  1. He’s not wrong. People still go to Canucks games, even during the dark benning years.

  2. I hear what he’s saying, but I’m not sure what he thinks I can do about it, exactly.

  3. No Canadian city accepts winning. Has he seen the fan and media shitstorm that surrounds under performing players?

  4. What the fuck are we, the average person, supposed to do? Not go to anymore games?

I don’t like losing as much as the next person but I’d love to hear more about the steps one can take to help their team win a game.

  5. Thomas Muller must be like why don’t the Canucks buy Mcdavid from our rivals like Munich bought Gotze and Hummels

  6. I mean easy to say coming from a league where the same teams have more money than everyone else and win every year.

North American sports are attempting parity, so you have to accept not winning.

  7. You know what that means, boys! *grabs pitch fork and torch and starts flipping cars over downtown*

  8. I feel like everyone isn’t understanding what he’s actually saying. As Vancouver sports fans we’ve certainly set up a defence mechanism where we don’t allow ourselves to feel hurt as much when our teams suck. I feel like it’s more so calling out the organizations for not delivering success to the fans? Of course, I could be completely wrong but it doesn’t seem like he’s talking shit about the fans at all lol

  9. Yeah but you don’t have nearly as many participation medals and trophies as I do.

  10. Way out of context. Watch the full video, he’s not taking a shot.

However there is no disputing that the Canucks are a mess of a franchise with terrible ownership. I now know people that have been fans for 40+ years and will die before they get to see their team win. I’m in my 30s and I have no confidence that I’ll see them win before I die.
