Honest question — Theo Ratliff or Dikembe Mutumbo?

I always liked Theo. It’s a shame. I mean I guess we had to go try to be at Shaq and the Lakers, but man, Theo was always my guy.
Dik
Theo would have won with him.
Theo was great but no Dikembe.
Theo
I don’t think it’s a fair questions. One was entering their prime. The other was just past it. Shame, a healthy Theo could have made a difference.
Theo… but it wouldn’t have mattered against prime Shaq
I don’t think this is the right question. It should be Theo Ratliff and Toni Kukoc or Dikembe Mutumbo.
To be honest, he was great that year but would have been abused in the finals more than Mutumbo. If we had both, maybe then we could have done something against LAs wings and let Shaq do his thing.
Not trading for Deke would’ve been 18 months with no Theo. Could we have survived with Mohamed, Geiger, Kukoc, and Big Todd? Who the hell knows because Larry Brown would’ve traded them for nonsense in the offseason anyway.
Ratliff would later be a beast for the Blazers
I will go to my grave believing that keeping Theo and Kukoc would have given us a better chance in 2001. That team was absolutely cooking before the trade. I realize Theo got hurt so it’s a moot point, but man that team just had it.
The issue was what they traded for Deke
Deke was way better than Ratliff if you just compare them one on one
Regardless no one was beating that Lakers team. It’s one of the best ever
