This scrutinized Chiefs player is quietly improving… ๐Ÿ‘€

So, a key piece of the Chief’s offense keeps getting better with time and that is a very great sign, especially this early on in the season. So, one of the biggest concerns along the offensive line heading into the season was obviously the left guard, Kingsley Su Matia, because he’s never really played guard before. And it was a rough start even through four weeks of the season. He’s allowed the most pressures on the team. Actually tied for first with Josh Simmons, who is also allowed 10. However, Josh Simmons doesn’t lose as quickly as Kingsley has, and that was the biggest concern with Kingsley Su Matia was how fast those losses happened. Well, I’ve noticed two things about Kingsley over the past couple of weeks, which means he’s trending up at the perfect time. He’s not losing as often, and he’s also not losing as quickly when he does lose. Now, listen to this one. per NFL pro. After allowing a team high eight pressures in weeks one and two, Kingsley Su Matia has allowed just one pressure across 82 pass blocks over his last two games. Now, there is a discrepancy there. PF says 10 pressures, NFL Pro is saying nine pressures. But still, this is great news and I’m very happy that Kingsley is getting better with time. And then, while we’re on the subject, Jawan Taylor, he got flagged four times week one, then two, then one week three, and then zero last week. His grade is technically going down throughout these weeks a little bit here, but I will take a worse quote unquote PFF grade over zero flags anytime, any day.

That's pretty good considering the giants have a good defensive line they just beat the chargers if he can put together a solid performance Monday night I think this team could run the table after that performance against Baltimore I guarantee the rest of the league took notice and we still have rice coming back hardman can go on practice squad and we still have the trade deadline if we feel the need to add anymore depth… Looks like the revenge tour is full speed ahead ๐Ÿ™โœ๏ธ let's go boys..

  13. I donโ€™t think itโ€™s a good thing that Jawan Taylor canโ€™t seem to be any good unless heโ€™s basically cheating and getting flagged repeatedly, he apparently can not be an above average player unless heโ€™s getting flagged

  14. I knew Kingsley would get better. He was put in a difficult situation last yr. and it was a little to much to ask of a rookie. I'm glad the coaches stuck with him because he just needed more time to get acclimated with the offense.

  18. The left side of the line has been serviceable. Which is all we can ask for, we will know more once we start running into elite pass rushers like Crosby and Hutchinson.

  21. It helped having #1 back for the deep threat to keep the D honest and also with #15 getting the ball out quick with those short quick routes. A good mix like that and with #4 due back soon will help and that may open up the run game a little bit more and #15 wonโ€™t have to scramble as much like he didnโ€™t have to in week 4

  22. I just hope Jawaan Taylor continues his performance like in the Ravens game. I too will take a worse performance over getting 20 yrds in penalties alone.

  24. Taylor with zero flags was great to see. I watched some film on Kingsley against the Ravens, and he was also looking for help less often. In the Chargers game, Creed was sliding his way more often, and when they sent 5, it looked bad, but this is getting blocked up now.

  30. I love it Taylor is solid if he doesn't draw flags and Kingsley/Simmons are doing good too, our offense is flowing again and Rice/Royals are on the way baby
