable except for in very specific high leverage moments when he has looked exactly like I expect Lamar Jackson to look like you you tweeted like you you know this team is unrecognizable and recognizable and I said like it’s totally recognizable to me. It’s exactly what I what I expect. So I don’t think there’s going to be lingering effects for Lamar. I think that assume again assuming he he’s he’s playing I bet he’ll play really well against Houston even though Houston’s a great miss any time with this hand. I don’t I I don’t think so. weird then it was a weird it was a weird injury that none of us saw him like we didn’t know when it happened and none of the trainers helped him get what was the score when they had that 17 they were No they were down 1710 okay are we here to talk about the Pittsburgh Steelers or what or are we going to have a whole Steelers segment and talk about nothing but Lamar Jackson’s hamstrings and the Baltimore Ravens look at the disrespect on the Pittsburgh Steelers and not even close to a belief that the Steelers can win this division. Can’t even even admit that this was an awesome win by the Steelers and that they are indeed winning the division and playing pretty good football. Before I get too far into it, I got to thank the Pittsburgh Steelers fans because I came out to you guys yesterday and said, “Seelers fans, I want to make Steelers videos. I lived in Pittsburgh. I want to make more Steelers videos, but they’re one of the few teams that these that these videos are so hit or miss and a lot of miss. Okay? It is the best way to support the growth of this channel to help my ability to be able to keep making great Steelers content.” And you all answered that video now has thousands and thousands of views whereas before that, my other Pittsburgh Steelers videos. Okay, let me uh let me bring this up. Okay. Uh 847 views, 537 views. Uh and this was uh just uh 10 days ago, zero comments, 540 views, 920 views, 819 views, 439 views, right? And it’s just like I want to be clear. I’m not just trying to chase views. I’m not just trying to get tens and millions of views. I want the views, too. Of course, I’ll be honest about that. But if I really wanted views, I would be like, “Pittsburgh Steelers are going to win the Super Bowl. Aaron Rodgers is trash.” I’m here to have real honest conversations. And if people don’t watch the the the the teams that I talk about or the videos that I watch, it’s like it’s it’s hard for me to keep making those videos. I want to, but if no one’s even going to comment, well, then it’s just like nobody’s watching these videos and nobody’s commenting on these videos. Then why make them, right? like I’m I’m I’m here to have a real community, to have real conversations until you all answer the call. I really really appreciate it. I don’t know if it’s cuz I started bringing up Oakland, the strip district, uh getting junior bacon cheeseburgers, not junior bacon cheeseburgers, getting bacon cheeseburgers at the O, eating those fries. Okay? Because the story of the weekend was the Pittsburgh Steelers. It was Aaron Rodgers. They had an amazing an amazing response to dealing with the pressure and the intensity of the defense of Brian Flores uh and the of the Vikings. Okay. I mean, Aaron Rogers was getting that ball out in a in in in a snap of the fingers, man. I mean, he was getting rid of the ball the fastest he’s he’s had, I think, in his entire career. Like, every ball was out there. 2.1 2.1 2.1 2.1. There had an extra lineman to help deal with the pass rush. And Aaron Rogers only had two sacks. They had they had a solution to the Minnesota Vikings defensive problems. And nobody was giving them a chance. Nobody was giving Aaron Rogers a chance. And now they win. Aaron Rogers plays great. He plays a near perfect game. 18 for 22, 200 yards and a touchdown. And nobody wants to talk about it. Nobody wants to talk about it. No, I refuse because guess what? I know it was a backup quarterback with Carson Wentz. I think Carson Wentz played great. Carson Wentz made some really, really beautiful throws. But the Pittsburgh Steelers defense was awesome. Okay, I I wrote this violent, physical, opportunistic. That was the Pittsburgh Steelers defense that I was expecting to see out the jump. It’s what this Pittsburgh Steelers that that that’s who the Pittsburgh Steelers defenses and just the culture I know them to be. And I hadn’t seen that. But they were violent, physical, opportunistic. They were forcing a ton of third and longs. They had six sacks, forced fumbles, two interceptions. They swallowed up the run game. The run game was essentially non-existent for the Vikings. They were able to run the ball. 29 carries, 131 yards, four and a half yards per carry, two touchdowns. I mean, this was a perfect game for the Steelers. A perfect game. And we’re going to sit here and just talk about the Minnesota Vikings or not talk about the Minnesota Vikings. We’re going to talk about the Baltimore Ravens, Lamar’s hamstrings, try to figure out, oh well, did he just want to like not play anymore? What’s the story here? I don’t know. I don’t care. We’re talking about the Steelers. And the whole idea, well, Aaron Rogers in the series can go pumpkin mode in any moment. Unbelievable. Unbelievable. It’s okay. Listen, I thought Aaron Rogers was going to have a tough go at it against the Minnesota Vikings. I really did. I really did. And I and I made a video kind of discussing of like, listen, he hasn’t been great under pressure. So, in order to really win, you have to be essentially near flawless when he is protected. You got to come down with the big catches. You got to have great defense, right? You you you you got to be really perfect because you’re just not going to really be able to deal with the pressure as well. Uh they dealt with the pressure beautifully. Aaron Rodgers was being all slippery. I mean, Aaron Rogers was was looking great. I mean, this this was a great game and it should be spoken as such. I don’t know how this season’s going to continue unfold for the Pittsburgh Steelers, but the SP but the Pittsburgh Steelers are winning. Aaron Rogers is winning. He’s playing really well. This defa def defense is getting better coming into form. The run game is starting to evolve. The play calling is looking great. They had genuine solutions to the Minnesota Vikings problems. That’s coaching. Aaron Rogers is connected to this team. He’s been doing a great job. DK Mechaf is doing great. And we don’t want to talk about it. We don’t want to talk about it. We don’t want to bring it up. We don’t want to mention it. We just want to say, “Well, you know, the Steelers could fail at any moment.” So can every team out there. So can every team out there. It’s okay to admit a team that we didn’t think was going to be good when when that team is actually playing good. It’s okay to admit, “Yeah, they’re actually playing pretty well right now. Yeah, that was a big win. That was a good win.” It’s okay to admit that. It’s okay to acknowledge that. Yeah, the Ravens could get on track. I don’t think Lamar Jackson just didn’t lose the ability to play football. You know, it’s hard. You got to do the math with all the injuries that the Ravens have right now in terms of when everyone’s getting healthy, you know, and all that type of stuff, but there’s just a lot to like about this Pittsburgh Steelers team right now. They have a lot of momentum. And this was the best game that they played in a long time. This was an intentional game. some of the great games that they even had last year, even with Russell Wilson. A lot of it just felt like uh there’s a lot of hopes and prayers in this game right now. Like, yeah, they won. Yeah, they put up points, but like uh I don’t know, man. There’s definitely a lot of, you know, it’s just a typical Russell Wilson moonball of just like I’m letting it rip. I hope someone in yellow and black uh catches it. It’s like, yeah, man. Me, too. This was actually intentional. This was like, we have a game plan. We have a game plan. We are predicting what this other team is going to look to do and we are now going to devise a game plan to use that against them to use that to exploit them and then we execute this flawlessly to the best of our abilities. We come away with the win and we just then don’t want to discuss it. That’s just that’s just crazy to me. That really is that that I mean, you know, especially after we’ve already talked about Lamar Jackson for hours. This is about the Pittsburgh Steelers.
